I had an appointment for 11am. I arrived at 10:30. The person that accepted my car told me that it would take 3 hours to install and balance 4 tires. 6 hours ++ my car still isn't ready. I booked an appointment on 6/4/25 for service on 6/5/25 at 8am. I call to confirm appointment and tires on 6/4/25. Next, I arrived at schedule appointment the following day, 10 minutes(7:50am) early to begin service. 1 hour and 10 minutes later after arrival, Manager tells me that my tires are not in. I ask how is that possible when I called the previous day to confirm. I told manager the person I spoken with and told him on the website, it said 17 of those tires are in stock. Manager further tells me not to believe what's on the website and that my tires won't be on sight until 1pm. Nonetheless, I wasn't receiving any updates or communication. I literally had to walk up to customer service just to get answers regarding my vehicle. It is now 2:45pm and I am still here waiting. At 3:36pm my car is finish and I'm ready to checked out then retrieve my car. Unfortunately, they did not complete the job. I ask for my tail left signal light bulb to be replaced and it was not complete. I had to walk back in and inform the manager. Overall the manager was very accommodating and offer me $100 off my tires and did not charge me for the light bulb. He also offer me a free oil change next visit. But still that can't compensate for the lack of service and the 8 hours of me sitting here waiting. Last, there is a lack of communication and customer service. The service overall was unacceptable and just bluntly rudeness. It was such an inconvenience and delayed me for on time work arrival. I literally sat in your waiting room for over 8 hours. I would not recommend anyone coming to this location for auto service. read more

if you have plans to do anything, don't come to this, Firestone. I walked in the door to have two tires replaced under warranty. I clearly stated that I had to go to work and I asked politely how long would it take? I was told that it would take an hour and a half. I noted the time that I came in and I noted that it was exactly 3 hours that it took for them to change 2 tires. When I checked out I explained to the tech my complaint, and he said that it took so long because someone had to go get another. That was a lie because I saw them put my car on the lift within an hour of it being at the shop and on the lift for two more hours. Not only that there was no courtesy to me the customer to say that this is going to take longer than we initially expected. And there was no real apology. I will never buy tires again from Firestone. Don't come here, unless you want to be waiting all day for even the most minor of repairs. Made an appointment for 11 and didn't even speak to anyone until 11:45. They might as well remove the appointment option because it's just a suggestion. I'm not upset I had to wait, that's a given. What's upsetting is that you get no updates as to what going on unless you bug them about it, and your appointment time is disregarded and you will be waiting for however long they deem necessary. Either get rid of the appointment option or lessen the amount of cars you take in at a time. Because whatever is happening ain't working. Do not expect reasonable anything from here. read more

Went to Firestone for a simple oil change - they drained the old oil and DID NOT put any oil back in my car. Weeks later this was discovered by me. Took the car back to Firestone and my car has never been seen again. It was stolen from their parking lot after so-called repairs. They didn't even call us to say the repairs were completed if they ever were which is supposed to be their policy. Put in a claim at the corporate office and the claim was denied. Looked like a green wire fence post you can get at the Home Depot, it has little hooks hanging out. Anyway, I got two flat tires and nearly died in a car accident. They were given $2000 to fix brakes and replace calibers not even two months later, the calibers failed nearly killing me in an accident. Just happen to be reading some of the reviews @ the Firestone on Liberty Road. I have to admit, I do not frequent this location of Firestone on a regular basis, even though they are the closest to my home. I went on Sunday, 12/10/2023, I was aware this location is in the process of having the Customer Waiting area renovated, so I was understandable about not having anywhere to wait on the premises. Because the weather was very rainy, and they were doing me a favor to repair my tire, I just went to the adjacent Burger King, and waited until they were finished. I said all that to say, the young man that fixed my "slow leak" was professional, as well as the Manager on Duty, Mr. Andre Coleman. It was explained to me that I would need to invest in a new tire, because the tire was on its last leg. Mr. Coleman did not have a Tire for my vehicle, in stock but indicated he would call around, & get me a tire. He did not commit to a time, or date, but would reach out when the Tire arrives. In short, I'm going to commend this location, w/a 5 Star Rating, because I was in need, and they did deliver. read more

I went to fire stone at the referral of my warranty company. I had to get an engine ignition coil replaced, which is what the warranty company company will pay for. However, when I went there and had a diagnostic fire stone came up with a list of things and told me that they would not complete, the engine ignition coil replacement unless I had a $2000 tuneup. Actually was more than $2000. Needless to say I did not visit them. I took my Mercedes to a Mercedes dealer they said that if they found anything else wrong with the car and the only thing I want it fixed was the ignition coil they would only do that. The Mercedes dealer found something wrong with a leak which was covered by the warranty company, however, fire stone never presented that problem to the warranty company. Fire stone was interested in only trying to get money out of me. Do not use fire stone if you need me to work done. read more

The staff was punishing me for complaining about our poor treatment and telling us we should be happy because we got a discount in our original pricing Today less than 24 hours later I was driving my car with the four newly installed tires and my rear tire blew and I almost crashed that fear that shot through me and her is indescribable. When I called back to the liberty road Firestone the manager Chris was super rude again. They told me to have the car towed from the other side of town to their shop after I told them I did not feel safe putting on a spare and driving across town. When I looked at the tires I could see they were not properly on the rims. Once we got the car to Firestone the manager refused to pay for the tow and I had to pay 300 dollars. Now the manager is saying he needs to investigate but he is also saying that the other three tires have low air how is it possible to have one exploded tire and low air in three other tires in less than 24 hrs until it was done wrong. I have two witnesses Ayo all that I am saying who spent over 4 hrs yesterday and more than 3 hours and counting today They punish you by making you wait hours so you are inconvenienced. The Firestone on Liberty Road is a waste of time. They put on 3 new tires on my van, but one of them was defective. I took it back and they balanced it and told me it was ok. It was not. I took it back- after having to to take time off without pay- on a Wednesday morning at 8 AM and was asked if I had an appointment. I told him this was an emergency because of their defective product, but he told me I can only have it looked at the following Monday. How do I get to work? This is gross inconsideration. This new crop of recruits made me- a customer for over 5 years and 2 vehicles- have to stop doing business with this store and go elsewhere. I went to a different location last summer for brake work.. I returned to that location twice after the summer work, but my problem continued. I choice this liberty rd location because it's closer to my home and I lost faith that the people at the previous location could fix my problem. While everyone was polite and courteous, I was annoyed that I had an 8am appointment but left at 2pm.. I wanted the work done correctly; however, I would have liked to have been told it would take 6 hrs, so that I could rearrange my day or arrange other transportation.. It was my fault as well for not asking how long it would take. Nonetheless, I still have the same issue and at this point I don't believe any firestone will fix the problem that started after the initial work they did. read more

This place is awful and very unorganized. The right doesn't know what the left hand is doing. In addition the manager arren IS NOT a man of his word. I had an issue he said he would look into it and call me back. It took for me to call back 3 times to discuss my issue. Up until the last time I called it was excuse after excuse before i spoke with him. In addition the day my incident happened, there was another person there who dropped his car off at 4pm for oil change, they had just put his car on the lift at 645pm. They never called the guy to tell him they were running behind so I couldn't blame the guy for being upset. Don't waste your time or money here. Store #13773 Windsor Mill Maryland under the management of David Lewis. Mr. Lewis was very pushy and impolite to me on Thursday, December 21, 2017. On Tuesday, 12/19/2012 I came into the store to confirm an appointment I made online and to get an estimation on what it would cost to replace windshield wipers, oil change, and tire rotation and to repair a blow daytime running light bulb. Melvin waited on me and told me that it will all cost $158. Thursday morning, I arrive at Firestone a 7:45 am. Mr. Lewis greeted me by my last name coming into the door which a made me feel like he was expecting me and ready to satisfy me as a customer. About 30 mins past and he called me up to the counter to talk to me about a tire that he felt needed attention and I refuse because I told him that I will take it to the dealer and let them do it because my car is still under warranty for the tires. As this wasn't enough, he went back into the garage and started rolling the tire to me so that I can visually see it. He told me it was separated but I could not see that. I told him ok, but I cannot replace that today. Mr. David Lewis than became irate raising his voice telling me "Well I will not be rotating these tires and then he said by the way you do not have any lights out. I said to him that I have a State of MD repair order to get it fix. He repeatedly states I do not. And his attitude became more irate, so I asked to speak to the manager not knowing he was the manager, Mr. Lewis refuses to give me his name. So I walk away and call customer service for Firestone. After speaking to Charpel from customer, REF #2284240. She gave me the area manager name Scott and stated he would call me within 48 hours. However, Mr. Lewis, the whole time I was on the phone repeatedly called my name and then came over to me wanting to know what he has done to me. HIs persistence and change in his voice and customer service skills made me distrust him and I felt very uncomfortable. I told him I was on the phone talking to customer service and when I finish I will come to the counter to talk to him. Other customers in the waiting area were upset along with me about his arrogance and his overbearing manner. I later went over to Mr. Lewis and say Yes, he said after almost two hours that he had to order wiper blades from advance auto because they do not have the one I need. And that now I do have a bulb out. Mr. Lewis still harping on a tire, he began to start at me again about it. I left and went to the 7-11 next to Firestone and Scott the Area Manager called me. I explain to Scott what happens and share with I just want my car. And he told me that he would call him to tell him to give me my car. When I return. Mr. Lewis told me that it would take an additional hour to 2 hours to replace the bulb I needed to be fixed. I told him that I couldn't wait any longer for that. He then kept asking me what did he do? What did he do? I didn't even reply. He wants to do everything for me free, even give me two tires. Scott told me that my tires were recalled. Mr. Lewis never told me one time even after I spoke to Scott that my tires were recalled. I then call the dealer Heritage Subaru and Volkswagen and was told that as per my last visit to them which was 12/02/2017 none of my tires was recalled and that they don't have me listed on records as to having any Firestone tires, and that I should have all the same tires on the car when I purchased it. Mr. Lewis refuses to give me a bill and let me pay for the oil change. After, I told him that I wanted my car and a bill Mr. Lewis than wanted to charge me $46 for one wiper.
