Nick at First Call was responsive. His work seemed good, but he wasn't the primary electrician. His workers did most of the work and are learning interns at best which is scary when dealing with electrical work. They are messy and don't clean up after themselves. We have lighting flickers and surges from the work that they completed that was not present before they came. I would not recommend. read more

Working with Nick was super convenient. He was literally at my house checking out my AC within 12 hours of requesting a quote. I called because my thermostat was blowing warm air while it was supposed to be cooling the house. He ran diagnostics on everything, was SUPER thorough, leaving no stone unturned, and at the end of it, confirmed that it was my Nest thermostat that was the issue. He could have easily assumed that it was the Nest but he confirmed that all the wires were working, that the blower control panel was functioning, and that the heat pump outside was cooling. A few days later and I received a replacement for my thermostat, and there you go, my AC was working again. He was booked up for a few weeks out but offered to come by on a Sunday morning to hang a ceiling fan and fix a broken light switch for us. Super nice guy. Nick (the owner of First Call Electric) came out to my home today to install a new and much needed light on my back deck. He was awesome! He was great to communicate with, showed up on time, did a great job for me, and was friendly and professional. I have an older home (built in 1950) and it can be quirky. Installing the light on my back deck ended up being more complex and complicated than it would have normally been due to some strange construction inside my walls but Nick tackled the project like a pro and was determined to make it work so that I could have my light and the new switch where I wanted them. He quite obviously cared a great deal about the quality of his workmanship and he cared about my home which meant a lot to me. He was very fairly priced and was patient when my strange home caused the job to require extra effort. Nick went above and beyond by modifying a part I purchased from Lowes so that it would work for the job and be aesthetically pleasing. I will be using him again in the near future for some other work I need to have done and would highly recommend him to anybody - he really is fantastic.
