The range of what he has handled for me covers about everything a house can throw at you. He's installed a new toilet, rebuilt the water main coming into the house, and tracked down a shower leak that was getting into the wall. He diagnosed a failing pressure reducing valve based on nothing more than a humming noise at one of my sinks. He's also put in new hose bibs and shut off valves, replaced rusted and failing parts in my shower, upgraded bathroom faucet hardware, sorted out water heater issues, and swapped my old tub spouts for spring loaded ones I did not even know existed. That last one is a good example of why I keep calling him. He recommends the brands he is willing to put in his own home and tells you plainly what to stay away from, so you end up with something that lasts instead of whatever was closest on the truck. More than once he has pointed out something that would have shortened the life of my pipes, so I've been able to head off problems instead of only fixing them after they start. The parts he uses are high quality and his prices have always been reasonable. He is also easy to work with from start to finish. He always gets back to you, gives a two-hour arrival window rather than a vague half day, and shows up inside it. He was even at my house in 20 minutes once when I had an emergency. He cleans up so thoroughly when he finishes that you wouldn't know anyone had been there (aside from the shiny new parts). On top of all that, he is friendly and honest, and he doesn't try to sell you work you don't need. I've been recommending him for a while now, and I will keep doing it. I contacted another backflow company to conduct our yearly fire sprinkler backflow test and that's…read morewhen all the problems started. The technician said it failed inspection because of a leak. So, he told me that he needed to order a gasket repair kit and clean out the valves and gave me an estimate. But even after the replacement, it still kept leaking. So, then he said that it maybe a faulty check valve or "something more" and therefore, the safest alternative was to replace the entire assembly, which would've cost around $8,000+. So, I prayed and then started looking around for a 2nd opinion. That's when I found Dave. Dave came out to the site and did see that the backflow valve was leaking. He called me, gave me an estimate (which I thought was very reasonable) and took the backflow assembly apart. In less than 30 minutes, he examined both check valves and realized that there was nothing wrong with them. The problem was that one of the valves wasn't tightened properly and that was causing the leakage. He also commented that in his 20 years of testing and repairing backflow valves, he's never seen a valve this loose before. After tightening everything, it passed inspection immediately! Dave is the man! He is honest and very knowledgeable. He literally knows backflow assemblies inside-out and is my go-to guy for all backflow related issues.

Our small HOA recently had our backflow valves tested for 2025 by the company we had used for…read moreyears. We had a problem with one of the valves last year and had it replaced to the tune of $850. Imagine our surprise when we got the results of this year's testing and the same valve failed again and, once again, needed to be replaced. After multiple attempts to speak with the company, we finally got an email saying that those valves are not very sturdy and the AZ heat causes them to fail routinely. Since the valve was less than a year old, that didn't make sense to us, so we decided to bring in another company for a second opinion. That was when we found F6 Backflow Services. We spoke to Dave, the owner, on the phone and explained our situation. He said it sounded "off" to him, too, so we made arrangements for him to come out, take a look at it, and see what he could do. He came out the next day and did some clean-up of the housing - and a couple of other things that I admittedly didn't understand.
