We hired him to move us from Boerne several months ago and the whole experience was a disaster! We had to move our things into storage units before we were able to move into our new home. We hired Boerne's Strongest Movers to pack our home into several storage units. He double booked us while "packing" the house, so he was not present as he said he would be. And his "crew" consisting of 2 well meaning but totally untrained and unprepared young ladies who succeeded in packing everything so poorly, the damage was unimaginable, broken pieces everywhere. Then his moving crew who could not legally drive the rented UHaul trucks and trailers that he rents (he does not own his own trucks), proceeded to throw our things into the trucks, then into the storage units in such a haphazard fashion, we had to undergo more breakage there. And that, on the things that made the trip, multiple items did not even show up at the new location, most notably 2 twin box spring foundations, kitchen knives, silverware, cutting boards, baking pans, children's outdoor play equipment, antique stand, and other personal items. So use him at your own risk! If you have anything of real value, it is in real danger!

We were very grateful for our handyman and his crew who were there assisting us and to witness this teams vulgar remarks about my mothers undergarments, amongst other innoproprient commentaries about certain art and furniture. Plus, they left a lot there at the old house that we had to go back and try our best to pick up ourselves. Which was VERY difficult. Our family is STILL finding items that were handled in the worst care possible. A multitude of thousands of dollars in damages, and they could only give us back $50, and yet we still haven't seen that $50 dollars yet. Broken furniture, heavy objects stacked on electronics, handpainted paintings that were stuffed with other heavy wall decor and paintings with little to no cushioning. Boxes that were marked with two syllables or less, if any at all. Completely shattered family heirlooms dating back from the 1920s and before from our church and blood relatives from both sides. Hand-made gifts from our loved ones who are no longer with us that can NEVER be replaced. We do not recommend this company at all to anyone.

That was the last contact I ever had from them. No callback, no explanation, no movers, just total silence. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. You can't run a service business, confirm a job, then fail to show up or even communicate on the day it's supposed to happen. It's not complicated. It's literally the bare minimum of showing up for a labor job, and they couldn't manage that. Thankfully, Veterans Movers saved the situation at the last minute. I reached out in a bind, explained what happened, and they responded quickly and professionally. They arrived on time, handled the move efficiently, took good care of my belongings, and charged fairly without any surprises. They turned a potential disaster into a smooth, stress-free experience.
