We had our gutters installed during the summer but I wanted to wait until we had a good rain before I wrote this review. Our home did not have gutters when we move in a few years ago. We wanted to get several rain barrels for the front and a cistern (265 gallons) for the backyard. The gutters were installed; the downspout in the back ends at the top of the cistern. Last year when we had heavy rains, we had several inches of water that pooled up in the front patio and near our front steps. I emailed a few gutter installation companies and First Choice Raingutters was the most responsive by far (one company never bothered to email back and the other one sent a guy out for a quote that I never got). I'm very happy that First Choice was the only one that called me back though, because Marcelino was a pleasure to work with when he came by to measure my roof line for the quote, and he was very thorough in inspecting which areas to put downspouts to make sure that the water drains toward the street. Juniper St. After closing on the building, we got some rain and realized that the gutters had several areas that were leaking and their were parts of the building that needed gutters that did not have them. I actually had my gutters installed in September but prefer to review a product after I've actually used it. In this case, last weekend was the first significant rainfall and the gutters performed as expected. Going back to the removal/installation process. First Choice agreed to do the the job in two phases and did not charge me until the entire job was completed. They came to my house prior to me having it painted and removed the gutters. We then scheduled an install for some time after the painting was completed. When they returned to do the install, they were professional and receptive to a couple of last minute changes I had asked for including adding gutters to both sides of my shed.
