I took my car in for an insurance claim. They repainted the entire driver side of my vehicle. I get my car back and the tint for my driver side door is scratched up bad. I tell the manager and he says to get an estimate and he'll take care of it. I get an estimate but to match the other side, i have to redo both windows. I do and give him the receipt and he tells me that he was only going to replace the driver side since he can get the tints for much less. We compromise and he pays me 100 cash to settle the whole thing. That's one part of the issue. Before that, the guy putting on my door left a leak or something where when you drive you can here wind blowing through. We took it for a test drive and the mechanic confirmed it. Cool guy btw. They take care of it and I notice the molding on the driver side has all these screwdriver dents on it. They order the part and when I come to replace it, they ordered the wrong part. They ordered a part they already replaced. Ok. Reasonable mistake. No problem. They get the new part and install it and that's when I noticed the tint scratched. This all happened close to a year ago. I'm remembering bits and pieces. So why am I mentioning it now? I just noticed my door handle molding is also all messed up. Argggghhh. They are nice people but some of their mechanics are screwing things up. The manager was right. my car was bad luck to them since something always happened after a visit. It might be my luck. I am reluctant to go back to get more work done since every time we do, something else happens. Nice guys. Yes. I thought the tint settlement sucked but I accepted it. But to have this many mistakes or damages to my vehicle, someone needs to be retrained in that garage. Thus the 1 star. Not confident in taking my vehicle back there unless I stood over them to watch what they do the entire time but that wont happen since I'm pretty sure their insurance would not allow customers to be in a hazardous area. Totally get that. Let's just say my total amount of trips there is 5 for a first time visit. Update 070615-WOW!Oscar reply today is "Thank you for posting this bogus, fake review, we have flagged it for removal and we hope Yelp removes it quickly." Sounds like a real professional response considering there is nothing fake about my review. So based on his response I take back what I said about nice guys. They are not. I was wrong. So basically their way of getting 5 star reviews is to flag bad reviews. I'll be writing to yelp about that since it obviously defeats the purpose of yelp if they flag all the bad reviews. read more

Went to First Class because I was referred by my insurance company. Oscar was great in getting the estimate, working with my insurance company, arranging rental car, and by the way fixing my truck so I could not tell I was in an accident. The paint match is super. I could not see any difference even under mercury vapor lights. Then nine years later, I am rear ended and return to First Class, and Oscar remembers my name, my daughters name (he fixed her car also). Again the fixes were superior. Unfortunately I had to go to a Body shop. It's always unfortunate when you have to go to a body shop for your car. :-( I did not have a local body shop to use. My insurance recommended I go there. I have never seen such a clean body shop, they were working on cars and it was spotless. I am very picky when it comes to my car (yes you can say it "clean freak")...I felt a sense of pride going in there. Talked to the owners the drop off took a matter of minutes. I got back to work logged on to my email and what do I see? The body shop had already emailed me and from that moment on I got emails with the status of my truck and believe it or not PHOTOS. I have never ever been to a body shop that first of all updated me automatically (without having to call them a million times) and uploaded photos.
