This is my second time visiting Oscar Caruso at First Class Auto Body Shop. I stopped by and told Oscar after getting my car washed the fog light on my BMW got disconnected. He took the time and told me you don't need to jack up the car just need philips screw driver to open the bottom flap. I was surprised that he fixed it so fast and now everything is working fine. Horrible customer service! I brought my vehicle to be serviced after a break in. Despite the exterior of the vehicle having been fixed perfectly. The manual locking mechanism was never fixed,which is something they were completely aware of. Unfortunately I had to call and bring my car in for the second time. Once a solution was found, Oscar had told me he would be able to fix it next Monday July 3rd. I called Monday morning, only to find out the business was closed for holiday ( he forgot to mention that). Again I waited for a phone call as the days went by, but to no avail. Finally I grew tired of waiting on them and called Tuesday morning July 11th. They agreed to have my vehicle fixed the same day. So once I arrived I spoke with Oscar again questioning why after 2 weeks no one had followed-up. Oscar went on the defensive showing no empathy or customer service skills. He flipped the story saying a conversation was had about me coming in on that Monday July the third. And I told him I tried calling, only find out it was closed, he quickly changed his story to put the blame on myself, and stated he had told me they would be closed for the holiday. I didn't want to continue the argument as I was not alone. And just gestured I had nothing else to say. He continued to put the blame on me for not following up. I truly was at a loss of words as no apology was ever offered. Their vehicle work is great, but you truly have to monitor the work to ensure your getting a complete fix as they are careless, and over see some of the work. Warning! Oscar is a stand up dude. I sent a yelp request about getting my car polished up. He responded via yelp and we went from there. I live a stone throw from the shop so I thought I would give them a shot, and they hooked me up! my car looks rally good now. They brought out the color of the car probably better than factory. It looks like a totally different car now. If I ever need there collision help, knock on wood, there is no doubt they would be my first call. My husband picked this place through our car insurance when our car's bumper and lights were a victim of a hit and run. When the car was first ready to get picked up, I noticed the new bumper was a little crooked. We told Oscar about it and they fixed it the same day. We also had concerns that the bumpers edges weren't as smooth as the original bumper, and Oscar said he would order another bumper to see if that one would be better. Well Oscar kept his word and did get us another bumper and the car looks great. I'm sad that its not the original bumper, but I am glad that Oscar made sure that we were satisfied with the end result. Thanks Oscar! TOP NOTCH SERVICE! First Class Auto Body does excellent work and they really know how to treat their customers. I was referred to this shop by a co-worker. I'm actually from Orange County, but I worked in the South Bay so I wanted to find a shop close by so I wouldn't have to miss work. Boy am I glad I decided to go to First Class. The reason I needed to go to a body shop in the first place was because somebody hit my parked car in a parking lot. I was hesitant to take it in for repairs because I thought I would have to pay out of pocket since it was basically a hit and run. I explained my situation to the Office Manager, Oscar, over the phone before taking my car in. He gave me some good advice and I was luckily able to get my repairs covered through my insurance. There was absolutely nothing out of pocket. My whole experience with First Class was superb from the moment I dropped off my car to the moment I picked it up. I took my car in to First Class Auto Body because my lease is up and I have a few scratches on my car that I wanted to get taken care of. I met with Oscar and immediately wanted to be his BFF. I came in to the body shop looking for an estimate to fix a scratch on the rear of my car. I had gone to another shop and they had told me it would be about $350 to take the back bumper off and fix it. However, Carlos was very honest and took it off right there and then! First Class was the lowest quote, and they had good reviews I decided to give them a shot. Brought my Mercedes 500G wagon into First Class Auto Body. Had a broken front seatbelt. They said it would take about a week to fix. Ended up being almost a month. When I got it back they had lost a knob on my dashboard. I pointed it out to them and they promised to get me a new one. STILL WAITING. I have called them 5 times, nicely, over 7 weeks. Finally the management got angry at ME for continuing to call. Their final recommendation was to go to the Mercedes dealership and get it there. You know when you can tell your getting the run around? Well, this is that kind of shop. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Never mind they quoted my job at 485.00 and when I went to pick up my car it was 830.00. Very frustrated and know if I want my dashboard to have the knob they lost I will have to go buy one at Mercedes. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Gina Q. read more
