I went to another smog place literally around the corner from my brothers house "Smog Check Pros of Buena Park" and they said they were open at 9AM.. called twice (no answer) and finally got sick of waiting until 10AM. So I went here based off of the reviews. I was literally in and out of there in 10 minutes max. He provided my wife and I some chairs to sit on while he ran the tests. We were in and out of there within 15 minutes! Super quick, convenient, and affordable. It's located on the right side of the auto shop where the big smog check sign is. I called in before going to check if there was a wait and he told me he had two other customers in line, but it wouldn't take too long. The smog check itself takes only like 15 minutes per car. The guy was friendly and had a smile on his face even though he was clearly busy. I showed him my Groupon deal which was $28 and he took the code. I did have to pay for the state certificate fee and subtotal labor which came out to a total of $13. He gave me his business card and said he would honor the Groupon price upon return with another vehicle. read more

I recently paid for my registration renewal and missed the notice to have my car smogged. First class was the closest smog shop near me and with 5 stars I made plans to go the following day without an appointment. If you're on a budget.....Great service, fast, but beware- if you have a Groupon coupon and paid $28, youll have a cost of $13 additional dollars to pay upfront for a printed certificate on plain printer paper and the transfer fee online. Not mentioned anywhere! You only find this out when you show up. So to avoid traveling fees, just pay the $40 at your local smog shop. read more

Although the business is unassuming and hard to distinguish from the repair shop it's attached to, the owner/operator (George) is friendly and did a great job. So when we came in, we didn't realize that we needed to make an appt. however, The staff was able to squeeze us in. Just make sure you make an appointment. Just did my smog today needed it to complete the transfer of ownership because I bought a new car. And the guy working there is great. Made me feel good. Took the time to give me a chair to sit while I waited. What I paid for the smog check was what I'd pay anywhere else but first time I received good customer service for getting my smog.
