I just called to cancel because I'm being admitted unexpectedly (7 months pregnant) and the guy was sooo rude when I asked would it be refunded. This is a scam. Dante has never successfully cleaned a carpet I'm sure of. He sprayed my carpet with a soliution and went over it once and said he was done. I was initially quoted $40 unless I had pets or it was unusually dirty over the phone then Dante quoted me $100 and settled for $60 and a 5 star review. My carpet is still dirty, going over the carpet once and getting some dirty water doesn't constitute cleaning. Complete Sham. read more

We are writing from a reputable property management company that has been in business for over 22 years. The first impression that was left after an initial estimate period with "First Impressions Carpet Cleaning" was highly unfavorable & unprofessional. 1 week ago our company called "First Impressions Carpet Cleaning" for pricing information on a standard carpet cleaning service for our clients rental home that we manage. The "minimum standard" would put the service cost in a range of $185-$200, which is fair for what simple service was required. The carpet is in good condition. We were simply booking a sanitary service as a gesture for the new tenants. The "On Site" quote was booked for the following week where the job could be assessed in person by a technician and we could move forward same day seeing that we still agreed to the in person on site quote. First Impressions Carpet Cleaning took a $100.00 deposit that was explained to go towards "the service cost" at no point was it understood, agreed upon or documented that this was a non refundable deposit if we decline the quote. The technician arrived as scheduled, the total amount of time the technician spent on site for the quote was under the 10 minute mark. The technician provided a quote that was 3x the amount of the "standard minimum" pricing initially provided over the phone. We politely declined their service as the shocking, unexplained $600 on site quote could not be justified by our clients & seemed overtly deceitful. As mentioned this entire occurrence was all of 10 minutes. After declining the on site quote First Impressions was called, to request a refund for the unknowingly, "non refundable" $100.00 deposit - as we were not moving forward with their service. We were told by the representative in no way that was going to happen. Non refundable costs of any kind require 1. transparent representation 2. a signed document of agreement provided by the business, to the prospective client to make it crystal clear, that is the business's policy. Otherwise you are just wrongfully taking said clients money. No representation or documentation was provided. Having someone show up to an "estimate" for 10 minutes of time & charging an uncommunicated non refundable $100.00 fee is ill practice. The verbiage was not forthcoming - this was in all actuality an "on site estimate fee". An additional follow up call was made with the representative to see if there were any sensible solutions that could be accommodated, like offering our company a refund on the unused deposit. After attempting to charge $100.00 for an unpricipaled and disingenuous "service" our company wanted First Impressions to have an opportunity to mend the situation before leaving a negative review of their business - to which we were told "was a threat & disrespectful to hold over their head" and still were issued no return on our deposit. On behalf of our clients, our company simply tried to reach a resonable common ground for an unreasonable business practice. All in all our company, morally, could not recommend prospective clients to utilize the services of "First Impressions Carpet Cleaning"   We would encourage First Impressions Carpet Cleaning to start utilizing the appropriate documentation & representation for non refundable service fees. read more

Was fishing around for good carpet cleaning. Called & couldn't get through so decided to go onto the next best one on the Yelp list. Within 10 minutes, a lady called back saying they missed a call from my number and wanted to see if I wanted their service. I was pleasantly surprised that a business would call back to a missed call. Happily agreed to have them come give an estimate. Scheduled for a date and time that was preferable to my work schedule. Kevin showed up, gave an estimate and spoke intelligently briefly about his services. At the time, I didn't have disposable cash to play with, so I didn't set up the cleaning service. Fast forward seven months later and having saved up money, finally called them back to set up carpet cleaning. Even though Kevin was slightly late for our appt, I was really happy to see that the steps he took to deep clean my living room carpet was meticulous and thorough. Soon after the spray solution sank in & he started scrubbing the carpet, I could already see what a difference it made without even using his machine. I've been using First Impressions for over 5 or so years now to clean my white carpets. I live in a 4 bedroom house with wall to wall white carpet...(I know, who does that?) It's important that I have a service that is able to keep the integrity of the color and the fluffiness of my carpets. This last time, the owner noticed I had also purchased a white linen sofa (again, I know - who does that?) and we asked if I also wanted it cleaned. I hadn't realized that it needed it but it looked brand new when he was done. I appreciate how respectful, polite, and patient these folks were. It was easy to schedule them to come out for an estimate and then schedule the cleaning. They can do both at the same time, but I had a last minute issue come up that I needed to deal with and couldn't do the service the same day. And let me tell you, these people are so on time that they are early. They help you move small stuff like a nightstand, but not the big items like beds and dressers.
