This is the first time I've visited in person (one day after their fabulous Stationery Fest 2026). The main store was smaller than I expected but I didn't feel too cramped and was able to browse leisurely (I visited on a Sunday morning a little after 10am).

There isn't any A/C, but the lights are dim, and the staff is incredibly friendly. A Lleuchtturm1917 journal fan myself, I had searched the area for a local store that would be a joy to look around in addition to finding this particular item. This establishment didn't disappoint, and I loved looking around at the various tchotchkes galore, including various cards, beautiful wrapping paper, and assorted Japanese stickers. There's also a glorious wall of pens you can test before purchase in the back. We had a wonderful conversation with the store clerk about dining in the area after our purchase. Honestly, she was such a gem of a human being. This is the side of New York that people love. Highly recommend to all my penmanship, bujo people out there.

Overall, there is a really big selection and there were lots of people shopping while we were there. Service was good; the registers are located downstairs and they have lots of cute items + point of purchase displays. I was overstimulated by the time we reached the register but that may just have been because it had been a long day.
