I called several insulators here in Las Vegas and First Quality was the only one that actually came out and climbed into my attic to get an accurate assessment of what was needed. The other companies just go by square footage and satellite pictures which is hit and miss especially if you have vaulted sections that do not have space above. Since the other companies did not do an onsite visit they missed quoting me roof vents as my house only has 2 gable end vents installed so my attic was not venting properly. David S. was very friendly and knowledgeable, he was not only the estimator but the actual installer as well so its nice to know you will get exactly what you were quoted. I wanted the blown in insulation to top off my existing batt to increase the R value of my homes attic as another energy saving and comfort measure after having a new A/C system installed. When David S. arrived the day of the installation he started with the 2 O'Hagin S type roof vents that look like Spanish tiles and blend in with the roof very nicely. Once the roof vents were completed David was headed up into the attic when he noticed that the main duct line feeding my upstairs vents was disconnected and blowing cold air into my attic. I assume that after I had my A/C system changed out last month that the higher pressure from the increased airflow of the new furnace blower made the already loose duct completely separate. David confirmed this when he noted that whomever installed it used duct tape instead of proper airduct tape (duct tape is not for airducts). David went above and beyond and reconnected the duct line for me and taped/strapped it correctly which instantly restored the airflow to my upstairs. Now my new A/C system is working efficiently and it is now cycling off in 15 minutes instead of 35 to 45 minutes which is going to save big on my power bill, not to mention not having to get an HVAC company to come out. After the duct was handled David and Max ran the insulation hose through my upstairs window closest to the attic access and began blowing in the new insulation. The entire visit only took a few hours and David was great at taking photos so I could see the completed job. David and Max then added a nice piece of insulation to the back of my attic access panel and closed up the access and began cleaning up/vacuuming the work areas. There are only a few insulation companies in Vegas. After getting multiple quotes, we decided to go with First Quality for our radiant barrier and adding insulation in our attic. The home builder left certain areas with empty space or only 3" of insulation which not even to code. David Solis and his crew were quite helpful and only 1 of 3 companies that give free in-home evaluation and estimate. Everyone that quoted me over the phone was axed at the end of the call. We received before and after photos and what huge difference. No more cold drafts in the winter and significantly hotter areas in the summer. Their gas generator exhaust blew into our house that set off all of our smoke/carbon monoxide alarms on a rainy/windy day for the radiant barrier. It wasn't their fault but was a hassle to open up all windows to air out. They returned for a second day to add more blown-in insulation that is even throughout the attic space like a blanket. The original home builder should have done this to begin with. I would highly recommend them to anyone for roofing/insulation. read more

On 4/5/23 I received 2 estimates, one for roof leaks/repairs and the other for drywall/stucco repairs. Robert and Eduardo were very professional and that is the only positive experience with this company as to date (6/12/23), no one returns my multiple calls and emails (from 4/17/23) to move forward with their proposals. My insurance company (American Home Shield) also reached out to no avail. This company must make more money providing estimates (mind you they traveled from Las Vegas to Pahrump, individually not together) than to actually contract work. I had used First Quality roofing in 2020 on my roof. We knew we had a leak due to the stain on the living room ceiling. Our house is 21 years old and my husband an I are diligent in looking at the ceilings for leaks. So fortunatley there was no damage to the wood structure. The roofer came out to find where the problem was. He took pictures of where the issue was and also the broken tiles that needed to be replace. Fast foward to 2021 and we had several rain storms and there are no stains to our ceiling (we had to touch up the ceiling). They did a great job that we called them for my mother's roof. We had a leak in the roof for the recent rains. Found this company on google with great reviews. Made contact and they came out two days later for an estimate. Was able to speak to Angel about what he saw and thought about different options. Received quote same day, which was reasonable. Was able to schedule work the following week. The crew was supposed to come at 11AM and had to follow-up about why they were late. However, they arrived at 1PM and was done before 3PM. Easy transaction. Waiting to get photos, but would consider using them again. Responded to request for photos and job looks great. read more

Do not fall for their 10-year guarantee scam. My roof has leaked three times since it was "replaced" in 2018; the first time was 18 months after the roof was allegedly replaced. This past August water poured through my ceiling and ruined a cowhide rug. They will not return my call. I am having to sue them in small claims and have filed with the NV state contractors board. I had noticed that my attic insulation was lacking in places so decided to get some quotes for adding additional insulation. The first company quoted an amount and did not even look at the job. I didn't really feel comfortable with the second quote and then I called First Quality. Billy came out and climbed into the attic and gave me a quote within 24 hours. His quote was the middle quote, but I felt comfortable. First Quality workers showed up a little early and went to work. At the end of the day I was told that there was no insulation over my guest bedroom or bathroom, but they had taken care of it. While they were outside, I climbed the ladder to see for myself - I had to ask how they could have gotten to that part of the house because the roof line came almost to the floor - they said that they basically had to crawl on their belly to get there. We had a repair done back in March on a leaking roof. They charged over $1,200.00 to fix. They did not fix the problem. 3 weeks ago it rained and the same issue took place. I had to call 3 times before getting anyone to get back to me. Finally they gave me the tech's direct phone number which he was upset they did. Started a home renovation project with the first item being a garage to home gym conversion. I have two outside facing walls along with a ceiling that needed to be insulated. Angel came by and was very knowledgeable about what I needed to do. His quote was also 100% accurate as to what I eventually paid for the job. Very professional, which is something I really appreciate. The two guys who came out to actually do the work were awesome and got the job done cleanly and efficiently. I just told them what needed to be done and they took care of the rest. The only reason I had to knock off a star is because of what everyone else either alludes to or outright says - scheduling the work. Getting the quote was actually done super quick, but you do have to follow up with the work order/scheduling to make sure it gets done within a reasonable amount of time. After almost a year after getting an initial quote from them I called to finally schedule our roof repair. They upheld their initial quote (which was half of what other companies had quoted me), had me scheduled for less than a week later, came out within the time frame they said they would and had the job completed in less than 30 minutes. Our 20+ year old house developed a small leak during all of the rain we've been having this winter, so I called a few roofers and this company was the first to respond. I am so glad they did! I spoke to them on a Monday, a technician--Angel--was out the following Saturday, assessed my situation, gave me a "this will patch your problem" estimate and a "this will permanently fix the problem and ensure it doesn't return" estimate and answered all of my questions professionally. He took photos on my roof to show me the issues and explained what the options were. We signed the contract for the bigger repair and I was contacted the following Monday to set an appointment for the next Thursday. The technician who came to do the repair, Vidal, arrived on time and got right to work. The entire job was completed expeditiously and Vidal could not have been nicer. There was no upsell, the amount I paid was exactly what I was quoted (which I have been told by many was a great price for what I had done), and every person to whom I spoke who is affiliated with this company was delightful. First Quality Roofing quickly responded to my request for a quote. Their rep, Jake, showed up as scheduled and offered me a quote in a timely manner. He is a very impressive young man. I signed a contract electronically and soon after got a call to schedule the work. The installation crew showed up early (I'm about an hour's drive out of Las Vegas), and immediately set to work. By the time I got back to my house around 4 PM they were cleaning up the work site, including using a rolling magnet to pick up misc staples and nails, and a blower to clean up sidewalks and porch surfaces that had fallen asphalt from the removal process. The new roof looks beautiful! There is about 1/2" of rain and high winds forecast tomorrow so I will immediately know how intact the new roof is. We have had First Quality Roofing do 3 roofs so far, even got Solar through them. We have been very happy with them which is why we have been a repeat customer. Fair price and they were very helpful and got to it pretty quickly. I did have one issue with the roof turbines which I called about immediately. They seemed to wobble a bit compared to before. I called to ask them about it and was told they just do that. They didn't prior to them replacing the roof so why now? Anyway, COVID hit and I wasn't outside much when it was windy but, when I finally did, I heard one of them knocking each time it went around which is very annoying when in our backyard. I guess from the recent wind here in the valley, IT CAME OFF! I called them to see about fixing it and it feels like they are trying to fight it. I didn't get the typical... We will be right out to fix it which is what I was hoping would happen especially considering I've already called them and informed them about them being bent. One of their guys just came and took a look at it and said he will talk to his manager. We have spent over $25,000 with this company not including solar. I Will revise this review once I know if they are or not going to replace it. It's not the cost of the turbine but the principle of the matter. UPDATE!!! I had an estimate from a different company several weeks before First Quality and that company wanted to charge us $500 more to do the work. I'm glad we went with First Quality, not only because of the money we saved, but also because of their quick response. I had this company replace my tile roof with shingles back in early December. I wanted to wait until the first rain to really review them because that's a true measure of how well a roofing job was done. Honestly, I should have guessed what was going to happen based on the poor quality of work when they first did the replacement. I had between 6-8 major issues with the job and it wasn't until the owner actually came out and looked at them that they were properly addressed. Fast forward to this past Thursday when we had our first significant rain since the completion of the job. Water was pouring in down the wall over our patio door. I called and they sent out Vidal on Friday. Now, Vidal was the foreman that was SUPPOSED to be on the job in December, but was in Mexico at that time instead. He said they did the work correctly and it would not be warrantied. How does he even know?! He want even around. I told him I wanted to speak to the owner only as he is the only based on previous experience. It's now Monday night and I have yet to receive a call. I'm not sure how they decided to call themselves First QUALITY, but I can assure you, they are anything but. Their original estimate was basically the same as several others I had received. I made the mistake of going with them. I strongly advise you to avoid my mistake. read more

They price was MUCH more affordable than other companies that gave us a quote which was great because we really couldn't afford anything more. The roof is beautiful, however they had told me they would take care of my roof permit before any work was done. After work was done, I found out through the city that it was never filed. My old home from the 50s has 0 record of whole roof being replaced. If I decide to sell the house I just wasted 10k for nothing. On top of this the city said they should have taken care of it, and that they can fine me because they are aware wood was replaced. It has been months since I brought up the concern to them and they give me the run around. I email them and call them. They said they had started and never provided me with anything. No one has come to inspect roof work. Nothing. I explain my concerns in a exit survey, they responded that someone would reach out to me about my experience, and that didn't happen. What kind of company let's their customers in a potential legal issue against the city? This house has already cost a lot of money on all the repairs, the last thing I need is to have to pay fines due to this company's mistake or misleading information from sales rep. read more

If I could give a rating of zero stars, I definitely would. When they came to repair my roof, they started the job, it started sprinkling, so they told me they had covered the roof and that they were leaving. The drizzling stopped about 10 minutes later, so I went to check on the roof. To my surprise, it wasn't covered at all! No tarps, no pieces of plywood, nothing. I then look out into my driveway and see they have left debris everywhere. Pieces of the my roof and nails are scattered everywhere. I needed to go to the store, so I had to clean up my driveway to prevent my tires from picking up nails. That all happened 2 years ago. A few weeks ago, my roof started leaking. So I called them out for warranty work and to repair the drywall that had been damaged as well. The guy went in the roof and claimed that the leak was due to the AC unit on the roof, and he put some tar on the seams of the unity. I asked about them repairing my drywall and he said that even though they were tasked with ensuring my house didn't leak and it did, it's not their fault. Two days he said that to me, the roof started leaking again. He comes out again and restates is because the AC unit and quoted me $470 to repair a 2' by 2' section of drywall. I read all of these reviews about this company not returning phone calls. They did come and give me an estimate and my husband really liked the person that came. He said he was thorough and felt comfortable with him. The job is small, $500.00. We called them 3 days ago, again 2 days ago and we still haven't received a phone call back. ** My thoughts are if you are not calling me back and I want to give you money, what would happen if something went wrong and I needed you. With this thought we have given the job to someone else, I feel like maybe it's too small a job for them, I would not feel comfortable recommending this company. They removed my old roof and installed a new roof and everything was done right, as in the right way to do it, no corners cut. They also recently came out to repair the very same roof after a limb fell and damaged it after a year, and they repaired it just like they said they would in the quote.
