I called on Saturday the 11th for a free estimate and got super lucky--they were in the area and showed up within 15 minutes. After a quick inspection, they let me know I didn't actually need a full replacement, so we just went with a re-installation for my concrete tiles instead. Brian and his dad were supposed to start Monday at 0700, but we pushed it to Tuesday because of the weather/safety concerns. They showed up right on time at 0655 and got straight to work pulling off the old underlayment and stacking up the good tiles and chucking the broken tiles. Once they finished the garage, the difference was night and day. It turns out my roof didn't have any battens before--it definitely does now. They wrapped up the project this afternoon (four days), and even though it wasn't a full roof replacement, my neighbors are already saying it looks awesome. For just two guys (Brian and his Dad) on a two-story house, they seriously rocked it. Highly recommend these guys! Once I am forwarded some photos I will post and update. read more

Fortitude Roofing did not do an adequate job in replacing the roof and refused to mitigate their sloppy work after the roof leaked from the same places once it rained, creating mold, costing thousands in repair and causing SO much unnecessary stress in our lives. Their technician apologized for the crappy workmanship when viewing the work and yet the owner got hostile and attempted to blame the water intrusion on a normal amount of leaf debris which was not even mentioned by the tech. We were given an insultingly high quote for repair that the owner claims was severely discounted. (It wasn't) We were also given an availability date for the work more than 6 weeks out while every other roofing company contacted for a repair quote would be able to fit a one day job into the schedule within 2-3 weeks. Clearly we did not move forward to use Fortitude for the repair with the owners not acting in good faith. Fortitude is one of the roofing companies contributing to the culture of untrustworthiness in roofers so I would not recommend this company. The owners are hostile, their efforts to resolve the issue are disingenuous and they refuse to stand behind the quality of their work. Edited to add photo of what Lee considers 'heavy' debris. We called for an estimate after finding a water spot in the ceiling. Joseph came out and took pictures and that's how we found out how bad the roof was (house is over 30 years old). Joseph gave us two estimates-1 for a section that needed the most work and one for the whole roof. After consulting two roofing companies, we decided that Fortitude was the best company for the job. Joseph is very friendly, knowledgeable and was available when I had questions. Just a few hiccups- the tile order was a pallet short, but they were able to get the tiles installed the same day the shortage was discovered. There seemed to be a lack of communication after the job started. Overall, I absolutely recommend Fortitude Roofing. The roof looks awesome! read more

Until I had trouble getting insurance quotes I did not realize the underlayment of tile roofs needs to be repaired every 20 years or so. I had a couple of companies come out and give quotes, fortitude roofing was the one I was most comfortable with and all of the repairs were professionally completed. This company is very easy to work with, and I would work with them again. read more

Received a Prompt response appointment almost immediately to give us an estimate. Very honest and competitive rates so we went ahead and used them for the job. Joseph was the best part of Fortitude Roofing. He should actually own and run the company. As for Lee, he is unprofessional and unfortunately my husband and him did get into a very heated argument. Words were exchanged and Lee, knowing that my husband was upset, continued to bait him like a juvenile. We hired Fortitude based on the 5 star review and how helpful Joseph and Cherie were in providing assistance. I received a quote via email and then another letter via email stating that the work would begin at 7am. The workers did not show up until about 10:45am and were completed by 1pm (please see the fantastic photos attached of the wonderful work they did- NOT). I understand that service people have a window to come out to do a job. However, on my letter it stated 7am, not 7-10am or 7-11am. It clearly stated 7am, but Lee argued with me that they have a window of time. I said that should have been indicated then. Also, they used extra contractors in from California to do the job, so not even Henderson or Las Vegas employees.(I could not communicate with them on progress because they didn't understand English and I didn't understand Spanish or whatever they were speaking). My husband came home to a mess in the driveway. Empty energy drink cans, old nails all over, and debris from the roof. My husband is a contractor and at one point in his life had his own business, this mad him angry as he always cleans up his mess. Then when he saw the roof, he pretty much was on the edge. How can this company claim this is professional? Maybe it was just a blow-by job because it was an insurance claim, but still the amount of unprofessionalism and attitude that both my husband and I received from Lee was unacceptable. If, big IF, my husband called Lee a little kid, then he probably deserved being called that because nothing about this company other than Joseph was professional. My insurance company is shocked at these photos and the Nevada Department of Insurance Complaints is equally stunned. read more

During the two weeks that I was out of town dealing with my Dad's sudden death there must have been a heavy rain storm because when I got back home I found a brown area on the ceiling of my living room. This area had been repaired (or so I thought) a few years ago. I contacted the company that originally did the repairs only to learn they are no longer in business. Now I know why. I did a Google search for roof repairs and consider myself very lucky that I decided to contact Fortitude Roofing. Santiago was at my home on the day and at the time he promised he would be there. He also noticed another spot on my ceiling that I had not even seen. I had absolutely no idea what the repair would cost but I had an amount in my head that I thought would be reasonable. Santiago must be a mind reader because the amount I had hoped it would cost was what he quoted. The work was done in a very timely manner by two of the nicest, most professional, and courteous men. They cleaned up my yard and were most respectful of my home. Called them for an estimate to repair our roof, gave them all my information and set up an appointment time to have my roof evaluated. They noshowed and didn't contact me for a reason why. When I called to find out why no one answered the phone and was sent to a voicemail but the mail box was full. They left another phone number on their voicemail where you could text. So I texted asking why no one showed up. I never got a response. I understand businesses these days are over worked, under employed but come on. It's like they don't give a dam about you at all here. They don't care about you or even trying to make it right. Or even taking your call, or responding to a text. It's like a big sign saying go away. read more
