We like to sit at the bar so we know we'll always get great service. The bartender was very friendly and quick to serve. We have been here a few times in the past so I always try something different. Not sure what had happened but the food was bland, except for the fries and the salad was real good. I had steak Sando I asked for no dressing and I did get it. Bartender offered to get me a new one but I just removed it from the bun. The steak was sliced pieces very very bland and very very tough. The bun was actually tasty. My hubby had the pork tenderloin sandwich his too was bland different than the last time we were there. Love the tvs you can watch just about every sport and one time. Sad to say the experience was not the best which seems to be the consensus across most reviews. Service is polite but not very attentive. We walked in and everyone there ignored us which was awkward since we were their only customers on a Friday night. They were nice but lots of mistakes with the food. It was all just bland and even the little one said he didn't like the chicken tenders. Not sure what you do to chicken tenders to make a kid not like them. This is my first time stopping in, and unfortunately, not the greatest experience. I walked in at 6:05, and was finally served my meal at 7 o'clock. It took a while for our server to come take our order, and even longer for our food to come out. The place wasn't very busy, so I'm not sure what was going on. The wings were all right, but not my favorite as I prefer saucy/fried wings, without Charring (I asked our server if I could get these without Char, and she was unsure, so I asked for light Char, if not.). The tater tots were good, but needed some ranch which I used on the side. Our dinner took close to 2 1/2 hours, despite coming in on a quiet Tuesday night. This was great!!! I was so happy to find out that literally every item on the menu can be gluten free. The gluten free chicken parm dinner was amazing. Juicy chicken, covered in cheese, and served with pasta and garlic bread. I would come back for this again and again, and definetly to try more gluten free options. The totchos appetizer was great too!! Crispy fries covered in beef and cheese, like a nacho fry. The margaritas were great too. Not too sweet and the perfect strength. The Rodman hotdog was good as always- Chicago style and huge!! The seating inside is very spacious and they have tons of TVs. I loved the patio outdoors. Stopped in for drinks and appetizers and had a decent experience overall. The margaritas were just okay for me (5/10). They tasted a little heavy on the margarita mix and didn't have the fresh flavor I was hoping for. I also tried the watermelon mule, which was another 5/10. It wasn't terrible, but it had a bit of an odd aftertaste. The highlight was definitely the street corn quesadillas. They were flavorful, well-portioned, and didn't feel overly heavy. I'd order those again. My sister ordered the fried pickles, and unfortunately those were our least favorite item. They were pretty dry and had an almost chalky flavor. The seasoning also fell a little flat, which made them difficult to enjoy. The restaurant itself was clean, had plenty of seating, and the staff was friendly and attentive. While the food and drinks weren't enough for me to go out of my way to visit again, I'd definitely stop back if I was in the area or looking for a place to watch a game. read more

I'm sad and disappointed about my first visit to First Round as I had been super excited to try it. Walking in on a Friday night during the World Cup I thought the place would be more lively but it was pretty dead which made it all the more awkward when the bartenders/servers saw us walk in and said nothing until we asked if we should seat ourselves. Our server was sweet but seemed nervous for some reason. She ended up getting a couple of things wrong on our order like bringing us shrimp instead of chicken and charging us for extra tots after she confirmed that we could swap fries for tots and then brought both. The food was just okay. I did really enjoy my street corn quesadillas though. It was just a weird vibe and experience overall. I've been to the Blackstone location, but this was my first time out west. We went with a group of friends, one of whom is celiac, and the restaurant was very accommodating. They have many GF items on the menu and our server asked about gluten allergies when taking our orders. There was a good crowd because a big game was on, and they have so many TVs you can watch multiple games from any vantage point. For my entree I ordered the build your own bowl with a side of fries. The bowl was not my favorite. It was very light on protein and not cohesive at all. I would not order this again. However, my partner ordered charbuffed wings and those were pretty good. We would be back for the environment and GF options, but definitely trying something different from the menu. read more

Was visiting friends in Omaha for the weekend. We were looking for a sports bar specifically as to watch a basketball game. They do have a lot of TVs around the whole restaurant so that was good. The bar inside is decorated with various 90s decor. Behind the bar is a giant spray painted wall with the name of the bar in the likeness of the classic 90s movie Space Jam with characters to match. Other walls have various 90s movie posters. If I'm being picky, the name of the restaurant does not tell me I'm going to a 90s themed bar. Although the decor is pretty cool, I do find the spray paint a little tacky. Furthermore, the menu and drinks did not match the theme of the 90s. The food was okay and I do give the credit for their game time specials. The service was okay. All the staff seemed discombobulated and unsure of themselves. read more

We have driven past this restaurant several times and decided to give it a try. I had a cheeseburger and fries, and the hubby had the street taco's. The cheeseburger had absolutely no flavor or seasoning to it. It was terribly bland. My husband said the most favorable part of the street taco's was the shells. The meat was flavorless and very mediocre. The waitress was wonderful. Very attentive, and asked our honest opinion about the food, which we gave her. She was apologetic and we don't blame her at all. If you are looking to stop somewhere and grab a drink and maybe a quick appetizer, this place might be for you. This was a bit of a rough experience. I've never visited First Round before so I was pretty excited to try it. I met four friends and although we did stagger our arrival within 10-15 minutes, we waited far too long to be helped. The first two to arrive were greeted and ordered a round of drinks. When the last of us arrived, it was 35 minutes for us to get service. We actually had to wave a server down so we could order. We planned on staying longer, but we ended up getting a round of drinks and food and decided to go elsewhere to continue drinking. I do have to say the Southwest salad was very good and a large portion for the money. I would like to assume it was an off night, but we only received an apology after we venmo'd a tip to the waitress who did help us. Met here for a group dinner and to watch some football. The food wasn't standout, I ordered buffalo wings and fries. When they came out, it didn't appear there was any sauce on the wings which is disappointing because the chicken wasn't bad. Our waiter seamed a little frazzled and food came out with delays for a table of 7. This was our second visit and it was very disappointing. Arrived at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and the restaurant was nearly empty. Sat ourselves at a side booth and the music was deafening. When the couple we were dining with arrived we moved to the other side but still very loud. Told our waitress that it wa loud but she did not offer to help. Ordered the Tacos with a corn tortilla and it came with flour again no help from our server. They also brought table chips and salsa as the entrees were served. Despite the place being virtually empty we were treated as an after thought. I ordered a margarita which was very weak tasting. Not sure if this location is going to survive. read more

Unfortunately, I've heard the one in the Blackstone is really good. I have been to west O new location three times with three different meals. The wings were the best, but not anything you would be overly excited about. The BLT straight up sucked. The chicken street corn quesadilla was terrible. This really unfortunately will be a fail in this location. Good TV's . Cold beer but that isn't enough. Sad. read more
