Finally nearing my destination I knew I was going to need to stop and grab some items to stock my…read moreroom for snacks and drinks. I wasn't in the mood to stop at a gas station or drug store, so with little other time to make a decision I just pulled in here. What I like most about this location is that it is a smaller Walmart. I really appreciated that they didn't allow for them to build a superstore here and most likely shutter some local stores. I mean, this is a beach destinations and what would be a beach vacation without those local shops to get your items. You really don't want to have to go to Walmart to grab everything. With it being smaller the layout of the store was a bit off. They attempted to stuff this spot with everything you would find in a Walmart Supercenter and failed miserably. By doing so the flow of products just didn't work. You want crackers, look here first, but just to mess with you a bit, we will continue to the aisle behind you at the end of the aisle. With it being smaller, as well, this place can get quite congested. Which does not make for a good shopping experience. The register area is a mess as well. What's irritating is that this is a bag free store, unless you purchase a reusable bag. I wish I would have known that because I would have brought some in with me from my vehicle. Instead I had to juggle my items until I got to my vehicle.

This Walmart is not a Supercenter. This store does have the clothing, personal care, pet supplies,…read moreelectronics, sporting goods and housewares like other Walmart stores. But it has a very limited grocery section with no fresh produce, limited frozen, no deli and no meats. Even the dairy is limited. What they do have was somewhat well stocked but the shelves were missing cold drinks, bread and I never did manage to find the cheese. I managed to park the Sprinter van here overnight. I was at the front side of the lot near the dumpster by Wendy's. [Review 18191 overall - 108 in Delaware - 1713 of 2022.]

While looking for the bathroom at Starbucks, I wandered into The Shops at the Pearl (named for the…read moreCultured Pearl Japanese restaurant on the second floor) and I felt like I was in a shop in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Ceiling fans made with leaves, lush greens, a small creek/stream, wooden support structures, and even a parrot - was I really in Rehoboth?! When I got to the bathroom, the decor was impeccable and I half expected a squat toilet. Good news Americans! The toilets are those you are used to and a bidet or a bucket of water with a scoop are nowhere to be found. As far as the actual shops, nothing too exciting there. In fact, the decor put me in the mood to bargain, but the shopkeepers looked at me like I was crazy. The following was a typical exchange: Me: How much is this? Shopkeep: $15 Me: No way. I'll give you $5 S: Uhhhhh....I said it was $15! Me: And I said I'll give you $5. S: *stares blankly* Me: Fine....$5.50 S: *Points at exit* No squatty potty and no bargaining? They got the Asian look down but certainly don't have the feel. You may be able to find several cute gifts, particularly jewelry, but the prices are as marked. I also hear the Cultured Pearl has decent sushi and amazing decor but we didn't get a chance to dine there.

They have a fantastic collection of swim wear. The other shops were kinda boring tho. Decor is nice, doesn't feel like you are in Rehoboth.
