    First Team Hampton Chevrolet, Service/Repair Department. If you go here for any Service dealing with Engine or Transmission be Expected and Prepared to be without your Vehicle for the next Month or Two Month. I am not A upset customer I am not disgruntled. I promise you I am not just here too give disappointed news and Honest News and my Experience here. Don't believe me try too call your Service Advisor. You don't call them they call you. I can never get through too any service advisor. I speak from experience I tried calling my Service advisor. Phillip Stallings wish I had another Service Advisor on A serious note. Tried calling another service advisor too get in touch with my advisor. You can never get through too anyone here at this Hampton Chevrolet. I don't know if it's because it's Hampton or the First Team Chevrolet is the issue. But enough of the negativity I'd say. Truth is if you want answers Make sure you have time, or your off, because what ever 7 cities you live in you will repeatedly drive too this Location just too get answers or updates about your vehicle. If you don't have time too do that; just keep praying on that call from this guys. If you don't have A rental Policy with your Insurance or Extended warranty. You just Met the Government shut down or more like Personal Vehicle shut down. Due too this inconvenience. I seriously reconsider having too have dealt with this Hampton Dealer Ship or even First Team company as A whole. With possibly for A chance with another Dealer Ship in mind with more consistency and professionalism. This is also A picture of myself Having too come to this establishment the x3 Time. And when arriving I have witnessed hands on Standing in line and at first sight other Customers verbally fussing and having A back and forth with A advisor in Ref.: too their vehicle and vehicle's. I'll give A 2nd Star due too I guess you guys completing the Vehicle Work.

    I am beyond impressed with the collision center here, so much so I think I would recommend them to friends and family. When it came to choosing a body shop to repair my car, this being my first time ever in a car crash, Hampton Chevrolet was my insurance companies preferred body shop - and i'm so glad we went to them. The damage the rear end of the vehicle sustained was substantial. The entire back of the car needed to be replaced. We arrived on the 27th November, signed the car in with the collision center (who were already expecting our arrival at 09:30,) and were called the 14th December saying they expected the car to be fixed the next day. Guess what, 15th December - it's done. They called at 1pm to say we could take her home. The entire time the car was in their possession, we were updated every step of the way by our assigned rep. Text messages, emails and voicemails of the progress were provided. The collision center made the whole process super easy, and the team here were very supportive. My car looks new again! 5* for the team here!!

The vehicle was still driving under its own power before being dropped off at Hampton Roads Car Care for a diagnostic. The shop diagnosed it as a loose or skipped timing chain and immediately suggested replacing the entire engine. Instead of approving such a major (and questionable) repair, my mother decided to have the vehicle towed back home to explore our options. When I arrived on Friday, August 2 to inspect the vehicle, I discovered that it had not been reassembled at all. It had been returned with missing bolts, coil packs removed, and crucial components left undone. The next day, I personally went to the shop to demand they put the vehicle back together. They sent someone out around noon, but after "reassembly," the vehicle no longer starts or runs. What was once a running vehicle has now been turned into a 7,000-pound paperweight sitting in my mother's driveway--thanks to the negligence of Hampton Roads Car Care. Based on this experience, I would never recommend this shop for state inspections, repairs, or any kind of vehicle service. This is yet another well-deserved low review for this business.

Pep Boys had the best prices and I was able to make an appt online. In total, I paid $30 for a high mileage oil change, tire rotation, and an oil filter. This was the cheapest I could find in the area, including Groupon deals. Fermando, an associate, helped me with check in. I arrived about 10 minutes before my appt time and he immediately greeted me. Fermando was polite, quick, and super friendly! His customer service will be the only reason I return. My appt time was at 1pm and my car was ready around 3:15pm . I opted to wait in their customer lounge, which has chairs and a tv. It did take awhile to complete my oil change, but I know this is the case for most car places.

After asking more questions the representative said they had nothing to do with the alternator failure and that we would have to pay full price to replace it or have it towed out of pep boys. The total price was nearly twice what was quoted. I would strongly recommend looking at any other shop if at all possible and definitely steer clear if your AD military.

Then brought back on the 11 Sept to get truck looked at and was told on the 12 Sept they are behind . I arrived on September 12 to find my truck ram sacked and items missing and yet the truck was locked . I lost a lot of money and time due to this shops doings.

    I knew something was wrong with my 2013 Ford Escapes transmission. It sometimes slow shifted and…read moreoccasionally clunked but was fully functional and drove to the shop with little issue. I was hoping to head off a problem before it became major. The next day they told me the transmission was shot and needed replacing and they had located a rebuilt one. The price seemed high so I said I would take it home and weigh my options. Immediately I noticed it would barely go into reverse. This was not an issue before. At first it would not go into 1st but eventually did. I barely got the it back home. They say they just did external diagnostic and nothing with the mechanics. I know there were issues but the before and after was astonishing. I can't be 100% but I also can't rule out that they made sure I would need a rebuild. Also I asked why they could not rebuild in house and they said they are only capable to do 4 speed not my 6 speed automatic. This place left me with a very bad feeling. Another thing after they realized they were not getting the work they told me that they would suggest scraping the vehicle due to some smoke from tailpipe on starting cold. This was never the recommendation when they thought that they were getting the job.

This dealership has always been very pushy with trying to sell their cars. This time I came by to look at a used car. The sales person we had, Luke, was new so he wasn't as pushy as his manager. He was very laxed and honest. It was obvious that he was new there since he was unsure about a lot of our questions but he got them all answered. He wasn't pushy and was very patient with us. But his manager was very pushy and kept pressuring us to sign for a car even when we were unsure. The used car we looked at was initially priced was over what it was worth especially considering damage, the mileage, and the year. We were able to get the price down but I found the listing online a on their website and saw that they initially overcharged us by $2,000 in person compared to their online listing. I brought it up but was told that listings fluctuate. We said we were going to look at another car that was newer for a cheaper price and the manager demanded to see the listing as if I were lying. It was rude of them to do that and completely unnecessary. I ended up showing the listing and the manager proceeded to just trash talk that car rather than focus on the car we were looking at at the dealership. Ultimately I was pressured to sign for the car and was upset that they have a "as is" policy because as soon as I brought it home and had time to inspect it further, there was a crack in the windshield. They didn't even factory reset the car and other phones were still connected to it. They said they cleaned the car before we got it but it was clear someone just sprayed a lemon scent inside and called it a day. The amount of damage I ended up finding in the car made me regret my purchase and the way the lie straight to your face is insane.
