Happy Friday, foodies! So, I finally got a chance to stop in and eat at the First Watch in Bethlehem, and I was SO excited! So let's get started, my foodies! I started with the Purple Haze juice, while my husband got the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee. And when I say BABY... these drinks were GOOD! Definitely a great way to start the morning. Now, I definitely ate with my eyes when I ordered the Tres Leches Strawberry French Toast with chicken apple sausage patties. Listen... the presentation had me sold before I even took the first bite! My husband went with the Tri-Fecta, where you have the option of getting a waffle or pancakes. The service was fast, which I always appreciate, and the restaurant was clean, bright, and airy, making it a really comfortable place to sit and enjoy your meal. I tried First watch in Orlando and was blown away. When i found out they were opening one up RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FROM MY HOME, i was stoked. That fizzled out quickly as i took off 6/15/26 for their grand opening to take the bride there for our anniversary. As we enter, there is a security lady sitting there not allowing anyone in, we are greeted with a 1 hr wait. We ordered ONLINE to go and ate in our car. The food was mid, nothing fancy. French toast was soggy and the wife's eggs were ok. We decided to give it another shot, put our name on the list, wait for the call and i have to say the process is not worth it. The message you and as your trying to get there, your getting another message that they are giving up your table. We called and they allowed us to get in and sit. The iced coffee is prepared prior in a big batch so i cant customize w non dairy milk. Again my food was just mid, eggs were ok, the wife's food was decent but nothing the screamed come back, wait and hour and eat here. The waitress was kind, polite and cool. They said you only have one chance to make a good first impression. My first visit here at first watch, I left full and satisfied. The food menu was extensive with unlimited coffee pots, full of assortment of breakfast, brunch and lunch sandwiches, pancakes, waffles tacos, and cheese melts. The service was friendly. The ambience was soft and casual and the food taste were great including my cheesy grits. Looking forward to my next visit. read more

Not impressed. Had the omelette and it was just okay. Could have had the same thing at a diner for a lot less and basically the same. Also the service was slow and not attentive. Won't rush back. read more

Hard to tell been waiting over 45 minutes for food after ordering on a Wednesday morning. I heard great reviews but this wait is disconcerting and would make me hesitate to come back unless the food is impeccable. I am not happy and food was cold when it came out. Will probably not come back. It's 20 minutes from my house and I'm not sure I would want to chance another long wait for lukewarm temp food. The food tasted good. I had the tacos and like I said it tastes good BUT there's places just as good or better closer to me. My second visit to First Watch was with my girlfriend (a chef). Really, everything was wonderful. I can now attest to the Million Dollar Potatoes, the juice, coffee both hot and iced, the Belgian Waffle, and two of the 3 standard omelets. All were wonderful, and I disagree with those who felt it was not worth returning. That's on them. I'll be returning, and with more company. Keep in mind I know all the other local cafes and diners. This was my first visit to First Watch. I was excited to try this restaurant. I did review the menu online prior to going to the location. Alcohol was on the online menu. However this location does not offer alcohol. Arriving we were seated quickly . The hostess noticed our table was not clean and corrected that immediately. Our server was Zachary. He was polite and courteous. Coffee was served and it had a very bitter taste. Zachary brought a new carafe which did taste better. The million dollar bacon was good. The Hash I ordered was hot . It was overly salty and greasy. My fellow diner had pancakes which were good. I was disappointed in the granola not being gluten free. I had expected more gluten free options. Was seated fairly quickly midday on a Friday. Food took about a hour. My first frittata was over done and dry. Get a second one which was only slightly better. My sister got the lemon ricotta pancakes. Mediocre at best. Did not taste of lemon or ricotta. Saving grace was the lemon curd on top. The waiter was very attentive and apologetic. We asked to see a manager, who was busy in the kitchen. They comped the whole meal and gave us BOGO vouchers. Will give them one more try. read more

8 am Saturday Morning, place is a madhouse. 15-20 young adults making believe they are servers. Waited 20 minutes, sat down, waited 20 more minutes before anyone came to the table to see if we had been helped yet. Ordered coffee and breakfast, waited another 20 minutes and had to get up myself, walk into kitchen and grab a pot of coffee and walked back to the table. Nobody questioned me or even asked if we needed anything. Food arrived, (mostly wrong) and was room temperature. Portions are laughable. We only tolerated this nonsense simply because we had time to kill and just wanted to see how long everything would take and how bad it would all be. Go to a Mom & Pop Diner where they immediately come over to the table at 8 am with a coffee pot in hand. This place is a joke. I am rarely stunned by just what the great indoctrinated and massaged sheeple are willing to deal with but this place takes the cake. We went to First Watch for the first time today. It took 15 minutes to get a pot of coffee. Coffee was OK. Food was served COLD. Toast not toasted; eggs not well done as ordered; potatoes over salted; pork sausage links too greasy - needed to be cooked more. Two other people at my table also received cold, undercooked food. Very friendly and upbeat. The eggs and bacon were perfect, as was the sourdough toast. At 66 years old, I'd never met a potato I didn't like. Until now. The breakfast potatoes had a weird aftertaste, and I could not eat them-a cardinal sin to this Irish girl! I will give it another chance and update accordingly. read more

I gave it a 3 even though really should been a 2. Second time I tried this place and the last time. First I again went in as a single and she said 45 min wait. And it was because of location of placing singles. So I asked if any open in back and asked if had AC. She said yes to both. It was 95 degrees on July 1st. See photo below. Guess that's what they call AC I could stick my arm out the imaginary window ..she brought me a pot of coffee that definitely came from a left over table. Only one cup of coffee in it and not very hot and I had to ask for a new pot the meal was so so. Grits good. Eggs not cooked as I wanted. Toast felt soft. I swear it wasn't toasted so when I left I happened to gaze at all the empty tables and there wete two in the back where I was sitting. I heard as I left her telling people it would be a 45 min wait. i came here with 6 of my friends and at first there was a one hour wait but it was busy so that's not bad. we got in there and the server was pretty nice. four of us ordered a mint iced coffee drink and it did take a while but the place was very busy. our food came pretty much right after we got our drinks and i ordered a yogurt and granola bowl. it was very good it had strawberry's and pineapple on it. it was very good i really enjoyed it. the food also was not very expensive the bowl was about 13 dollars and the drink was about 5. all the workers were very friendly and i would recommend this place. this restaurant just opened and it was a very nice experience. read more

I have dined at a First Watch in the past and loved it, so I was excited to try the new location. I hate to review so low because the food here is very good and I feel we may have had a bad experience because of this being a new location. We had about 6 dirty glasses brought to our table. One with a dried up lemon seed in it. My silverware was also not washed well and had food crumbs dried onto it. So it seems they need to work on their dishwashing and be more vigilant as people can get sick from this stuff. The worst, though, was that my brother was served a sandwich where the paper used to separate cheese or meat in packaging was still on the sandwich. Unfortunately he didn't notice until about halfway through, it's just a little ridiculous and dangerous that they're that sloppy in the kitchen. I hope it's just growing pains of this being a new location but I don't think I will be coming back soon. read more

The food was kind of just eh and it took 3 times to get my daughters order to be semi-correct (was not a crazy request)She wanted chorizo on the side instead of inside with a side of hollandaise sauce.(which the waitress had no idea what it was...even though they serve eggs benedict on the menu!) First time her food came out it is was a totally different menu item(which we were told the waitress wrote down wrong(it happens...no biggie), 2nd time it came out though, it was stuffed full of chorizo but there was a pretty strawberry on the plate? lol (what the heck) The 3rd time it was the correct item, chorizo was on the side...which nobody was going to eat now....because the food that was gonna be eaten by the rest of us, was done. This time, there still was no hollandaise....just the sauce that is suppose to come on the chimichanga on the side instead......but we are finally close enough, didnt need the hollandaise.......(let's pack it up to go!) because atleast a half hour has passed since the orginal order came out and it was time to move on. This whole time, we are being ignored by our waitress(who totally scurried past our table and avoided eye contact, multiple times) as a frustrated man from the kitchen was the one who kept bringing out my daughters incorrect food. At the end our waitress finally brought a box(the eye rolling man mustive told her) and she said "Sorry you had a problem with the food, my manager will be coming over to talk to you" The Manager apologized and tried to comp my daughters food, but I suggested he should comp the whole 3 of our meals because of pretty much EVERYTHING (I was nice as I understand people make mistakes but this was just too much for me to overlook without saying anything) He understood and agreed. Then the staff trainer came over an couldnt apologize enough because they are new and she said people keep quiting and others are learning...etc(she was very nice but.... As I told her...Being new(like our waitress)( Let's remember all the waitresses are new) doesnt make it okay for her to ignore us and not take accountability. That is a personal thing. Not a because we are a new restaurant thing. Interaction with us from her, would've gone a long way. She said she would talk to her about it and gave my daughter a breakfast on us card(she had a stack), so I imagine its been a rocky start. I personally wont be going back(even though I like to give places a 2nd chance, especially if new) but besides the fiasco we had...it was so loud(they totally redid the place into a smaller cafeteria like atmosphere) I remember Ruby Tuesdays being so much bigger and much more comfortable. I guess their kitchen must be very big now. Also, while the menu is very unique, the food was subpar at best. If you plan on trying it, I do suggest you wait atleast a month or more to give them a better chance to get their groove on or you might be disappointed as well. read more
