Have been to various other locations in Florida so I knew what to expect. Unfortunately, this location seriously let me down - from the drab uninspired decor in a room that did not have a warm feel to it, to the just meh food. Had the florentine benedict with soft scrambled eggs instead of poached. Everything on the plate was cold aside from the fruit cup (go figure)?!? Eggs were served hard scrambled and the whole plate literally lacked ANY flavor. I think the potatoes probably would have tasted good warm if not hot. I really did enjoy the super light and fluffy blueberry pancake with crispy edges even though there was not enough blueberries. It was served with warm blueberry preserves, I prefer the actual fruit myself in the pancake. Overall not bad but certainly not great. read more

OMG! This place is amazing!! Sad it's only open until 2 tho! And I'm also super disappointed they took off my favorite menu item i came back at least twice a week for...( seriously it was that addictive!) the breakfast tostadas topped with smashed avocado, eggs over easy, chorizo, verde sauce, crumbled feta cheese and lime crema was so good! Thankfully i was able to successfully recreate it at home, tho i would have loved to have it cooked for me and paired with the millionaire bacon and tonic juice and I'd be back there twice a week if not more! This was a great breakfast with even better service. The menu was full of excellent options from sweet to savory, we looked at yelp photos to help us decide. We saw a meal that looked like it had Nutella but didn't see it on the menu and so asked. The server and manager looked to see if they still had the ingredients in the kitchen to make it for us! When they didn't have what they needed, they recommended another delicious French toast. The food was fresh and delicious, the Chile Chorizo omelet was just the right level of spicy for breakfast. We also tried the farmers skillet, hearty and with fresh fruit on the side. At the end of our meal the manger brought us the millionaires bacon to try-what great service! We ate here for breakfast Sept 2018. I had high hope's but was soon very disappointed. My food looked delicious but was ALL cold. My son had the carrot cake pancake and his was dry and cold. My husband waited almost 15 minutes longer for his breakfast to arrive AFTER we were served our cold food. Great spot for brunch! Friendly server greeted us at the door (Emily) and brought rich coffee and water right away. Menu is expansive-- definitely something for everyone! Our group wanted to make plans to eat at First Watch so I called the day before and was advised to use the First Watch app to use their "Get In Line" feature. The app only allows for groups up to 6, so I called this morning to ask for help. The hostess working today said that feature doesn't work at their location and they don't get any notifications. She was completely indifferent and unapologetic even after I told her I had been told the day before it worked. We took our group of 10 elsewhere this morning. Upon arrival I checked in on Yelp and received a coupon for $2 dollars off my meal, so I was off to a great start. I kept it simple and ordered a basic breakfast with sausage links, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and a waffle. The portions were good and the service was even better. As far as the food everything was delicious. My only complaint would be the scrabbled eggs were more like an omelette, in that they were over cooked. I know from experience that's pretty easy to do. We called ahead after being screwed at the the original pancake house. We were told 20 minutes on the phone. When we came in we were told 25-30, it actually was 45 minutes before we got a table. Party of two. Nothing too crazy. When seated I recommended to the hostess to add some time for folks coming in to be safe and she responded saying "sorry we can't be perfect. We never know how long people will sit for." Well duh. I don't expect you to be a mind reader. How's that for no awareness that we are the customer? And we just waited 45 minutes for breakfast. Apology negated. Wait staff was pleasant at least. I was hoping the food would change my mind about this review, but alas it didn't. Scrambled eggs were half snotty and arrived when I was about finished. Pumpkin pancake pretty good. Applegate turkey sausage decent (and small - size of my thumb). Husband's was great. I wouldn't wait another 45 minutes for this place. That is, unless it's the only place open and I'm starving. Maybe I could consult on "what is customer service?" for this place? Nah. Many months ago I came here, extremely hung over. Probably the most hung over I've ever been in my life. I was so sick that I became violently ill in the small, single stall men's room here. I made terrible choices the prior night. I bought too many 20oz tall-boy Heinekens at the DMB concert at Alpine Valley. I would by one for me and one for my Fiancé that apparently stopped drinking so she could drive us to the hotel. I had to drink them all, as the cost a hefty price tag and didn't want to see them go to waste. I one point, 1 became too many more. But then the second put me over the edge and I found myself in that small, small, tiny bathroom at the First Watch the morning after, trying to enjoy brunch with my lady. It was not a pleasant experience. My face, beet-red, capillary bursting, from the violent encounter. My body trembled as though I had a fever for 2 weeks straight, or I was coming clean of some kind of drug. Things were not great. Not great at all. But my meal, boy was my meal nice. I hardly had the wherewithal to understand where I was, or what I was trying to consume. I was still moderately drunk from the 8 hours prior. I got the club sandwich, with the side salad. I wanted to salad for the nutrients, and cellulose that would inevitably help me with my condition. I ate every last bit of my meal, not really enjoying the experience due to my present-state, but consuming it nonetheless because I knew it would help me in my state somehow and in someway...It was delicious from what I recall. Most importantly however is that after taking a nap in the car on the way back home to Chicago, I woke with great sense of vigor. I felt like a million dollars more than how I felt back at First Watch in that small, small men's room stall; in that stall, I felt like negative-million dollars, so now I was back to zero.
