This is a great place for breakfast or lunch! Short a star because the waffles came out late and also cold. I personally did not have the waffles but the people I was with did. I feel all the meals at the table should come out together or at least close. read more

I had heard of the chain before but never went to any previously. I'd heard mixed reviews from friends of other locations so I wasn't sure how I'd like it. The menu was "farm fresh" type ingredients with several "trendier" options than your typical breakfast place. Our wait was rather long--about 45 minutes for a party of 3 at 10:30 on a Sunday. But there were multiple large parties ahead of us as well as families who seemed to make this a regular breakfast. It was a rainy day so they were not able to utilize the dozen or so patio tables they have with umbrellas outside. read more

I have NEVER walked out of a restaurant before. I just did. 45 min from seating to when our food got there. I can understand a busy Sunday, but texted for our table at 1:00 and food came about 1:45 We ordered a egg sandwich. Egg and cheese only. Nothing else on it. It came with everything. I order the chorizo and egg omelette no avocado, came with it. The only one that was right was my daughter fruit crepe. The server never bothered to come back after taking the order. He was not rude, but like mentioned in other posts, he was pre occupied with who was coming in and what was going on. I got up and left. We would have paid for the coffee and juice. But he said that we didn't have to pay. Wanted to try someone different, guess we should have went to IHOP, Cracker Barrel or Bob Evans. Because this was a mitigated disaster! Lots of great choices here. First time at First Watch. I guess there are a number of locations. We were really happy with all of the food from cereal to eggs to pancakes. It was busy but the staff handled it well. Not quick to the table but worth the wait. We will be back for more before we leave. This place was AWFUL from the moment we walked in they were rolling their eyes at us !!! They looked like they hated there job. The host had attitude. And when we did get seated the table was dirty. We asked someone to clean it she then half wiped it, we had to ask her to give us the rag to clean it our self and we grabbed out own paper towel to dry it off. There was not even enough cup for our party on the table. There was two and our party was 6. We then were not greated while we seat there, there was a long hair in the creamer. So disappointed in breakfast. Have been to other FIrst Watch locations and had great service. got off red eye from LA and stppped at First Watch for breakfast. Ordered eggs Benedict. First order the white of the eggs was undercooked, second go round eggs were over cooked to point of yellow of egg solid like a boiled egg. Decided to leave without eating, waitress came with check for rest of party's meal stating they took care of my meal which to them meant not charging me for the meal I didn't eat. Btw my sisters Belgium waffle was over cooked, cold and the waitress never brought the butter as promised. This location has problems. Attitude of staff was uncaring. read more

My family and I have been fans of First Watch for many years. Our regular location started in Deerfield, FL and then changed to Lauderhill, FL when that location opened. We recently moved to the Orlando, FL area and had to find a First Watch. I found one on International Drive in the Lake Buena Vista area. Once again the food was AMAZING! Needing to find a location closer to home we found this location at Champions Gate. The first time we dined here it was exceptional as usual for First Watch. On our 4 subsequent visits everything changed. The first problem we had was an issue of quality control. My daughter and I both ordered from the pick 2 menu selections and got a half salad as part of our meal. When the salads arrived at the table the spring mix was wilted, and some pieces were flat out rotted (you know when lettuce turns to slime but is still shaped like lettuce). We exchanged for new salads but the next batch didn't look any better. The manager did take care of the bill. The next two incidents were of similar nature, but the fourth was actually the worst. My daughter was eating her breakfast potatoes when she suddenly gagged. When she opened her mouth there was a long, black, curly hair cooked in with the potatoes and it was stuck in her teeth. Feeling like we were being troublesome it was embarrassing to call someone over on yet another visit, but hair cooked into the food needs to be addressed. They young man who is the manager at this location came to check on us and verbally stated "this seems to be becoming a weekly problem". Feeling the same we still told him what happened this time and he went to investigate. Upon returning he stated, "I don't have an employee working for me with hair like this" and proceeded to give a side glance at my granddaughter as if we took her hair and put it in the food. My granddaughter is biracial and has hair so curly it turns into a coil when it falls out. (Side note: our server had that same kind of hair, a gentleman in the kitchen had a long black beard without a hairnet covering it, one other person in the kitchen had that hair) Implying that your guest sabotaged their food because as the manager you have low quality standards led me to say we will have to drive out of our way if we are to enjoy First Watch again. read more

We were so looking forward to this place. The menu looked great and after reading some good reviews. However, the food was served cold, which it TERRIBLE with Eggs Benedict. I don't know if it was the waitress or the kitchen or both. The millionaire bacon would have been amazing if it was crispy. It was soggy. The people next to us also had a bad experience, same waitress and food was cold. The only saving grace is the tomato juice was really good. I originally posted that we would not be back but the manager made up for it and comped our whole ticket. We'll give them a second chance and try the corn beef hash next time. read more

At first glance, restaurant is beautiful. Walked in, person at register didn't say hello so I grabbed a menu and sat down to read. At first glance it's a little pricey but they boast of cage free eggs and some juicy, enticing sounding pancakes that consist of whipped ricotta and sweet lemon curd woman finally asks "do you need anything?" (Weird.) and I politely ask her for a menu to take home. Will definitely have to come here one day, but not today. This was my first, and last time here! I ordered a banana crunch pancake and it was nothing to rave about! I make better pancakes at home! I ordered their million dollar bacon, and had to send it back, because it was cold, not hot or warm I mean COLD! They brought me another order and was just warm, and very chewy, I ate one piece and left the rest! Nobody ever came over and asked how is everything , if they would have I would have told them about how terrible the bacon was! This was my first and last visit! read more
