Chenelle was the saving grace of our visit. My meal was not done as requested and, after a previous bad visit, I was a bit disheartened. Chenelle was so kind, caring, and genuine. She identified the issue--which could have caused an allergic reaction for me--and took care of it immediately. She also helped us with mom's meal when it turned out she couldn't stomach it. She took what would have been a second bad experience and turned it around into a positive experience for us. We appreciate her greatly and look forward to visiting with her again. read more

The food is amazing. I got the bacado omelette which was a great combo with bacon and avocado, potatoes for the side which was fine. I got the French toast as well and the crust was divine and the softness on the inside was perfection in my opinion. I also got the purple haze and it was like a sweet lemonade. First Watch NEVER disappoints! The Farmhouse Hash & Eggs is my favorite but I've tried the quinoa blueberry pancake lbs and they were delicious. Today I'm having the Italian inspired omelet and what a delicious blend of flavors. And of course the million dollar bacon is amazing! The fried potatoes/home fries are the best! I enjoy first watch. When I worked night shift I would sometimes place a to-go order to pick up and it was always ready and fresh when I arrived. My husband and I have eaten in-house once, and we got very lucky to be sat immediately before the crowd. Wait times can build quickly here on the weekends, but that's just because First Watch has delicious food + a warm, inviting dining room and people don't wanna leave! I do believe i have found my new favorite restaurant in all of Chattanooga. Oh my goodness. How have i never been to first watch! This place is divine. From the food to the service, to the portions, and the prices, everything is just perfection. I came with a friend whose a regular here for lunch around 1pm on a weekday. The place was steady but there were open tables. We waited to get sat, and then was ushered to our booth. The restaurant is very quaint, but stylish. It has a very homey feeling to it with rustic wood decor around the restaurant. I would describe the decor as farm house style. With it being a farm to fork restaurant, it matches perfectly. Now for the food. I had the chickichanga which looked like a burrito but was made from whipped eggs, and filled with natural diced chicken breast, a hint of chorizo, green chilies, avocado, and of course cheese. This was serviced with home style potatoes which had a nice crisp to them, and to be a little healthy, a side of fresh fruit :) all of this for only $11 bucks! I was only able to eat half of the portion. My friend had their breakfast tacos! It looked delicious but i didn't try it. Also i had the Kale tonic to start off with, And i can't wait to come back and try more juices, and really all of their food. I can't even explain how good my breakfast bowl was , I just kept saying wow , omg ... my husband was doing the same thing with his Sandwich . It was so full of flavors that mixed perfect together for a yummy creation in your mouth . The girls did tell me they were discontinuing the special I had , I was like how could they get rid of such a perfect breakfast bowl . She said it was her favorite too . The last time I was at a First Watch was years ago in a different state. It is cool how each one has its own flair on decor and style. I came on a Sunday morning around 10am and was surprised by how busy it was that early. I had been hearing rave reviews from friends about the Kale Tonic drink and that did not disappoint. Ordered the million dollar bacon and I have to say I was disappointed compared to reading the description. I was hoping to taste more cayenne flavor and the drenched maple syrup took away the crispiness I love in bacon. However, it's still bacon so still delicious. my friend ordered the smoke salmon eggs Benedict and was underwhelmed. He understood that the smoked salmon was room temperature/chilled, but then so was everything else on the plate (e.g. eggs, hollandaise sauce). I got on e of seasonal hash bowls and it was tasty but lacking on flavor some. Overall, I was underwhelmed compared to reading the menu descriptions; however, I still want to come back and try other items. Maybe make it over for lunch someday too. read more

I always come here expecting a wait because it is such a popular breakfast location. However, it never disappoints! Took the whole family here to show them a local restaurant. Everyone's dishes were great, and service was excellent. You can tell that the food is really fresh. I always like to try the specials so I got the wild mushroom frittata and got a pumpkin pancake. This was my first visit based on high recommendations from a friend, so I decided to give it a try. My friend and I arrived during brunch hours and the restaurant was semi packed. Parking was a little bit of a challenge but once we entered the restaurant, we were promptly seated. I perused the menu and I noticed First Watch had a pretty good breakfast option and when I looked at the lunch side, the lunch menu also looked very appetizing. I was in the mood for breakfast food. I wanted a little bit of everything so our waitress suggested to try the Tri-Fecta. Which included two fresh cage-free eggs, multigrain pancake and turkey sausage with Morning Meditation. This drink was the best! Morning Meditation is a combination of organ, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet. It was well blended. This drink was well recommended by my friend. When my food came out, everything looked great! I almost made the mistake of buying two multigrain pancakes. The portions of those pancakes are quite BIG! I absolutely loved my first experience at First Watch. The fact they are health based/organic made them even more desirable for me. The atmosphere of the place was great. Arrived about 8:30am for Sunday breakfast. There are vegetarian option(s) but not vegan options. As a party of 8, 6 adults and two kids (one booster and a high chair) we were seated right away. Kids were given crayons to color on their placemat menus that kept them occupied. We had two vegetarians yet we were all happy with the choices. We ordered the hacienda hash, avocado toast, maketplace vegetarian omelet, carrot pancake, chocolate chip pancakes + turkey sausage for the kids, and Florentine Benedict's one with potatoes and the other with a salad. I got the Florentine Benedict with salad and it was all around tasty and healthy. I really like the ciabatta bread as the base of the Benedict. The avocado toast was tasty with just the right toast for a crisp bite. The hacienda hash had good flavor. The veggie omelet had fresh veggies to savor. The service was good. This place has really surprised me in the last year. Service is great and the food has gotten better. They now have a waitlist on yelp you can get on before getting there if they are busy. *As you wait for your seat you get complimentary coffee (which is a perk because their coffee is amazing). My favorite thing so far are the farm house tacos. It was enough for me and my daughter so share and be full. Their fruits and veggies are always fresh. The atmosphere is very nice and laid back and perfect for when you are alone or with a small group but they don't have many "table"seats so call in before you come in with a group. I love the food here. However, our service was only okay. The waitress got 2 things wrong with my order. When my food came out, I told the person bringing it and they quickly corrected it. They first sat us right by the kitchen and we could hear clanging and it was so noisy. My back was to the wall and my friend told me not to move. There was a two inch cockroach climbing the wall behind me. She killed it and gave it to the server who said nothing else the entire time we were there and never brought a manager over.
