Hubby and I the pleasure of having lunch our my sister-in-law and niece. Angel suggested this place as healthy eating. The restaurant serves fresh food from Farm to table. The portion sizes are huge. Katie was our server. She was just a pleasure. Especially because she put up with John's sense of humor. He literally asked 100 questions. The menu have so many options. We were able to order breakfast after 1pm. Katie explained that everything is made fresh daily. Fruits cut, breads, salads and vegetables. Every order is prepared fresh. Angel ordered the banana pancake with skillet hash. Her drink was Purple Haze. It's made with Honey Bee Peas and Lavender. Desiree enjoyed the wedding soup and sweet tea. Hubby ordered Monterey Club- Turkey, avocado, bacon, mixed greens, tomato and Monterey cheese on white bread. He also enjoyed the wedding soup. I had the delicious Sweet Honey Pecan Salad. Our first impression was NOISE! The music is loud, the ceilings high with nothing to soften sound. All of it combines to cause customers to speak more loudly to communicate with each other creating a cacophony of sound. Our service was excellent. We were treated with prompt and respectful service, checked on often, but not so often to be annoying. The menu looks great and makes you hungry, as a good one should. My husband ordered the market omelet with egg whites. It looked fantastic. He reports that the bread was wonderful. He was disappointed by vegetables that were unseasoned. I ordered biscuits with turkey sausage gravy. Once again the presentation was spot on. The gravy had an odd texture and needed salt, yet the biscuit was light and flaky. My wife and I are loyal customers to FirstWatch. We usually have great experiences when dining here. Today they were off. It happens. My wife noticed that half of her ingredients we left out of her specialty breakfast tacos. There was no carnitas at all along with other missing ingredients. We made no substitutions at all so we don't know where the disconnect was. We pointed it out to the waitress and she just walked away. She comes back 10 minutes later with a side of the carnitas and the other ingredients. We were taken by surprise that instead of just replacing the two tacos they wanted my wife to build her own taco. Since she waited the rest of the taco was cold. No manager came to speak to us or apologize or offer us a comp on that meal. Very atypical of the service at this first watch. We were also not asked how our meal was after when paying. I know this was not the waitresses fault so we did not fault her on reducing tip. This was a lack of effort and caring on Managment. Accidents happen, but you need to take care of your customers when you mess up. My wife and I gladly paid the bill and tipped our waitress, however I hope this review helps managment reevaluate their efforts of walking over and having a conversation with the customer when there was a mishap that was not rectified in an accepted manner. To be clear we did not want a free meal, but we at least expect them to make right by providing us with a product we purchased, not having us build it ourselves after the other ingredients went cold. read more

I just moved to Florida and my brother took me here, the entire drive he raved about the place and one look at the menu and I started to understand why. Then, our waitress came to the table and was one of the most friendly person I've encountered since my move. Attentive, helped me with deciding my meal and very professional! I ordered the Chickichanga (which is exactly how it sounds) and it was great! The combination of the chili's, chicken and avocado all wrapped up in a wet burrito hit the spot. It was even better that their hash browns were good, too. My husband got the pesto chicken quinoa bowl topped with feta. Both looked so good when they came out that we had to share both of our meals. Added on was a side of their millionaires bacon (which is baked with brown sugar, cayenne and maple syrup) which was fine, but I could have had a lot less syrup that it came with. I've been to several first watch locations and this is by far my favorite one. The inside is very rustic and modern. The food is very good. I got an omelet with bacon, avocado and cheese. Their breakfast potatoes are very good and you can sub egg whites on all their omelets for no additional charge (which is rare). I also like that when you order coffee they bring you an entire pot for the table, and they leave a pitcher of water on the table which is really convenient. They also have an app where you put your name on the waiting list to reserve a table...which came in handy today since it was busy. The only bad thing I would say is that it's a little pricey for breakfast food ($9-$13 a plate). read more

The menu offers fresh takes on old ideas and flirts more with healthy options than most restaurants. The KALE TONIC is a must. And is my fave. Be prepared that if you order the Eggs Benny they will not be served on the traditional English muffin, but instead be nestled quietly on top of a very toasted slice of Chibatta bread. But to be perfectly honest, since eggs Benny is my favorite dish in the world, it saddens me to report that putting it on an overly crunchy piece of bread really dampens my mood. Everything I've had here has been delicious and they have yummy drinks and smoothies! The service can be hit or miss. I've had great service and other times, not so much. If you attempt to reserve a spot on yelp, beware. I once reserved a spot for 2 here on a Sunday morning and arrived soon after. Another (larger) group that arrived after me was sat prior to my group. I saw one host as another if I should go first since I reserved first on yelp and the response to the question was "no." I found this a bit strange so I haven't gone back since. Great juice selection that goes above and beyond; I had carrot, orange and ginger. That one is called the morning glow. As a truly bacon lover, I ordered their "millionaire bacon" which is thick and smoked on the sweet side. The trhifecta was just the right choice with two perfectly cooked over easy eggs and a Belgian waffle that well, it just melted in your mouth. I'm not a breakfast foodie, but I've always heard good things about First Watch! I decided to grab some brunch here one Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful and airy interior. It's rustic with a modern creative twist. There's door frames hanging from the ceiling, pots and pans hung up, cool wooden booths and Windows all around. The menu is on the smaller side, but that's not a bad thing! It's simple and easy to read. We ordered up the smoked salmon eggs Benedict, half Monterey sandwich and kale salad combo, a side of smoked bacon and their new meditation juice. The food was pretty good! On the smaller side, but it's definitely light and fresh. Great for a small lunch :) The bacon was on point! Crispy and a good side portion :D The service was a bit meh. If I was to really rate it on service my stars would actually be a 3.5 but I love the vibe I get here. It's busy, busy, busy! It's a longer wait to get food and any service here :( I ended up never getting my juice which I was charged with but that was taken care of with no issue! I came here because my clinical instructor mentioned this place. She said the food was really good! So I was down to give it a try because I love breakfast food! I came here on a Monday and the place was pack! We were greeted and seated promptly. So the interior is very nice. The ambiance is really nice here. I ordered the Short Rib Benedict because it sounded really good! I honestly wanted to try all of the Benedicts because they all sounded good. My classmate got the regular Benedict and my instructor got the Farmhouse skillet. The Short Rib Benedict was good but the short rib itself bland, I was expecting more flavor. The eggs were poached to perfection! It also had arugula on it under the egg, it was okay. The seasoned the potatoes were REALLY GOOOD! OMG I honestly wasn't expecting it to be so good!
