Came here for sunday brunch with two of my friends and had a great time! Good food, good service, and loved how cozy this place felt. I haven't been in the cypress area in a long time and I am glad to see that this place is still going strong since I left! We all ordered orange mimosas as well as hot coffee to go with our meals. I got the Parma Skillet Hash, one friend got the Chimichanga, and my other friend got the Biscuits and Gravy, and we all shared the French Toast. All of our meals were very good! We all kind of shared each of our meals with each other and I think my favorite was the skillet hash and the biscuits and gravy. Next time, I would definitely ask for the potatoes to be crispier. Everything besides the potatoes needing to be crispier, was well seasoned, and well portioned. We all finished everything along with our coffee and mimosas. Overall, I will definitely be back whenever I am in the area again and needing my brunch fix. If you are going on a sunday, I highly recommend coming early or setting a reservation! I think we had to wait 45 minutes for a table but that wasn't a problem as we just walked around the boardwalk and talked while we waited.

The brunch was amazing. The food was served quickly and was hot and delicious. The mimosa was a great option with multiple flavor choices available. I would definitely recommend.

As this was my first time here, I was a little bit disappointed. Upon arrival, we were told it would be a 10 minute wait to get a table. However, having worked industry before I noticed six tables were immediately open yet. We still had to wait 10 minutes to get a table. I attribute this to the younger staff who may be a little bit inexperienced. The food was nothing to write home about. As you can see from my photo, I had ordered my sandwich with no lettuce and no tomato and I basically got a lettuce and tomato sandwich with a little bit of turkey on it. Not the best. The soup, however, was amazing. The soup of the day was vegetable. My girlfriends food was also lackluster. She ordered the Gruyere and ham omelette, which was burned to a crisp on the outside rims, stacked high in the middle with the ham, and had a slice of cheese literally thrown on top of it. That wasn't fully melted. The eggs were completely overcooked and borderline inedible . The accompanying potatoes were actually very well prepared. Mimosas came with a very cheap champagne that you had to pour and mix yourself. This was OK because I like a lot more champagne than orange juice, but it seemed kind of cheap and a cop out. I'm not sure if they were just having an off day, but our waitress herself was very lovely and nice and accommodating. The staff were friendly, they just seem confused. I would give this a solid two stars for the first time out despite my 4 star upon check-in.

CYPRESS, TX 77433 / CONTEMPORARY BREAKFAST / 03-29-24 / LUNCH +The vegetable soup was pretty good. +The little ones enjoyed the pancakes. +The Monterey Club sandwich was delicious. -The hash dish was overly salty. -One of entrees came out like 10-12 minutes after everyone else's dishes.

Was taxed twice :( First was the individual items, second was the total. If it needs 85 characters....

Good food, good vibe. Slow service. We got the Veggie burger which doesn't come with any fries, that was surprising to us. They don't serve any fries. So we got it with a bowl of tomato soup that was very yummy. Also got a plate of the Veggie omelette. Ordered the Morning Meditation juice without the ice so it came in a small 12-16oz? glass, lol. Juice is refrigerated, not sure if they make it in house?

If I can give zero stars, I would. We came here last week with a big party. Everything was ok until it wasn't. I placed a to go order for family at home. They requested no bacon in the meal. Of course when I got home there was bacon in it. Called First Watch to tell them the order was wrong and they told me to come back in for them to remake it. so I drove back up there, they remake it, I get back home and now in the first bite is hair. Drove back up there, The manager tried to tell me it was from a cooking brush they use to clean the pans with. (Either way it's not edible). They gave me a $20 gift card, and no refund was issued or any sort of empathy for making us drive back and forth 3 times. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stopped by a week later, ordered the same thing to-go and get home to find bacon in the meal again. I drove back to First Watch and asked for a refund. I didn't even want them to remake it anymore. All the manager said was "I do apologize, I'll have your refund done by the end of the day". If I can give zero stars I would.

This is not how this drink usually looks. Politely asked if she could remake. Whe she brought it back it was COMPLETELY RED.

Food is amazing,no long wait. Very nice, affirmative about what I ordered, reassured me of my order. With a smile! Update after food served.. Michelle, let me give you a little advice on service. As a waitress your attitude and friendliness determines your tip. I'm a very cheerful giver. But when I asked for more red ,you argue with my SNL and tell her to stir it up. That we know, but looking at other customers beverages like the one we ordered. You were rude, impatient, inconsiderate, inhospitable and no sense of care for us 2 African American very successful ladies. The young man at the front(host) AMAZING,thank you. All I adored was may I get more red juice at the top,you seemed so frustrated as if we were bothering you. My profession was the food industry (GM) for 26 years. YOU DO NOT GO BACK AND FORTH WITH A CLIENT/CUSTOMER,EVER! I needed that drink,I wanted that drink. But I sent it back because you were being an a-hole when you brought it back with the glass being 85% red and the rest was orange. Why treat us this way. We were very professional, never rude to you. But one thing we must understand as food servers. "Every time that door opens, and you seat a guest, that is your check" No guest,no hours. Labor would be too high ,so please next time, just get it right please

Turkey burger and asked for wheat bread instead. It came with a side and I got tomato basil soup.
    Esther C.

I've only ordered breakfast here until today. I had a Turkey burger and asked for wheat bread. I didn't ask them too, but they grilled the bread and it was delicious! Also, their tomato basil soup is very good! I think their breakfast is good but their lunch items might be better. My husband ordered the breakfast taco and it was really good. Even the side of beans were good. The service was really efficient and my waitress was spot on. She was pleasant and everything came out hot and just right. We didn't wait that long for a Saturday to get our food, which I appreciated.

They accommodated us with our stroller and made it work. I am so excited that I found a farm to table restaurant where I feel like the food is good enough quality to feed my baby. We paid $50 per person for the brunch buffet and the baby was free since she is under 2. The food was delicious! They had an amazing assortment of fresh fruits, cheese, breads, salads, breakfast foods, dips, pasta, and veggies. They also had a carving station with steak and chimichurri sauce. I tried the chicken sausage, steak, beet hummus, tomato salad, whipped feta, biscuits with jam, and an assortment of the veggies & fruits. I also ordered over easy eggs and French toast which they make and bring to the table to keep them fresh but they were included in the buffet. After eating we walked around a bit to see the farm and the animals. Such a cute place for a date or a family outing. The exterior is just as beautifully decorated. It's clear that chef-owner Lori Pope poured a lot of time, heart, and soul into both the menu and the store's design. The hostess was super friendly. As soon as I walked in, she gave me a warm and smiling greeting. The menu was a feast for the eyes. It had a lot of lovely pictures of the different dishes. I was ecstatic to see that there were so many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Also, most of the dishes can be requested to be made gluten-free. Big plus. You don't order at your table, instead you go to the counter in the back and make sure to bring the sheet with your table number on it. The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. The waitress explained that prices have been fluctuating, but it did feel a little unpolished and confusing seeing gouged-out pricing on multiple items. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla, and my wife got the South of the Border omelet. We also had the roasted potatoes, which ended up being a very small portion. My main issue was that several items listed (or expected) didn't come as described. The quesadilla was supposed to come with sour cream and pico, but they weren't served on the side. We were told the pico was inside the quesadilla, which wasn't noted on the menu. Additionally, both dishes had raw, unsautéed onions mixed into the scrambled eggs. That wasn't listed in the description, and I personally don't like raw onions, so it definitely affected the meal for me. I think ingredients like that should be clearly stated. The cheese sauce tasted like standard heated nacho cheese and was very runny, not what we expected from a breakfast dish. The sour cream also tasted off. I was looking for tasting the hot honey, which appears to be under the dish as opposed to on top of it. I was looking forward to a soft fluffy biscuit, but it too was over hard. The Chicken was well cooked, a bit thin, and I'm not sure that the breading tasted anything more like Captain crunch than it did any other breading. However every time I cut into it the breading kind of just fell off into the gravy. The gravy and potatoes were redeeming, with good flavor gravy and well cooked potatoes. Overall, it wasn't bad, I ate it all, I just expected better for my $17.
