I had the Tri-Fecta which consisted of a huge multigrain pancake, two eggs over medium and chicken sausage patty. This meal was so good! The food is always fresh, delicious and prepared perfectly. There's not too much about First Watch that appeals to me. It's average breakfast foods, at slightly higher than average prices. The dishes are generic, use canned sauces, etc. They also often have a small wait. I recommend trying other local breakfast places if you're looking for scrumptious breakfast! read more

We were looking for a breakfast restaurant that served different, unusual dishes. After looking on Yelp we decided to give this one a try. We were all pleasantly surprised. First they showed us specials of the day and then their very extensive menu. I chose the quinoa blueberry lemon pancakes. They were very light and airy. With the pancakes was blueberry butter and homemade blueberry syrup. They were delicious. Needless to say we will return again soon. read more

The coffee is delicious as always. The food had obviously been under heat lights and then the runner just handed me the plate instead of putting it down in front of me. The food was then lukewarm. The soda was watered down. The server was hardly there for us. You also need a QR system to pay instead of waiting in a big line to pay. read more

The restaurant is always packed and usually there's always a wait of 10 to 15 minutes but definitely worth it. The only thing this restaurant needs to work on is food presentation. First Watch is one of the few concepts that has just gotten better over time. I am not a huge breakfast person, but invite me to First Watch and I will be there. I love the Avocado toast, the Churrizo Omelette (minus the Churrizo), the vegetable sandwich and their iced tea is really fresh (clearly they clean the heck out of their iced tea dispenser every day). The service is almost always perfect, the ambiance is great in this location as it is very bright, colorful and airy. They have outdoor seating, which is very nice, but when it gets crowded, having the waiters linger over your table is awkward as they salivate over your food. My co worker and I ordered first watch for Uber eats pickup Sunday morning. After waiting 20 mins I sent my co worker with the photos that validated what we ordered. When he showed up they were confused and said they gave this order to an uber eats driver.. They didn't give any options to make it right.. We would have gladly waited because we both enjoy first watch and hadn't had any breakfast... but instead they turned us away with no resolution.. SOL "Get a refund from Uber eats," said the whole staff. After my coworker got back from first watch, I called them myself and said it was unacceptable and that they need to work on their service, own up to their mistakes! Hooray for another First Watch location and healthy options! They have just about any brunch item on your wishlist and I love that they have a varied selection of healthier options. Coffee is always fresh and a plenty, not to mention the International Delight creamers--that just warms my heart! This location is busy due to the huge strip mall it's in so parking can get hairy. After the longest time thinking this was a watch store, I've finally made it to First Watch for a late breakfast. It was Sunday around 11:30am, so of course a bit of a wait but not too bad. i ordered the Market hash with multigrain toast instead of the english muffins. It came with the muffins but the server was prompt and brought me my toasts. The dish was delicious, the potatoes were nice, firm and not covered in grease!! To my surprise the toast was so tasty, really delish bread! My fiancé ordered the Tri-Fecta with potatoes instead of meat, and blueberry pancakes, which by the way would just melt in you mouth! I used to come here a lot and would bring people here and used to recommend this location a lot. This is why I wait a few months to a year to comment sometimes. This place was so great when it first opened up, a lot of long waits, but the food was consistently good. We stopped going because the quality seemed to not be as important as getting the food out as soon as possible anymore. Today was a fine example of this repeated occurrence. We ordered for pick up, got home and what we got was burned bottom potatoes overdone food. I was starving, so I looked past that went on. Inside this Key West Crepegg I found black avocados and not much else. Very little bacon and turkey and not much egg. In a professional kitchen, they would have quality control in the form of a expeditor and if something was burned or the wrong order was done, they would make sure the cook makes it again. As I sit here writing this, I am still starving and thinking, should I go out now at 10am when waiting times for breakfast are ridiculous, or should I just stay home and eat a pb&j? It's on the north/west side of the Deerfield Beach Mall. Same friendly quick service as the one we stumbled upon in Tampa, dishes are full, fresh and tasty. One tip, try the Vera Cruz Hollandaise sauce with your eggs! Has a kick and is very tasty. Also, you are probably going to have to park in the Publix parking north side. This is my first time at First Watch. This establishment has been open for four years and I am glad I found it. I walked in and was seated immediately. Linda was my server(had to ask what her name was) and she was very helpful explaining menu specials to me. I chose the avocado toast which is on multi grain bread served with 2 eggs. My table is facing the kitchen so I have a good viewof all the food being prepared. The customers seem happy and the place is kept clean. There are huge windows which makes the place very bright. There are booths as well as tables. My order didnt take long at all to arrive to my table. It looked as good as it tasted! The multi grain bread was toasted but still remained soft in the middle and supported the huge scoop of fresh mashed avocado that rested on top. My two free range eggs were cooked over easy and were delicious. I sopped up the egg yolk with my avocado bread. Linda left my bill (one thing , the iced tea seemed a little over priced 2.59 for a glass) and I paid at the hostess/host stand. I would definitely recommend First Watch to anyone. The food and service was beyond above par! Its located on the south west corner of powerline road and hillsboro blvd in the shopping plaza. Its not hard to find. Am writing pre eating since I know it will be fabulously delicious as usual at this chain...30 minutes later I am highly disappointed. Eggs were cold and brown with grease, salmon was not Alaskan and low quality ect. No waiting time but no wonder. Having hope that other locations haven't changed........... Updated..... I wanted to treat myself to a breakfast out after a before Easter shopping trip. I was just going to go to my old standby Chick-fil-A but First Watch caught my eye. I had been seeing so many glowing reviews on Yelp that I decided since it was my spring break I was going to enjoy myself with a nice breakfast out. Once I walked in I saw it was very crowded, always I good sign I thought. I was quickly seated and given the coffee in the carafe on the table. I was excited to see lemon ricotta pancakes on the menu. It was a recipe I have wanted to try forever on Pinterest but never got around to making. I wanted to know what ricotta added to pancakes was like and I love lemon so that's what I picked for breakfast. It turns out ricotta turns fluffy pancakes into heavy rocks. At least that is what it seemed. When they arrived I received two huge pancakes topped with a lemon curd and raw strawberries. I was disappointed because they were boring and I have made much better pancakes at home. The only lemon was the curd, there was no discernible lemon flavor in the pancake or really any flavor at all. Worse they were super heavy. Even though I only ate half I felt like I had a rock in my stomach for hours the rest of the day. The rest of the menu is focused on being healthy. They also have seasonal selections. The bill for 2 pancakes and a cup of coffee I didn't even half drink because it was too scalding hot was $13 which I thought was high. The absolute worse service possible. After waiting 30 minutes for a table the hostess tells us to sit at a table loaded with dirty dishes and says she will have someone clear the table shortly. We sit at the table for over 20 minutes with 0 service. After politely asking a waitress to clear the table another hostess comes and not only gives us attitude but leaves several dirty dishes after taking two coffee pots with her. After waiting another 10 minutes we left. This place is poorly ran, the service is atrocious and the food is average and overpriced. Do not go here unless you'd like to sit around for at least 30 minutes and then wait another 30 minutes for a waiter to come take your order. read more

I love this place. Food is always good and fresh. But the last time I was there with family we had the worst server!! That was the worst experience we ever had there. She is Hispanic, dark hair, on the heavy side. She was rude and was in a rush. Food came out cold and she didn't even stop by the table to talk. I think this location is overall pretty good. There is typically a wait but the portions are good, flavors good and they switch it up with specials. I recently had the breakfast burrito and it was very tasty. They also offer fresh juices that are fresh, flavorful and worth it.
