The perfect place for a laid back breakfast/brunch. The kale tonic juice is my favorite, and everything I've tried on the menu food wise has always been great. I usually get eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, plus a Belgian waffle or a giant pancake. The skillets and sandwiches are pretty good too. I like that there are a lot of healthy & nutritious options along with the more indulgent stuff like pancakes and million dollar bacon (heaven). I come here at least once every weekend and enjoy the food and appreciate the loving staff. I just love the way they make me and my Family feel special. Candy and Patricia are particularly accommodating. My son loves them to death. I have tried most of the breakfast dishes they offer and I have yet to be disappointed. BUT I have my fav. The trifecta with banana granola crunch eggs scrambled with bacon. Simple but yum. I have been to a number of First Watch locations throughout Florida. I had never been to First Watch before this but had heard of the popular chain. Their menu had a great amount of health breakfast plates. I choose an entree with eggs chicken and fruits. This location can use some updating. Their service was a bit slow but keep in mind it was peak time around mid day. They close early which is a bummer if you like to eat later. read more

Looking for new places to go while on vacation in Deerfield Beach and this place had a lot of good reviews and a fun menu so we thought we'd go for it. Walked in and was seated right away and was served coffee very fast. Love that they have a lot of healthier options and wanted to try several different things but settled on the chickichanga, lemon blueberry quinoa pancakes, sunrise granola bowl and the traditional breakfast. Service was friendly and fast. The chickichanga was whipped eggs with spicy chicken breast, chorizo, green chilies, cheddar, Monterey Jack cheeses, onions and avocado in a flour tortilla and topped with a green Vera Cruz sause and sour cream. It also came with fresh fruit and cubed potatoes. It was different and tasty, much like a savory crepe. The granola bowl came with nonfat vanilla yogurt layered with fresh fruit, nuts and homemade granola. It also came with a delicious blueberry muffin loaded with blueberries. The lemon blueberry pancakes came with 3 good size pancakes cooked with a nice lemon flavor, plenty of blue, and quinoa for protein. Everything was tasty, prices were average and service was good. Got sat quickly, at a 2 top next to the wall, right under an A/C vent that blasted cold air right down the wall across the table. By the time I was 1/3 of the way through my food, in a couple minutes, my food went from hot to really cold from the frigid air going across the table, that also had me shivering a bit. Asked for dry wheat and got buttered wheat because they're not making sure the food on the plate is correct before bringing it to the table, they're on auto pilot just taking orders and delivering what is handed to them. Dropped off the food and left and didn't come back to ask if everything was good until I was over halfway through my omelette, which if I stopped eating to wait for someone to ask if everything was OK would've turned frigid cold due to the A/C air blowing across the table. Basically the place seems like a fast food restaurant trying to not look like a fast food restaurant. May look quaint and special, but it's just average, not bad, but not good either. read more

I have just moved to Deerfield Beach and it's so refreshing to find genuine service and good food all in one place. I walked in for take out and it was my first time at FirstWatch. You can tell the place is clean, and everyone is happy here. When I took a few minutes to look at the menu, the GM, Tracey, was the SWEETEST. she gave me a few ideas and facts about the menu, and even gave me a few samples of the juice they carry at FirstWatch. She explained things throughly and all the heath benefits to the ingredients in the juice. Not to mention they were super tasty! The food is worth it, I usually avoid doing take out but didn't have enough time to dine in today. I got a wrap and the tomato bisque soup. Once again, I was super pleased! We Usually opt for the waffle & omelettes... and freshly squeezed orange juice. They can definitely do better with the quality of coffee served. Met my niece and fiancé for breakfast, place was crowded for a Tuesday mid-morning. Ordered Healthy Turkey, which was tasty, especially the artisanal bread. Other two ordered Farmhouse Hash and Breakfast Tacos, both said food was delicious. Coffee pot on the table was nice touch but with three of us, we ran out and had to track down server. (Ok, she was busy, but one thing you HAVE to do keep the coffee pot filled!) Overall, meal was good, no one bugged us to free up the table, which we appreciated as they were visiting from DC so we had a lot of catching up to do. I just felt that $48.86 (including tip) was a bit pricey for breakfast. But I don't eat breakfast out so maybe that's the norm. Best breakfast place I've found since buying down here. Well things have changed. Walked in at 11am. 3 of us. Were seated. NO ONE came to the table for 15 minutes. Like we were invisible. Asked the busboy if we could get a waiter or waitress. She came by. Slammed a bottle of water on the table and disappeared. After 5 more minutes we left. The service has gone to crap here.
