The food is always quality and fresh ! I get my usual Monterey club sandwich with a side of greens and it never disappoints! They have so many breakfast items as well as salads , sandwiches, skillets etc. They recently added blueberry, lemon corn bread and my family loves it . It's like dessert . If you like cornbread it's a must try but definitely big enough to share ! The service is always fast and friendly. Our service was a pleasant experience. Our server was amazing. She was extremely helpful, responsive, prompt, as well as detail oriented on specific requests. (I believe her name was Sidney?). Foods must to come out together. Our family had 2 orders of avocado toast. One arrived first thing, the other was minutes after all food was served. (My wife's was last) As a large profitable franchise, I'd focus on the layout. The front wait area is not comfortable, walking through the dining room has no flow, families are smashed and sat into uncomfortable booths, tables, with no room to walk around when chairs have guests pulled out from tables and enjoying themselves. We were trying to navigate our son's wheelchair to our seat. I'd strongly advised removing front entry checkout. Has no reason whatsoever in today's world. Nothing is efficient. First watch has an amazing selection of breakfast and lunch items. Their portions are huge. Their pancakes are the size of a dinner plate so unless you're starving one is sufficient. Their bacon is crispy the way I love it. Although I didn't get it today their Bloody Mary is awesome. It's topped with their million dollar bacon. They have a nice selection of healthier options as well. The oatmeal is delicious. Weekends are really busy. I suggest getting the app and getting on the waitlist. Came here on our trip's last day for breakfast, because we wanted something hearty before the flight home. We were seated immediately and was greeted with great service. Quite fitting for a morning riser food place. We walked in and felt right at home, a little rustic vibe and the menu looked like newspapers. The food itself was a little pricey for the portion size but everything tasted great. The plates were dressed very nicely, I'll give it that much. Love First Watch! I'm currently on a restricted meal plan and so thankful for this place having many options to fit the mold! I tried the Avocado chicken chop salad and the citrus dressing was the perfect addition! It was a very summery salad which I loved and it was just the right size. I just love First Watch. The experience, the food and the consistency in service no matter which one you visit. One of these days, I will take photos of my meal. Ha! I've sampled their two vegan options or can be made vegan and love them both. Especially the veggie burger with the avocado smash. I thought I would get an Orange Juice, but the Mint Mocha Iced Coffee had my name on it. Yum! I was so hungry, I didn't take any pictures of my food. I had the Works omelette with a side of sausage and grits. Very tasty. I had a window seat with the curtains down. Having the sun rise on my face was nice without blinding me. I had the chimichanga (whipped eggs with spicy chicken, chorizo sausage, green chilies, cheese, onions, and avocado rolled tortilla topped with sauce and sour cream - served with potatoes) and it was delicious. My favorite thing was the morning meditation freshly squeezed juice which was a blend of orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar, and beet. we also got the million-dollar bacon for the table and that was also really good. We ate here while in Nashville so I looked to see if there were any locations near me but sadly the closest one is in Union NJ. Pleasantly surprised by an almost accidental trip into First Watch. Mentally, I've always loaded First Watch into the same dull bucket as Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel, a place to get breakfast when you're on the road and have few other options. Not so anymore. A refreshing menu at the intersection of American traditional breakfast and hipster chic, with better coffee than you'd expect from a chain. Service was prompt and discreet, about all I can ask from them considering how busy they were for brunch. Despite the crowd (and full parking lot), there wasn't a wait for a table, and the dining room rarely rose above a soft din.
