There's a reason this breakfast/lunch chain is always busy - the food is fresh and the service is friendly. My husband and I rolled in around 1:45 and waited approx 10 minutes. Our 2 top table was very small and in a corner next to the kitchen - not ideal but wasn't too bad. My husband ordered the protein punched Power Bowl with quinoa, kale, carrots, chicken and a few other fresh ingredients. Although he liked it, he felt it was slightly bland and dashed on some hot sauce. I had the 2 for You and got the Pecan Dijon salad with a cup of Tomato Basil soup. Salad was a combo of greens, chicken, pecans, avocado, bacon with a warm honey Dijon dressing. Very tasty combination, but too much dressing (and I'm a girl who loves her some dressing!) I would def order again, but light on the dressing or ordered on the side. We will definitely go back - the new Florence location is close to home and the decor is cozy - love the unique light fixtures and hard wood floors. They offer a "community" table if you don't mind sitting with others and want to avoid the slight wait. I got to first watch in florence at 12 :30. There were at least 10 tables open and clean. I was told there would be a 35 min wait. I went outside and waited as I watched at least 10 parties come in and leave due to the wait. Then I saw a part of 7 go right in and get seated after I had waited 35 minutes. I finally got called in to be seated and waited 5 minutes exactly, just to find out who my server was and of course by then who wouldn't know what they wanted to eat. So I order, 15 minutes later I received my food. It is a good thing the food is great otherwise they would not have my future business. I think I will stick to takeout with this location tho. Today was my first visit to this First Watch location. The food was great as usual, biscuits were delightful and freshly baked, the interior was cute and cozy and the staff was friendly. The food came out quickly and correct. We were in and out before we knew it. Our server was super friendly but made me feel a bit rushed. As soon as we were seated we were asked if we were ready to order, which is OK, I told her no but we were literally asked two-three more times in less than 10 minutes. Yum! It was so hard to pick what to get here because everything on the menu looked so good! We sat outside for our brunch. We got a pot of coffee, which was nice so we could just refill ourselves. We got an order of millionaires bacon to split. Soooo good. I got the elevated egg sandwich with potatoes, very delicious. My husband got the pumpkin pancake breakfast, which he liked, but was jealous of my sandwich. We will be back soon to try more off the menu! read more

What a great find! Healthy food and great atmosphere. Since I was by myself, I sat at the community table--kind of European style--and had really nice conversations with complete strangers. I ordered the first thing I saw on the menu, which was actually a special--the avocado toast with eggs. Very good--not too much, but filling nonetheless. Although I only drank water, the woman sitting across from me had the cucumber mint refresher to drink, also from the special menu. I must definitely try this next time. I have only one complaint: they did not have Tabasco on the table or off. Instead they had one of those other brands. Honestly, I can't imagine a world with eggs and no Tabasco! I'm giving First Watch five stars anyway because I was so impressed with the quality of food I had plus what I saw on the menu that I want to try on my next visit. Had to drive up to Cincinnati to drop someone off. On my way back to Louisville Kentucky I stopped at this first watch for breakfast. My waitress name was J. The cheese grits was cooked to perfection and the scrambled eggs was light just perfect. I went back and forth about the turkey sausage and the chicken patty. I highly advise avoiding this place if at all possible. The staff is rude and unhelpful, the food is the most ridiculous overpriced crap you will find in northern Kentucky, and they take a ridiculously long time to process orders. They allowed a door dash driver to take my order and couldn't figure it out for several minutes, told me to contact door dash for a refund (who in turn told me to contact them), and then continued to claim it wasn't their fault. The real mystery here is how such an incompetent restaurant has remained in business with such high prices and low quality service. Bottom line: if you want a decent breakfast with staff that knows what they are doing, avoid this place. read more

I'm saddened today because one of the few places that I've been able to count on over the years has really let me down. In the past, First Watch has been a place that provided out both great food and service. Since the pandemic, every place has had a decrease in their ability to provide the same level of service they have in the past, so I've lowered my expectations. Today, our food took a long time to come out. When we took our first bite, our omelettes and my potatoes were cold. The waffle that I received was not completely cooked. The Million Dollar bacon was the best part of the meal, however it came out about 10 minutes after we received the rest of our food. My wife told our server that my omelette would be taken off the bill. So as we were leaving and after I paid our bill, the hostess told me that I still had a remained check that needed to be paid. It was my cold omelette. Rather than spending time to chase down my server I also paid this build as well, after paying and tipping for what I had assumed was our entire bill. I will not be dining at this location in the future due to how this situation was handled. read more

I always go to first watch for breakfast whenever I get the chance out of my busy schedule. And I can tell you it never disappoints. From the servers to the cooks all the way down to the bussers everyone their is so nice and caring and it makes it much more comfortable for a person like me who is uneasy about going to eat in public. Today was easily the best experience I've had the server was super nice and let me enjoy my food but also was super attentive. Whoever cooked the food today it was THE BEST ITS EVER BEEN. I went to this restaurant. At 11 AM to have brunch. We didn't get seated until around 12. And our food didn't come out till around 1 o'clock. When we did get the food it was ice cold. The waitress offered to have it redone fresh but I said no because it took us so long and I was starving. I didn't feel like I needed to wait because that food should've come out hot. I don't know what the hoopala is but I don't think this place deserves four stars. read more

We were seated quickly at a "community table," which we didn't mind because only one other couple was seated there. He got the Floridian French Toast, which he loved and it looked amazing.
