I have been tempted to come and try this place out and I finally found the chance. It was a busy morning but food came quickly. They have plenty of seating and a "bar" for lone guests. The biscuits and gravy were very awesome it was turkey sausage. The eggs were cooked well and not runny. The Potato's were well seasoned. One thing I found odd, maybe because I was at the "bar", was that they printed the receipt right after they took my order. On the receipt it had a QR code so that I could pay instantly. I have a million nice things to say about this place so let's see if I can fit them all here. To start with, the staff (servers, runners, manager, even those bussing the tables) were all such lovely people. We had questions about their specials and they were happy to explain everything we needed to know and the manager even sat down with us to share his favorites and show off their reservation system online. Such nice, attentive people! They sold us on a few of their specials including the lemon ricotta pancakes (both sweet and tart and super fluffy), the iced honey crunch latte (a ton of honey taste and the best whipped cream I've ever tasted), and the millionaire bacon (slightly sweet melt in your mouth bacon). The pea flower drink, the Purple Haze (?), was really good too! And very pretty with the addition of the pea flower. I also had the egg sandwich with avocado and it was so yummy. Very fluffy bun, really creamy avocado, and a hint of lemon. Really good balance. We were recommended the breakfast tacos & the chimichanga menu item and will try those along with the biscuits & gravy next time. The place has only just opened but is already running quite smoothly (props to the staff for that). It's a really nice space with wood floors and a very open floor plan so you can see around the restaurant. You can actually see a little bit into the kitchen too! Very modern look. If you've been to Famous Dave's BBQ in Greenwood, this is what just replaced it. We had about a 40 minute wait so if you plan on going on a Saturday around 11:30 be prepared. Once we were seated our waitress was great. I got the farmhouse hash which was good but the next time I think I'd ask for hot sauce. I felt like it was missing just a little bit of something. We had lunch here yesterday. The place was packed but operating smoothly with great team work. Saw a lot of smiles on the team. Every table seemed full but the noise level was acceptable and there was enough room around the tables. Food was perfect and we both ate every scrap. Clean, not a lot of salt or fat, and I love getting a salad instead of potatoes if wanted. We have eaten at all the Indy locations and the food was exactly the same. My first time here - there was a wait but if you are willing to sit outside or sit at the bar area it will cut your wait time. The parking is plentiful so that was a perk. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, seasoned potatoes and the million dollar bacon and was NOT disappointed!! So good....i can't wait to go back as there were many things I wanted to try! They did a great job renovating the Famous Dave's BBQ in to a bright cheery dining room! Sadly, It goes down from there.... After waiting almost an hour (thats to be expected), once we were seated nobody bothered to check on us for 20 minutes. After finally getting a server to take our order it was another 10 minutes before we saw our drinks. Our server told us that their "beverage host" was pretty backed up but she said they wont be there fast? The menu was pretty average and so was the food, not bad but not worth the prices they were charging. The breakfast potatoes were undercooked and my omelette was luke warm at best. After we got our check paid for the refill host came around and got our drinks to ys, but we were ready to go. The best I can say is that it's "ok".... Id rather go to Antilogy or Taxman. read more

While the food was decent and ambiance okay for what it is, when you get your meal with syrup stains from another meal on it, it is not very appetizing. Some food was right under the old syrup, yet all they did was replace the plate with a new one, but put the same exact food back on. It was my wife's birthday breakfast, so I did not want to make a stink. I simply at some of the food on the other side of the plate, and took the rest home to reheat. They were charging me anyway. I was delighted when I saw First Watch was here as I had gone to the one in Florida and really enjoyed it. One of my favorites is there a grilled cheese and tomato soup. We had breakfast this morning about 8:45. The restaurant is light, airy and beautifully done, but the service was extremely slow. We weren't sure our server knew we were there. A person at another table had to get up and go look for someone to take his order. The hostess desk (for checking in, waiting and paying) so close to the front door is awkward with everyone piling up. There were no rugs coming into the lobby and the tile floor was wet and slippery from the rain. We won't be back any time soon because of slow service and/or staff shortages. read more

Was told the wait was 20-30 minutes and waited 50 minutes due to people who did the online 'get in line' option, which didn't know was available until the gentleman who was in-front of us went to the hostess upset that he was still waiting while people who just came in got seated. She explained that to him but then sat him due to him waiting so long. It just seems like they need some sort of communication with the wait list options so people don't have to sit, wait, and get upset about the delay of others getting seated before them. The place is gorgeous and the food is amazing. Every other time I have come here I have had wonderful service, however, our waitress named Leslie was incredibly rude, unpleasant, and hostile. It came to a point where we were scared to ask for anything else. When my daughter's food came out, it was incorrect. We politely told her, and she impatiently rushed her while taking her plate. She never apologized. Then 20 minutes later, after all of us except my daughter were all done with our food, I kindly asked her if she had any idea when her food would be out. She raised her voice at me and said "Listen I put the order in. You're just gonna have to wait." She stormed away and rolled her eyes at us. This First Watch location opened Monday October 23rd and I had a chance to visit today. The only thing that bothered me was that I checked in before I got there and once I arrived to check in they couldn't find my name. They finally found me on their list the wait was 30-45mins which was fine but after 45mins I still hadn't received a text for my table so we went in to see what was going on. Once we got inside they couldn't find my name on their list again as being checked in but they were really nice about it and ended up getting us seated anyway. Our waitress Lena was the absolute best!! She greeted us with a smile, she was so welcoming and sweet. She made up for everything that we went through before we were seated. The food was great, the atmosphere was nice and to be honest everyone was really friendly and happy. I'm so glad they opened this location on US 31 it's not far from where I live, I loved it and I'll definitely be back! hopefully I'll get another seat in Lena's section! read more
