This place was delicious! Our waitress was super sweet and very on top of it. The food was great. I got the classic eggs benedict with the fresh potatoes and it was very good. When you have to clean your own utensils at the table with hot water because it's the third time you've asked for clean mugs and clean utensils, there's a problem. My husband and I moved to the area a year ago. When first coming to this location, it was cleanly and the food and service were great. Not sure what happened, but this place is a dump. The food is always wrong (i.e missing food, wrong order, or just nasty undercooked. A rushed meal). As stated earlier, the dishes are never clean which is a complete turn off. I had to ask to use plastic to go coffee cups and was afraid to drink the water. The wait is rediculous. I made sure to put us on the waitlist through the app, then showed up right on time to be seated and had to wait another 15 minutes. Last time we voiced our concerns to the manager, although he gave us a coupon, he made us feel like it was our fault for complaining saying we were the only table with issues. I'm attentive to what goes in my mouth. Especially considering I'm 2 months pregnant and dont need to get sick or catch anything from unwashed dishes! It's time for a change of management or a health inspector to come through. If the stuff coming out is nasty, I cant imagine what it's like behind the scenes! I've been to this location a few times. Each time a different experience. First and foremost the service is exceptional, really can't complain about the service. My visits have been when it's busy and first thing in the morning when they are just opening for business. Just like anything else we all have our good days and bad days. In reviewing the food I would have to say that this location is very inconsistent. They use the highest quality ingredients and it shows but as far as the kitchen is concerned and the way the food is prepared is not acceptable. I received my food cold and I've received my food overcooked, as you can see by the photo. The egg and the photo was supposed to be over easy as you can see the over easy egg is more over hard then or easy. Honestly, with food and service like this I could come to First Watch every day if I could! I'm so fat and happy right now. I am visiting a friend and she suggested we come get a nice brunch to start our day. I almost didn't want to come because it has been raining since I got in town, but we weren't even completely through the front door when we were greeted by the manager, Cristian with a warm welcome. Our server Danielle was as equally welcoming and warm. She was really patient with our indecisiveness and even after we got our meal both she and Cristian came by numerous times asking if we were okay and making kind chit chat. So needless to say the service was awesome!!! Then when you add the food being soooo good (oh my God, the pumpkin pancake was the best pumpkin flavored anything I have ever had! and the farmhouse skillet hash was fantastic!) like it's no wonder people wait in line to come here! I LOVE FIRST WATCH! Love the food, the concept, the prices. I've eaten at several different locations (Lauderdale by the Sea, Hollywood, Dania Pointe & Lauderhill). And when I go, I am prepared to wait. BUT-- Lauderhill is the MOST disorganized EVER. Every single time we place a phone order for pick-up, something is missing. This past Saturday we waited 35+ minutes for a to-go order and when we asked if it was ready yet, they suddenly found our order and brought it out. The grilled sandwich was barely warm and there was no salad dressing with the cobb salad! Come on Lauderhill... get it together. read more

So I came here with two of my friends for breakfast after our morning workout. Everything was delicious. They have a couple vegan options and plenty of vegetarian options. They even had soy creamer. Their steel cut oatmeal is made with water but they put pecans and fruit on top, and it was everything!! The potatoes were delicious too. My friends enjoyed their food too. It is a little bit of a wait sometimes but you can either make a reservation or put your name on the list as you're driving there for less of a wait. They are always busy but it took a reasonable maybe 25 minutes for our food. 5 stars! read more

There was a super long wait because we came in at noon on a Saturday. Jay was amazing they told us it was a 30 minute wait, but I got a text on my phone with the link that constantly updated us on our place in line, and then got another text when our table is ready. We were able to go to some local stores to kill time and come back to eat. Our server Jay was amazing, and every other person that helped us was super helpful and friendly. Went about 1:00 PM and it started off very very slow. The manager asked if someone had been over to see us after about 10 mins and as soon as I said NO a lady came by and said she'd be right with us as she went in the kitchen. When she came back about 3 mins later she asked us if we wanted drinks and unfortunately my daughter asked her if she could test taste the Summer Blush drink and the waitress said yes. She never took my drink order. She came back and dropped the tester off, went to another table and didn't come back to our table for another 14 mins. She was taking care of one table at a time, meaning asking her tables if they were ok and if they asked for something she'd go get it then drop off then go to the next table and repeat. She had about 4 tables not including us. All I wanted was coffee and she could've continued. Once she came back 14 mins later she asked for the drinks and tried to run off to get them. I stopped her as she was leaving to give her the food order because I didn't know how long it would take her to get back to us. She was all over the place. Her other tables even started walking to the register to pay because they couldn't get her back to their tables to get the checks. The manager wasn't even trying to help the poor lady when there was no line at the register. I'm pretty sure he saw how she could NOT multitask. Anywho after about another 10 mins to get our food, which was very reasonable, she then gave us her undivided attention and things went smooth from that point on. I guess because the crowd died down cause it was storming outside. The food was good. Just service too slow and I don't think the manager cares. After waiting an hour for the food everything was cold and poorly cooked. The waffle was undercooked and cold. My egg sandwich barely had any avocado and the brioche bread was as cold as it can get. The egg wasn't even visible and what did make it in the sandwich was poorly cooked. My partner ordered a classic egg Benedict which was served hot but somehow the ham was cold?? So I decided to take my mother and wife to breakfast and this place just opened 4 days ago. First let start off with as we pulled up we noticed that there was 2 managers help a young family pulling down the shade for them asking them how their meal was. As we walked up to the door there was a greeter who opened the door for us. We were seated promptly and our server was greeted us at our table within 2 minutes of sitting. Everything was clean and in its place. Our order came out fast. In total we spent less than 40min in the restaurant this included us just talking for about 20min after we finished eating. I have been to many First Watch restaurants and this was the only experience worth leaving a review about not that the others were bad they were just expected experiences. I was blown away by the service and appearance. My Mother is hard to please and she loved as well my wife will probably be asking me to make this a weekly habit. But if this place stays as nice as it is now this will not be a problem. The price are very reasonable. You can eat on a low budget and still stay healthy, or you can go all out and not feel guilty. read more

Absolutely impressed with this place. I came with my 2 1/2 year old who loved the biscuits and gravy, I just happened to drive by and saw the name pulled in and realized it was a breakfast spot it's extremely clean the service is phenomenal. My server was very tentative however I did forget his name. Everyone was super friendly and helpful even other servers would walk past and ask how my meal is. I give this place five stars and every area of their restaurant operation. I worked in the restaurant industry as a server or bartender for six years so I have very high expectations when I go to a restaurant and I must say I was very impressed. The food is absolutely flawless. I had the biscuits with sausage gravy sauce with the homefry style potatoes scrambled eggs with melted cheese and a banana nut pancake. Everything was made so fresh cooked perfectly. And to top it all off it's reasonably priced. This is not your average breakfast spot even the coffee was good. I am a fan of "First Watch's" from a long time and went frequently to the Sunrise location over the years. Was very excited when this Tamarac location opened because its so close to my house. Love the new location decor and all. The food is always good. And I love the ever changing specials. Only complaint I had that the service isn't on point as the Sunrise location. There is the occasional toast I want without butter but yet I have tons of butter on my toast. I ask to egg sunny side up but yet they arrive scrambled. Pancakes but they she didn't bring the syrup. Not saying all wait-stuff is bad but my impression was some work harder then others. Some just stand around instead of cleaning up tables to accommodate customers waiting to be seated. Maybe I shouldn't care about these things but I think its set the atmosphere to a good restaurant. read more
