Main issue I had with this restaurant was that they will offer you free refills for hot coffee, but order a cold brew coffee and you have to pay for another glass. I could have just ordered a hot coffee and a cup of ice for free....and to charge $4.19 for a glass of iced coffee is absurd! This wasn't a specialty drink, but just coffee with ice. I still had to add sugar, cream, etc, for $4.19? No sir! The food was just ok. I had the Chile chorizo omelet which only had very tiny bits of chorizo so it was nearly just bland eggs (no seasoning) with a bunch of onions and about a tablespoon or chorizo in total. My boyfriend had the chickichanga which was better with more flavor and came with potatoes where my omelet came with a salad unless, again I wanted to pay more for potatoes that are already included with many other entrees at no extra charge. Stop nickel and diming your customers to death! The place is loud, super busy with constant people walking right next to you if you were unlucky enough to be seated in the center of the restaurant, and really hard to enjoy a Sunday breakfast out in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. For this service and $65 for a breakfast for 2, we won't be back! read more

New favorite breakfast spot! I was looking for a healthy breakfast/brunch place in the area & my boyfriend told me about this place that was right across the street! As soon as I saw the menu, I was in love! A lot of healthy, tasty options. The breakfast tacos were amazing. I make breakfast burritos a lot at home so to find a restaurant with tacos with a similar recipe was great. His omelet was good as well. Nice portion sizes. Typical prices for a restaurant like this. Get there early so you can be put on the wait list or just do no go at peak times where the wait can be anywhere between 20-40 minutes. Service is great, and food options are always good! Seasonal specials can help make this experience a little different every time. There is a community table in this restaurant, which is good for those dining alone or a couple that just wants a quick bite without the wait!. You can seat yourself at the community table but it will be a shared dinning experience for as many that can fit - may or may not be your cup of tea, but this is definitely a plus in this busy restaurant! They tried to fix their mistakes which is nice but the bowl with the raw egg would need to be recooked as there was raw egg all over it and at this point we had already been sat for over an hour and didn't want to wait for mediocre food. We have eaten at other First Watches and although the staff at this location was very accommodating to my gluten allergy and also very friendly, the food was just horrible. For our breakfast my husband got the meat omelette and I got farmers hash. The potatoes in both dishes were not only very undercooked but so darn salty neither of us could eat them. And we are salt people too. My gluten free toast was only toasted on one side and hard as a rock/stale as was my husbands who had regular toast. Coffee was terrible and not enjoyable what so ever. Then to top it all off both of us later that night got horrible diarrhea and the same time. That was not fun! We're so disappointed because it's so close to where we will be visiting a lot and won't be coming back. read more

Have eaten here (and in Northern Virginia) many times. Love everything about the place. Primarily, the food choices are different than in traditional restaurants. The food is of the highest quality, and costs more as a result, but a lot of us are careful about what we put in our body. You have to pay for quality in our country; always have, always will, no matter the product. The food is prepared and served in a reasonable time, regardless of the crowd. The servers are always polite and helpful, very professional. I am particularly fond of the kale tonic and the smoked salmon frittata (don't forget to trill the "r"!) with a slice of toasted ciabatta. This was my first time ordering this dish, which is uh-maze-ing. The freshness of the lemon-dressed arugula on the sandwich really sets it off. Other than that, this location is pretty typical. Slow to seat you, slow to serve you, slow to turn tables. I love me some First Watch, but I feel like if they'd just turn tables faster, their customers' wait times would be so much shorter than they'd be so much more profitable. I'll have to visit again to try them as this one I didn't want to overdo it with the carbs. I had the Tre-Athlete egg white omelette. I forget what my husband had, it was some kind of omelette with potatoes. We both had coffee. Everything was delicious and we both ate everything on our plates.
