I ordered the Chipotle Steak and Egg breakfast. Hidden under the steak bits and egg bits there was "potato mountain"! Not worth $16.49. Smoke and mirrors meal. Coffee was okay and they give you a pot for refills. Extra side of fruit cup at $4.79 was the only nourishment. Staff was very nice.

TLDR: Moldy bread, bad service, poor compensation Decided to try a new place for a Sunday Brunch... Some of the slowest service I've experienced. No waiter to be seen for 15 minutes, then didn't see food for another 45 minutes. Once the food arrived I started with the bread, and someone with me pointed out the MOLD patches after I had taken a bite. Had to spit it out, and ended up spraying my omelette in the process. No check-in from the waiter after about 10 minutes, so I walked it back to the kitchen and brought it to their attention. No apologies or concern, just an offer to "remake it". Cherry on top? They were out of the "fresh baked" bread so it was subbed out. The waiter took my meal off of the check, but I still ended up paying for my coffee and juice. Honestly I would've liked to see the entire visit subbed. Hope a food inspector sees this and takes a visit!

Thursday brunch, Party of two dined in and I ordered salmon frittata, gosh it was way too salty, and i left 90% of it Even the side of potatoes were salty too I mentioned that to waitress She said she would tell the manager I should have mentioned it as soon as i tasted it but i lost the chance and then at the end , i mentioned to the hostesses when i went to pay as feedback Because i liked the place and hope they change it or make it better But the service was good Place was fairly busy so was not attentive but overall good service

First Watch is an interesting place. It's a chain that feels like a one off, that focuses on seasonal specials. To me they're either really good or just ok but I appreciate the effort. The servers are very friendly but also seem very busy. It's a very loud restaurant, so expect to speak up and you'll also hear a lot of your neighbors conversation

This place is always busy resy is recommended to cut the wait time, the service is nice and prompt, food is good has its unique touches and flare. Has been one of my go to spots as of recent in Montgomeryville.

I was immediately turned off when we came in and we were seated behind the cash register when it's not even busy. I find this offensive. My meal was fine. I found the grits a little lumpy like water was added when they stay in the pot too long.?Not there best effort. I'll assume it was a bad day. Usually my meals are much better.

As usual, First Watch does not disappoint. Everyone very polite, and checked in with you just enough (not too frequent and not infrequently either). The serving size for the food is excellent, especially for the price. I even had to take 1/2 of my breakfast home. Although it was fairly busy at 8:45 am due to school's having off, the environment was pretty quiet with music softly playing in the background. I will continue to recommend First Watch Montgomeryville, PA to others

Finally made it! I stopped by in December and they weren't open yet. Decided to get over there this morning...glad I did! The food was excellent, the service was top notch and the interior was warm and inviting! I never had turkey sausage gravy before but it tasted amazing! The potatoes were well seasoned and the eggs were perfectly prepared. A nice big mug of coffee and my own insulated pot! I will DEFINITELY be going back! Every now and then I like to go for a drive and stop somewhere special for a meal out...I think I found a new destination.

By far, Josh was one of the nicest, most efficient servers we have ever had the pleasure of taking care of us. They are lucky to have him.

The menu needs updating. Half the plate is covered with greens. Service was good. Can get more value for money at other restaurants.

I've also had problems with their advertisement post on instagram. They advertise specific item's on Instagram for a specific day, but when I show up, the cashier has no idea what I'm talking about. A couple months ago they were advertising house made lemonade on a specific day. I show them the post, and they say they don't sell lemonade and they weren't sure why the owner posted the video, even though my video says otherwise. They also advertise smash burgers on Sundays, but when I show up, they have every excuse imaginable for not having them. I've tried to order sticky buns, which they only have available on the weekends, but they'll have every excuse imaginable for not having them on Saturdays or Sundays. Overall, the business is clearly poorly managed. Don't waste your time visiting unless you're expecting to be disappointed.

In my opinion, they have the best happy hour in the area. It's every day from 5-7 PM, which is a refreshing change from the typical Monday-Friday happy hours that end at 6. We usually sit at the bar, and the bartenders are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome. The happy hour food and drink specials are a fantastic value. It's easy to enjoy a great evening out for under $50, which is becoming harder to find these days. The crowd is usually friendly too, making it a fun place to relax and socialize. As for the food, I honestly can't remember having a bad meal here. Everything we've ordered has been flavorful, satisfying, and generously portioned. Unlike many restaurants today, you don't leave feeling like you paid inflated prices for tiny portions. If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, an outstanding happy hour, and a welcoming atmosphere, the Metropolitan Diner is definitely worth a visit. It's become one of our favorite local spots, and we'll be back many more times.

I came back this weekend to visit my family and we needed a table of 7 on a busy Sunday suitable for babies and hungry kids, We were sat within a reasonable time and the food was good. The service was attentive BUT the reason this place gets 5 stars is because of the community. There was an older gentleman with a hearing aid and grandfatherly manner that approached our table for polite conversation. In between bites of raisin French toast and a corned beef omelette, we engaged and introduced him to our 4 month old family member. He couldn't have been nicer, or so we thought. After a few minutes of pleasantries, we wish each other well and I asked for the check. It turns out this man paid for our meal. I literally jumped up and tried to find him outdoors but just like that, he was gone. I just want to say thank you to the gentleman and waitstaff. Apparently, he's done that multiple times and aside from leaving a good tip and paying it forward, a great review is the least I can do. Thanks!

The menu was as basic as it gets, with no specials or anything to make the offerings stand out. A blackboard with daily features could have added some much-needed variety. Service was similarly uninspired. The staff was polite but not particularly warm or attentive. Our coffee cups sat empty for far too long, and we sat for quite some time, waiting for refills that never came. Oddly enough, the highlight of the experience wasn't the food but another waitress, who cheerfully sang along with the radio. She seemed to be the only one genuinely enjoying her job, and we couldn't help but wish she had been our server. As for the food? It was edible. Nothing was bad, but not memorable either. We left fed but still craving a breakfast spot that delivers both flavor and atmosphere. .
