The honey pecan salad definitely has a string Dijon mustard taste but it was good. The bacon on the sandwiches was fresh and crisp. We went middle of the week so we're able to be seated right away but the weekends you will wait.

We went on a Tuesday morning and there was no wait. Megan was our waitress and she was great. Very pleasant and attentive. Food and coffee were good. We had blueberry cornbread, the Chickenchanga, and the traditional breakfast. All decent sized servings.

The food was tasty once it arrived. However, it did take a good bit of time to get to that point. The odd part was in our party of two it took an additional 10 minutes for my order to arrive after the omelette was delivered. Then I only received part of the order-- the potatoes. Took another 10 minutes for the eggs Benedict, which at that point, my other party was almost finished. It didn't make for the dining experience we had hoped for having not been imhere in years, we were really looking forward to it. The food: good, bad and other-- The Watermelon Wake up was quite refreshing and that limed mint sugar rim was on point! The eggs benwdict--- that hollandaise really brought the lemon twang! Would have been very tasty on the potatoes had there been any left at that point. The ham was perfectly thinly shaven. The poached eggs were a touch over poached with a gooey versus oozy consistency. The tomato was juicy & tasted like a solid summer tomato. The "tossed greens" were dry and lacked dressing but were fixed by the requested addition of dressing supplied. The potatoes were inconsistent in that the larger chunks were under-cooked but the ones that were smaller had a GREAT crust that almost made them taste like yummy potato pancakes with a small scattering of well done onions! The ham & grueye omelette was enjoyed (with the same issue on the tossed mixed greens). I would consider returning but for the $75 pricetag (after tax and tip), it wouldn't be too soon, unfortunately...

Great food and an early morning breakfast are available for all early birds like me. The First Watch offers the classic French Toast breakfast that my husband loves.

We hadn't visited First Watch in months. Should have avoided it altogether. I ordered " Traditional Eggs Benedict " with potatoes on the side. I'm including a photo of the dish. Sliced deli ham on a very hard hoagie roll with eggs and tomato with a sauce that was so lemony that it overpower everything. I could barely cut through the roll. Finally gave up and scraped the eggs off and ate them. The potatoes were so overcooked they were burnt. My husband had to send his meal back too. Waffle was raw in the middle and the bacon looked like it had been drenched in grease. It was awful. Our server was friendly and was obviously embarrassed. We won't be back.

Not a bad brunch spot. They have a lot of options on their menu and there is always something to choose from. If you're going on a Sunday after church, I highly recommend putting in your name online as they usually have a line going out the door. I think the staff here is friendly and works really hard to accommodate the tables they are assigned to. They almost appear overworked, but I know they're trying their best and I always have a great experience. As for the food, it's nothing special. I think for what you get, it is reasonably priced and tastes good, but nothing blew me away. I think it's a great option for a quick breakfast/brunch and you're not looking to spend too much.

15 min wait on a Thursday morning and 30 min wait for food. Outdoor area was dirty. All planters full of dead plants. Got my order wrong so could not eat with group. When they finally brought my order it was not gluten free.

I had the pleasure of enjoying food with my mom from First Watch on Friday 17 August 2024 [ This was our first time trying this place ] !! I ordered the TriFecta for the both of us with an Iced Coffee for me and she opted for the Purple Haze ,, The food tasted absolutely amazing but there were a few cons such as the portion size of the food being smaller than expected ( the 1 Sausage for the TriFecta meal for example and also the Iced Coffee had absolutely no sugar in it .. ) Due to the price that I paid in total I was just expecting a larger portion!! Giving this restaurant 4 Stars!! I think that I will be a possible visitor again in the future!!

I've been wanting to try the breakfast here for a while. The last time I was here the wait was so long we ended up leaving. But we didn't have any trouble getting a table on a weekday. The food and the service were both very good. My friend's Floridian French Toast looked absolutely amazing. She said it was so good she ate the whole thing. I had a market veg omelette with home fries. This is going to sound weird but the whole grain toast was so frickin good! Just like homemade and the strawberry jam on the side was scrumptious. It was honestly my favorite part. I am looking forward to coming back with my family and trying other things.

We stopped by the first watch in the Mt. Pleasant shopping centers for a late lunch and it was unfortunately disappointing. We got the Salmon Benedict and the new prosciutto special toast. Eggs Benedict are usually my go to brunch item, but this salmon tasted like it was prepackaged and was very salty, the eggs were not poached well, and the hollandaise lacked flavor. However I did also get the kale and Fuji apple fresh pressed juice which was one of the better I've had! The special was fine, nothing to write home about. Our service was great though! We were seated right away and it's a cute place to grab a group and get a quick bite to eat.

We came here for breakfast while on vacation in Mount Pleasant, SC. The restaurant was clean, open and airy. Breakfast was amazing! Our server, Erin, was sociable and patient. I had Blackberry with Lemon Curd challah French toast. When I ordered, Erin called it an emotional support breakfast! Love that! She was not wrong! It was so good and light! I ate the whole thing! My husband had multi grain pancakes-carrot cake style. There were 2 pancakes, which he could not even finish. THAT is not usually the way it goes! To drink, I had ice coffee which had a sweet foam on the top. It was so good, I ordered a second. We were seated near the kitchen, and all of the food coming out looked so delicious! If you are in the area, consider First Watch for breakfast, brunch or lunch!

This place is a joke. If you don't know how to cook certain dishes why have them in menu? They brought overcooked and broken eggs on benedict and tried to cover it flipping, we asked to redo it and in 5 minutes they brining messed up eggs again with yolk spilling on a plate. Clearly person in the kitchen doesn't know what he is doing there. If to be picky they served us oversalted grits and burned potatoes as well. And then so called manager is coming and asking "What is wrong?". Like man, you supposed to be a on top of what you got here in this restaurant and it's right in front of you on a plate "what is going on". Wages spent on this manager is probably the most waste of this restaurant. read more

I was coming back from Beautiful Beaufort NC w my 3 BBF's from an impromptu 4 day vacation an we stopped in First Watch in Mt Plesant Sc. They were slammed w people, understaffed like ALL the businesses in the southeast, including mine. However this what appeared to be assistant manager Sydney ( hect she could have just been that take charge type ) took over this not so well trained hostess who was definitely frazzled. And got everyone seated, orders taken, and WOW - our meal was spot on !! I'm an employer an as badly written as I maybe. This woman definitely needs to be told often. Thank You. Their online ordering system for pick up is smooth as room temp butter. The food has consistently been prepared properly and packaged well (I accident turned the soup container upside down and nothing leaked out). The staff are nice when I go in to pick up. Parking is relatively easy. I will be back A LOT. read more

A frequent visitor to the Charleston/Mt Pleasant area, I haven't always had the best luck with breakfast places here but I was very happy with finding First Watch. Both seating and the food was quick, food was super yummy, and our server, Colleen, was so professional and attentive. Watching the servers at other tables, this seemed to be the norm. A tad pricey but will gladly pay extra for a good experience, which this was! read more

On a positive note, the food was good, up to First Watch standards. The poor review is because the pace of service from entry to exit was absolutely GLACIAL. Also, our waitress forgot to include one of (three) orders, and there was no way we were going to wait forever for another order to be prepared. Thus, two of us just shared what we had with our third party. When we eventually got our bill, the meal we never received was still on it, so more delay. We were not in a rush, we were in no hurry at all but the total time spent there was absurd. We love First Watch, but we're not coming back to this one read more

Wow what a Sunday morning. Got to the restaurant at 10 AM excited to try this restaurant. They told us 20 minutes so we walk down to The bookstore and bought a few books Came back to the restaurant thinking we would be seated in a few minutes. No luck, after speaking to the hostess twice we were told it would be another 20 minutes after waiting 40 minutes already. We called Toast and walked right in and had a great breakfast there. Stay away from First Watch, they cannot handle the takeout and in restaurant business. read more

Creative, unique menu. Nice outdoor seating area. The donut holes with the chocolate and fruit sauces are a must! Bacon was pretty tasty too. Husband had an omelette, it was average. I had a cinnamon chip pancakes and eggs. We wouldn't order these items again but there's plenty more to choose from. Looking forward to trying more items from the menu next time. read more

The food is excellent, and very fresh, so I hate to give it one star. But, you have to wait an hour to an hour and a half to get seated so it's best not to come too hungry. We are told our wait is 30 minutes, and then 30 minutes later, it's another 30 minutes, and then 30 minutes later it's even more time. Great place to meet up and visit for an hour to an hour and a half outside before you eat, but otherwise be prepared for a long long wait. read more

Why is there not a review for this place yet I still love Yelp! I'll keep it short, this new breakfast spot is a breath of fresh air. The food somehow finds a way to be original, and it's extremely well made. Creative, delicious and fairly priced. Eaten here twice and 5/5 stars both time. Based on the two times I've eaten here, it's already one of the best breakfast place in Mt. Pleasant. Don't hesitate. read more

Let me just start off by saying, ya girl loves breakfast. Seriously. I could eat breakfast all day for every meal. The one thing I love most about First Watch is the freshness of their food. Everything is cooked fresh in the restaurant and everything is always seasoned to perfection. The omelettes are the perfect size, the fruit cup portions, the potatoes, everything. I always leave feeling satiated and content. Also, I never get that heavy feeling like I do from other breakfast restaurants. If you're heal conscious, they have "lighter" options and if you love loaded French toast and pancakes, they have that too. This restaurant in Mt Pleasant is clean and the staff was very polite! Restrooms were also cleaned. I will definitely return back! read more

Terrific setting, friendly service but the food (we had) was mediocre and consistently over salted. We advised our server that the side potatoes were extremely salty and she indicated that they come pre-seasoned - do not order these unless you have a salt obsession. Our meals took about 20-25 minutes to come out (restaurant was steady but not jammed) and when they did, they were warm but not piping hot as you'd expect for something made fresh. Disappointing experience and with all the great choices in the area, no need to return. You can do much much better going to Sena Cafe which is locally owned and operated!! read more

The best brunch place even though it's a chain. So many healthy options and the food is sooo flavorful! I love the green guide they have there! Anytime I'm in town center I always stop in just to get that! The service is always great and so friendly! Negative one star. Service was terrible food was burnt. How hard is it to mess up french toast. Told waiters and manager- the response was oh well "I just took over this place". He didn't even take off the burnt meal that was not eaten. No remorse for bad service on burnt food. Not recommended. I will not revisit. read more

Wow! I have been riding by this new restaurant eagerly waiting on it to open. Today was my lucky day! My daughter and I have looking for a delicious brunch option as they are so limited in Mt Pleasant. We ordered 2 different items to split. So glad we did. The salad and sandwich both were amazing! I love first watch! I come here frequently with my grandparents and friends. They never miss! It's always fresh! I usually get the Floridian French toast but I switched it up today and did the traditional breakfast. It comes with two pieces of toast (gluten free for no extra charge) your choice of bacon or sausage, eggs however you prefer them and these delicious Potato wedges. We were told a 15 minute wait for Sunday morning but we got sat in about 5 minutes. It was awesome! They have such a great atmosphere here, with such unique decorations. It was super busy and very crowded and loud but the service was superior. We got everything we needed and we're checked on frequently. I enjoyed my meal here! read more

Left after 20 mins. Food never arrived, and it was a Thursday, not even a weekend rush. Also, $5 for a side of bacon! Do you get the whole pig? The time issue wasn't just me. A person to my left had to get hers to go it took so long, and it was a salad! The table to my right, three people got their food the 4th didn't. read more

Worst service and I was a frequent Customer. five people in our party two people in our party received their food and three other people received theirs 25 minutes later totally unacceptable.!!!! spoke to the manager who actually didn't want to do anything but finally comped two meals(kids meals) instead of the three that came out 25 minutes later!!! Zero customer service and apparently don't care ! Sad it used to be a great place to read more

Terrible experience unfortunately. Sat waiting for 15 minutes. New group of 4 adults came in and wait staff served them first despite we also had a newborn. Food looks great but we left at the sheer disrespect and lack of professionalism. As we left the hostess, completely clueless, wished us a great day. We had to try the Apple Pie shots since everyone seems to talk about them. This is way more complex than some apple flavor liquor. The ingredients take some prep work, and the result is something that literally tastes like apple pie. If they bottled this, I would definitely buy it. They have two specialty drinks, the Freshy and the Orange Crush, both of which are made with fresh squeezed juice squeezed right when you order. I had the Freshy which is orange or grapefruit juice with your favorite liquor. I chose grapefruit with vodka and even though I am not a huge fan of grapefruit the freshness and tartness of the drink made it quite enjoyable. My wife had the Orange Crush with Deep Eddy's O.J vodka, Triple Sec, Sprite and some of that fresh squeezed orange juice. It was nice and sweet which was good since we were ordering a lot of savory options. The Potato Skins arrived first and they were truly impressive. Good sized skins with the perfect amount of potato, not too thick or too dry and definitely homemade. They had mixed cheese, bacon and green onions served with sour cream also loaded with green onions. As far as all the potato skins I have had these were a standout. Next came the onion rings with an absolute massive serving for just eight dollars. You could tell they were homemade and served with a chili garlic sauce. The best part was the batter coating which was crispy yet didn't fall off when bent or bitten. They reheated nicely in the air fryer. Next, we tried the Toasted Raviolis which were filled with Italian sausage and served with a house made marinara. They were nice and crispy, but the true star was the marinara sauce which was thick and chunky with parmesan mixed all throughout. I wish they had more dishes that used this sauce as it was excellent. On the advice of some regulars, I tried the chicken fingers which were all breast meat, dill brined and hand battered. It was good advice since the chicken was juicy and tender with a flavorful coating. Sometimes it pays to ask. My wife ordered the thing they are known for their Philly Cheesesteak. She decided on double meat, and they were super generous to the point she looked at me and said, "I don't know how I am going to finish this!". This cheesesteak gets nominate for a lot of best of lists and I could see why. I liked that the cheese was mixed in with the meat and not just poured on top. She enjoyed it but said next time she will order it as is. This is a great place to hang out and relax and maybe catch a band or some bluegrass and enjoy a great meal!

No complaints there. Drinks were good. We had a margarita and watermelon mojito. I guess the oysters just ruined the experience for me. If they're not fresh, don't serve them.

I've been to this location several times for a cup of coffee, breakfast and even lunch take out. I frequent this particular shopping center every day for lunch at various little spots. It (First Watch) hasn't been open for terribly long so I assumed a lot of the issues were just ironing out wrinkles. This past experience, today actually, has helped me conclude that, for me, it's just not worth the hassle. The app has been down for online ordering for two weeks and when calling in my order today I had to call three separate times and was put on hold for over 5 minutes each time with a promise to, "be right back to take your order." I was finally able to place an order and I arrived 30 minutes later. The front server was on the phone with a line of several people waiting to be seated and a couple ready to be checked out. I won't say I was eaves-dropping but it was hard not to hear the climactic phone call she was involved in. She was oblivious to everything around her. I did finally receive my order 15 minutes later, which was nicely wrapped and taped up at the top. However I got to my office (20 minutes away) and noticed that NO dressing was with my salad. A salad is not a salad without the dressing I'll just say. I tried, without success, several times to call the restaurant and after a few rings it just disconnected. So in conclusion, that is my review for this place. I wish them better luck. I just don't think this is how you operate a successful business. read more
