They took my whole plate away so by time I got my food. Everybody else was half done. The waitress was rolling her eyes and I'm just done at this location. It's horrible here! And now I'm looking at all the violations that they had and I'm disgusted I even ate there no cleanup of diarrhea or vomiting events are you serious in their back kitchen? Yum! First Watch is everything you could want from a new, upper-scale breakfast place. The menu has a little bit of everything, the first being avocado toast of course, and the specials are a nice treat. We went with a Morning Meditation (mixed juice drink) and an A.M. Superfoods Bowl. Both were absolutely excellent and a wonderful, clean start to my day. The juice was just delicious, plain and simple (though I suggest asking them to go easy on the ice), and the bowl was tasty, along with the accompanying bread with peanut butter and salt. There was only one snafu during our visit, our waiter forgot to make/give us the Morning Meditation! Upon pointing it out, when the bill came, he apologized, took it off our tap, AND gave it to us to-go. Now THAT is what I call service! We're all human, mistakes happen, but he corrected it perfectly. All-in, this, along with the friendly service, was a very enjoyable little meal. First watch sounds like a watch shop or urgent care center but it's actually a decent brunch venue! The interior is spacious and beautiful. The Eggs Benedict needs to have a really good hollandaise sauce to pair with it otherwise it's just an eggs sandwich and they did hit the nail on the head. The farmhouse skillet hash is decent. A loud, modern place in a great location. There was a tricky corn bread thing with lemon butter available for openers, and it was damned good, perfect with the fine coffee. If Smoked Salmon is on the menu, I'm SO there-and bada-boom, there was a "Smoked Salmon Frittata" en carte which was delicious. The plating was a bit precious, however. A long thin strip of crispy focaccia with wisps of whipped butter was the bread/starch alongside the Frittata on the trendy square plate. There also was a nice portion of spring greens with just the right amount of tangy vinaigrette. A distinctive and non-traditional look for a breakfast plate. I thought at first there wouldn't be enough to sate my appetite, but that wasn't accurate-the mix of things was just enough, and all the elements complimented each other nicely. Wife had Scrambled, Crispy Bacon and Pancake. Pancake as in singular, one large one. The eggs were well done, and could have been creamier. We're not fans of flat-top scrambles. They usually indicate pre-scrambled eggiwegs (sometimes with a modicum of pancake batter added) ladled onto a flat top and folded for service. I dont think these eggs had that additive. We prefer shell eggs done in a skillet. Next time we'll ask if that is available. We ordered a side of breakfast Potatoes which were VERY good-these were NOT the "Million Dollar" special potatoes offered as a side or upgrade, but the regular potatoes. A fine choice and recommended. The bacon was good quality and well-done as ordered. That pancake was more formidable than it looked, and was tasty. Really good unsweetened iced tea rounded out the service. There's a bar for solo diners, and a good range of healthy juice-type thingies. Cheerful, competent service too. read more

Got breakfast at First Watch on a busy Saturday morning. As usual, it was packed, but we only had to wait around 40 minutes, which was shorter than some other breakfast places. The host was patient even though the places was very loud and busy, he let us know we could wait in the car and we would be notified through text when our table was ready. After eating there, you could tell that they use high quality ingredients that make all the dishes taste well. I tried their honey crunch iced caramel coffee, and unfortunately, I was not able to get a picture since I drank it too fast. Just a heads up though, if you're not into super sugary drinks, maybe it isn't for you, but I'd give it a try if you have a sweet tooth like me. read more

He delivered the piping hot food and checked if everything was okay. I got the frittata rustica. It was delicious and enough, I had the rest for dinner. Overall (A-) Would give it 4 1/2 stars but can't - so rounding up to 5 stars. The food is really good so is the service but a bit pricey. But lines out the door so they doing something right. Service (A) They are super friendly and fast. Once you sit down they give you the appropriate amount of time to make a selection and the food comes out fairly fast considering that it was packed when we went. The entire staff is constantly moving trying to get the food out. Tip - you can't make reservations but you can go online and get in line. I highly recommend this! We got in line and only had to wait 5 minutes when we arrived - if not 45 minutes. It's packed. Quality (A) It is really good food. Everything is A quality - nothing was a miss. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict - probably could of had two orders. The bacon is really good also. Waffles were a hit and the the kiddos like the avocado toast. The food felt like and healthy. It did not feel heavy or like something would sit in your stomach. It's definitely a safe bet place. Get the bacon over the sausage. Value (B) It's expensive. But they do have a line out the door. It was around $25 a person out the door. I was a bit surprised since we didn't really have leftovers. So around $75 for 3. Didn't feel ripped off, since the quality and service were so good. And they can clearly price at these levels since it's packed. It's a good safe bet place. Are there a few things I could make better at home. Yes. I haven't been here since it opened and man have I been missing out. This food is amazing. My wife and I were greeted quickly with a happy smile and a great attitude from the hostess. We were seated fairly quickly and our server Karen quickly came to the table to greet us and asked if we wanted drinks. We looked over the menu and when she returned with coffee (which was delicious), we ordered. We decided to split an omelette because we weren't starving, and a good thing we did. We ordered the Bacado Omelette, that came with a side of a lemon- dressed organic greens (delicious salad with lemon vinaigrette dressing), whole grain artisan toast with all-natural house preserves, a side of creamy all natural sour cream and homemade pico de gallo. What a great combo. I really enjoyed the entire breakfast. The omelette came with plenty of thick tasty bacon, a plentiful amount of avocados and melted Monterey Jack cheese. There's not much I can say bad about this place. If you're expecting to have an important conversation, this may not be the place. Me and the misses went here on a today Tuesday morning for a little breakfast. We've heard about it. Now I can tell about it. It's a fresh modern meets farm house design. People seem to really like that now. The decor is inviting and comfortable. I think that's huge. The food is general is just ok imo. The market hash was tasty but not great. This was my first time at any First Watch. It's located next to Amazon Fresh, so in my head I kept associating it with Amazon. The interior is very nice and spacious. It felt somewhat loud because it's all open (no enclosed booths), but nice trendy interior overall. I also liked that the bathrooms have a vacant/occupied indicator. We ordered Market Hash and Salmon Frittata with coffee on the side. The Market Hash skillet was excellent; the onions added an interesting tartness, and the multigrain toast with butter and jam was awesome. The frittata was okay; it's kind of like an omelette and there wasn't much salmon, but I did like the sun-dried tomatoes. This place has been on our list to try for a while now but it is always busy. Which is usually a good sign. We planned to come in the last hour of operation to get a seat and it worked! (Tip) The food was good but nothing overly special. Keep in mind we did not get any of their seasonal specialty items which are what I hear are the best meals here. Pricing was fair not overly pricey, which was also great. The service here is phenomenal, you can alter meals if you need them with no problem, which is always a plus for me since don't eat eggs. The waitress recommend several substitutions that did not compromise the dish which I appreciated! We also loved the vibe, great for large groups, singles and everything in between. I have been to a First watch In Arizona and was pretty satisfied with my experience so I decided to try this other location where I live. I'll have to say I was very disappointed. Our check in process was good until we went to order. Once we ordered it took over 30 minutes to get our food. We were all done drinking our juice by the time we received our food. We ordered the Farmhouse Tacos and Avocado Toast. Both were prepared well but unfortunately the food was bland and had no flavor. The Black Beans were pretty good. I also notice that there menu was not the same as in Arizona. The server was very nice and the ambiance was good. The biggest issue of all is when your done and ready to pay the server gives you your check and then you need to wait in a long line near the entrance along with everyone else that is waiting to be seated. Very unorganized and inconvenient. Due to this I wouldn't recommend coming to this place during peak ours. read more

I buy my own coffee beans from a local roaster that sources beans from around the world so i know good coffee. It supports to contain zucchini and red peppers, but all I saw was potatoes and some little burnt pieces. because they cut veggies too tiny, got burnt while cooking. in addition, my hot water tastes like coffee bean..
