Went here twice on our visit to South Florida. Lots of variety and you can be super healthy or be indulgent. I got the avocado toast which was delicious. Their toast is homemade and hearty and their jams/jellies are delicious. The second time I got the BLT Benedict. It was perfect and filling but not overly filling. The salad with it was nice and light. They were willing to modify or substitute dishes with no problem. The servers were really nice and even politely listened to my mom while she explained the evils of carbs. Totally reasonably priced. I wish I lived closer and could go here more. read more

I tried the red medicine and it was so refreshing and tasty. the coffee was indeed fresh brewed. the smoked salmon Benedicts eggs and the lemon ricotta pancakes where rich in flavor and very fulfilling portions which we shared. if you go try the cinnamon pecan roll with their coffee! that flavor better than knaus berry and I thought it was unbeatable. This place is so packed! I honestly thought I was going to have to wait forever but thankfully they had a bar section that was first come, first serve. Even though it was hectic my waiter, Cristina, was super nice. She was friendly, engaging, and patience. Some customer got mad at her but she handled it so well that she made me lover her and the experience more. She also didn't rush me, which I love the most because I was on my computer doing work. This is a great breakfast chain which is popping up all o e down here recently. The food is fresh and yummy and really good for what u are paying. The only drawback is that as friendly as the Staff usually is at the locations I have visited north miami, Hollywood and North Fort Lauderdale, they usually are understaffed creating longer than necessary waits all around. If u dont mind waiting for the food and not super hungry or ur not in a rush then definately a solid breakfast joint. read more

I've always enjoyed my breakfasts here. Everything is fresh and there is always something new and intriguing on the daily special board. It is a little pricey for breakfast but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. It can get very busy during peak hours and during these times service and wait times for the food slows down. But everyone is always friendly and it is worth the wait, especially up here in North Miami Beach where breakfast options are few and far between. read more

The negative energy from the employees ruined anyone's appetite. Busboy (ladies) all had a painful depressing expression. To the point of making are meal uncomfortable. Waitress didn't even introduce herself. It is the responsibility of management to create a positive place for its team. As for the food the lemon pancakes were very dry flavorless. When we first arrived there was a 20 min wait. You can tell the the front of house staff was completely overwhelmed- running around like there heads were cut off. No one was communicating. We sat down- 5 mins later someone comes and asks us for our drink order- she was very sweet. I believe her name was Cristina. The glasses came out and they were filthy and greasy. She brought me to-go cups as a cleaner more sanitary option. When our food arrived- I had a hair in my BLT. She was nothing but accommodating. This doesn't happen often, especially at a breakfast place during prime hours. The hosts was friendly as soon as we walked in & gave us a clear idea on when we'd be seated. With a packed place we were seated within 10 minutes. The host ended up being our server. We ordered the favorites off the menu, and they did not disappoint. Skillets, salmon, pancakes, omelets, toast, potatoes, french toast, coffee- everything was delightful! John from SkyLake's location was the definition of a perfect server. Within our party of 7, 3 of us have served and we were blown away with his friendly, timely service. "I wish we could just take him to every restaurant we went to". I specifically asked the waitress to omit green chilies from my omelet. I waited a half hour to receive my order and when it came, it was totally filled with green chilies. The waitress came by to see if I needed anything and I told her that my brunch w was served with the green chilies. She asked if I wanted to have them remake my omelet and I said that I waited a half hour and did not want to wait another half hour. She merely said "ok" and happily walked away. The server seemed lost the whole time and was not attentive at all. Once they brought out another meal there was an unknown piece of meat in my side of potatoes and could no longer eat them.
