I stopped by STK for lunch with my best friend who was visiting from New York. We originally…read moreplanned on doing brunch, but we found out they only offer brunch on Sundays, so we decided to try their $45 prix fixe lunch instead. We both started with the Baby Gem Caesar salad, followed by the steak frites, and both courses were really good. The steak was cooked well, the fries were crispy, and the portions were satisfying for the price. For drinks, I had the Perfect Margarita while my friend enjoyed a martini--both cocktails were well made. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the prix fixe menu was supposed to include a sweet dessert, but ours never came, and no one mentioned it. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was disappointing since it was part of the meal we ordered. Overall, we still had a nice lunch, enjoyed the atmosphere, and would definitely come back especially to try their Sunday brunch next time.

There were a few other people seated outside, and the lady next to me was already complaining about her food taking so long. She had been waiting for 30 minutes. Despite the slow service, our waiter was a bit peculiar, but it all worked out in the end. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, but the waiter seemed quite stressed. The food did take a while to arrive, but it was worth it because everything was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the tuna tacos and the wagyu tacos. The bacon mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, but it was also greasy and fatty. The bacon was more like pork belly chopped up into cubes. I would definitely return to try the oysters and beef tartare.
