Great food and Svc! Restroom was clean and server was very thorough. This is one of my favorites!

I understand they just opened 2 weeks ago, but the staff are not trained well. When the waitress gave us our food, we asked for silverware and our food was cold by the time we got a plastic silverware bag, when we were told the wait was because they were washing and drying some... Then, theres a whole paragraph going on about the "Bills Mills Grits" and I asked what the grits were made with (meaning ingredients, cheese, bacon etc" and the response was "idk water?" Ordered them anyways, plain old grits. Last thing in my rant, the waitress definitely forgot to bring out my boyfriends pancake with our meal, i had to ask about it as were were close to finishing and within 30 seconds the luke warm soggy pancake was brought to him. My boyfriend said he felt like he had Covid because of how bland the carrot cake pancake was. lol All other first watches ive been to are amazing, this one just needs some work... read more

first watch is a wonderful place, I told my father for Father's Day and i got scrambled eggs and French toast, with a sort of lavender lemonade?it was so good! i would give a five , but it took a bit long to get our food. the waitress was so nice! she needs a raise asap! the view of the river was very wonderful, it was a nice chill place. but overall, i would definitely come again. read more

Great experience, this is my second time eating here. I waited to write a review until I have tried twice. Had to be sure. Loved it. Host was friendly and uplifting. Got me a table in ideal conditions. Waitress was supper helpful with the menu. Being I'm new to these type of eateries. Food was perfect. No complaints what so ever. Even as I feasted I didn't have to miss a second of my work. They had wifi that helped me continue my documents. Even the manager is floating around giving a hand where it's needed. I just love love love this restaurant! The staff is amazing! Considering how busy this restaurant is, the wait staff and management are always available and extremely attentive. The food is always delicious although I tend to order the roast beef sandwich automatically, lol. Depending on when you go, you may have a wait but trust me, it is worth it! If I could do 0 stars I would. Just left the place because we waited over an hour and still nothing. When we were seated we ordered our drinks and food at the same time, we watched 4 other tables get seated after us, tables of 4 people, and all received food and drinks before us. When we finally received our simple coke orders 30 minutes later. The waitress never once checked up and they never even noticed when we left. Worst service for a restaurant ever. We got to sit there waste an hour of our time as people after people get seated after us eat and leave and good luck trying to get a waitress attention, she straight up disappeared and the others avoid customers like a plague. TERRIBLE!! Would leave zero stars if I could. Ordered take out and waited an HOUR for my food. Only ordered an omelette. Still never came, went to the host stand was still never helped. They ended up brining me a piece of paper to get a refund. I had to write down my name and card info on a piece of paper. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Beautiful location, they have a view from inside the bar that overlooks the lake and a sliding glass that opens up so it feels like you're outside even when you're inside. My waitress was very nice and the pumpkin pancakes were excellent with the chicken sausage. read more

I recently went to the PSL location and absolutely loved it! So I thought I'd give the Royal Palm Beach location a try! The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is charming. Today four of us when to have breakfast at First Watch like usual we love the food. Our bill was one receipt, every order enter individually with price to pay separately if desire. The catch is when you pay with credit card your individual order and sunmit the tip of 20% is on the complete bill and nobody mentions anything until you notice in your account you are charged for a pecan salad $31.00. They did not return the receipt and when I told my friends that ate with me to check for charges in their account the same thing. We were all charge 20% percent on the total bill. When I call the restaurant they mention how transaction can not be cx and money can not be reimbursed. They gave me a coupon with expiration date to buy a full meal and get one free. Very disappointed with how everything was handle. read more

We have eaten in other locations and they were very good. This location, however was disappointing. Our server was excellent and attentive. The food was not great. My waffles weren't quite done and were mushy. The million dollar bacon was limp and cold. My wife's "eggcellent" sandwich was Luke warm and the potatoes didn't come with her meal. I was done by the time they were delivered and were not cooked through. As a matter of fact they tasted of being cooked raw in a microwave. I have to say the many times I've been here, it seems that the server does not pay much attention to what you requested. First and foremost I ask for the tea unsweetened with the lemon on the side. Comes up with lemon inside, I ask if they would not toast my bread and they toast the bread. The omelette I ordered I forgot to add on the spinach, they didn't add on the spinach it's take it or leave it. Unfortunate for this establishment that it's gonna loose customers. I don't plan on coming back. It's also too bad that some waitresses are waiters nice, but the rest they need some proper training. I did like their food, but another thing so you know they wait on weekends is a zoo, and the wait time for the food is up to 45 Minutes. Tables are left without being cleaned. First time at first watch . It was a 10 in my book . The place looks great and clean ( except a fly walked in and decided to bug me and girlfriend ) the hostess was very welcoming. It was supposed to be a 15 min wait but we got seated in 5 and then our waitress Summer came and just hit it out of the park with her friendliness and patience . She had to keep coming back because we were not ready to order ( we kept talking instead of looking at the menu) finally the food came and it was delicious. The pancake was the size of the plate ( loved it) Coffee was like the way I like my men , Strong . After we finished . We sat there and talked some more without feeling like we had to leave , except for our conscience did start to tell us to leave . I have given this place several chances. I do this because the food is decent. The service is awful. Awful like totally mismanaged. Twice I went in and had to wait 30-40 minutes to sit when half the restaurant is empty. The explanation was that they did not have the kitchen staff to seat the restaurant. Every single time I have gone the food has taken a minimum of 40 minutes to come out. The wait staff isn't attentive at all. You are lucky if you get a refill on your coffee. Lucky. The final straw was I went in and when I sat down I waited 20 minutes and nobody ever came to even take a drink order. Nothing. I sat there for 20 minutes and the wait staff just ignored us. Stopped in for a quick bite before work. Sat outside at the bar. Scenery was nice. Just beat the brunch crowd so it wasn't too busy. The bartender, Char, provided great service and was attentive. Meal came out quickly and was delicious. Coffee was great too. read more

Great new location with a beautiful outside dining area. We were told the wait was 25 minutes but were seated at about 15 which was a nice surprise. The staff was very attentive and food came out right and in a timely manner. I like the restaurant butt....their system is broke, if you put your name in you can go shopping and you show up 20 minutes later and they hold your table thats just stupid. The people that actually wait to be seated wait for hours because of this. You should have 30 seconds to show or itgoes to the next person. Joined online wait list, never got confirmation that table is ready. Came to a restaurant 1.5 hour later and they were able to get a table in 15 minutes. Food came 45 minutes after ordering. Waited another 5 minutes for fork and knives. You would expect Michellin star chef making your dish all this time, but the taste is below average. Eggs Benedict came cold and close to hard boiled. 2 stars for staff being polite, interior desig and for brining drinks relatively fast, otherwise would have been 1 star. Not coming again. read more
