Stumbled across Morgan's Country Kitchen while doing a breakfast search this morning. Morgan's is a quaint dinner that serves a great breakfast. Their menu has a little bit of everything. Service was friendly and fast. My husband was blown away by the biscuits and gravy. He said his breakfast was exactly what he wanted this weekend. I had an omelet with hash browns. My omelet ingredients were fresh and arrived to the table fresh off the grill. Morgan's Country Kitchen will definitely be on our breakfast rotation while we're in town. We never would have discovered this place until we saw it on our Yelp app. It's located in an industrial/business park. It's not an area we had ever been to nor knew about. The restaurant is small and parking is limited. Staff was very friendly, They serve breakfast here all day. My husband had one of their breakfast specials, while I had something from the lunch side of their menu. He got their "Georgia Breakfast". It had two biscuits with sausage and cheese topped with sausage gravy along with two over easy eggs and grits. He said the biscuits were wonderful -- nice and soft inside. We were surprised to learn they were not house made, but from a food service company, Cheney Brothers. I got their crispy chicken club sandwich. The all white meat chicken was breaded and fried. It was very good. Came with a few strips of bacon, a large slice of red tomato, and a lettuce leaf. The bacon could have been a tad more well done. And the bun -- called a Kaiser roll on the menu -- was more like a hamburger bun. I didn't eat the bread. Got potato salad as my side. It was eggy and slightly sweet from the pickle relish. Good, but not my favorite. I had to get a biscuit to go -- just to try one -- and ate it in the car with the provided butter as my "dessert". Glad we got to try this place. "Hidden" is truth in advertising. But, this Gem shines bright! Looking for someplace new, I searched Yelp and this was the No. 1 recommendation. A brief drive south, Morgan's is nestled among auto body shops and parts dealers. Plenty of parking outside. And, as soon as we entered we knew this was our newest go-to. Unassuming facade with the name out front. On entry about 7 booths and 6 tables, together with counter service for a handful more. Classic diner griddle in the open kitchen. Seasonal (Halloween) decor. Classic diner menu. Plenty of options of nearly everything for everyone. Servers were conversational, fun, and pleasant. Quick on their feet. No delays for drinks or food. First cup of coffee was thin, so our server/owner brewed a fresh double cup to accommodate taste. A perfect veggie omelette with grits and English muffin disappeared. My chicken fried steak and eggs with sausage gravy and a house baked biscuit was a perfect plate. Every component was precise - eggs over exactly medium, crispy breaded steak, exceptional sausage gravy, and a biscuit that had to be held down so it didn't float away. Bottomless drinks and great food in a clean, well-lighted space. The extra boost is the most reasonable prices anywhere in south Florida. I cannot wait to return with more friends. I have been there countless times over the years. I first tried Morgan's in 2018. The food was amazing. The business survived Covid and is still around today. I mention this because seating of very limited. A few tables. A few seats at the bar. And a family style bench/table down the middle. Each coffee cup is different from the others. Most have catchy phrases. The workers are free spirited and fun. There is almost always a wait to get it but they are really fast so the wait is not long. The food is absolutely amazing. First time and probably the last. My daughter took me out to breakfast on Monday and she picked this restaurant. I ordered a biscuit with egg and bacon. The biscuit looked and felt like it had been microwaved. I held it up to show it to the waitress and it felt apart from my hand........she didn't take it well. She took my plate and brought back a fresh egg and bacon on rye. It was okay but nothing special. After we finished our meal, she approached our table and said another customer had taken care of our bill. And she added that she had been taken care of as well. My take is that she made a comment to one of their regular customers and they felt compelled to pay for our meal and her tip. The other possibility is that she and the rest of the staff including the cooks and the owner were simply shocked someone would be dissatisfied with the food. It felt as if they were offended at the fact I rejected the biscuit. Nevertheless, the situation was odd. If you visit this restaurant and don't like the way your food was prepared, let the waitress know you will pay for your meal before you send it back. This place deserves 5 stars for the kindness in their hearts. Right when you walk in they have a board where patrons paid for free meals so that anyone who needs a meal can grab a ticket and eat, no questions. It blew me away. What a beautiful establishment with big hearts and delicious plates. You would never know it by the location, but this place is great. read more

Tucked away little breakfast eatery. Parking can be tricky but is doable. The lot is shared with a car repair biz. Upon entering we were told to seat ourselves and asked if we needed a menu. I think they have a lot of regulars! We were quickly given our waters and coffee. We decided upon the Arnold (a healthy omelette) and the Egg White Burrito. I was able to try the hash brown with gravy that my husband had and it was perfect! I had the egg white burrito and it was simple and delicious. Messy, too! It came with sour cream and salsa. I added hot sauce and that made it excellent. Two bathrooms. Seating is booth, table and counter. We had a table bc all booths were taken. Counter is cool because you can see the staff cook. We were in this area at a function at the expo center nearby, and wanted to go somewhere different for breakfast. Wasn't interested in the usual chains. Being that we don't live in the area, a quick yelp search brought Morgan's up and I'm so glad that we did. We got there at 10:30 in the morning and it was pretty busy but we were seated right away. Although there are only a few tables, maybe 8 plus the counter, they turned over quickly, but you don't feel rushed. We both had make your own omelettes and added a pancake to it, and it was absolutely delicious. The bill for the two of us with two coffees was $28 without tip. We decided to come here on a random weekday. We had never heard of it before but found it while searching for breakfast spots on Yelp and we wanted to try something different. As soon as you walk in, it feels very small and like a family owned small diner. We were sat fairly quickly. We were impressed with the variety of menu options available. Overall, the food was tasty. My husband had the Georgia Breakfast and I ordered the All Twos with a side of home fries and dirty grits. The only thing that I didn't like was the grits, they didn't have a lot of flavor even with the bacon and cheese on top. read more

We went to Morgan,s Country Kitchen this past Sunday. It was busy and had to wait outside for about 15 minutes. There are benches to sit on. Sitting outside in March is ok , but I believe it would be not be too pleasant in August. Once inside we sat at a booth . They have tables and booths. We got coffee, which was very good. It was smooth and I didn't need 5 creams when you get bitter coffee. The service was very good and the food was delicious. I imagine Saturday and Sunday are the more busy times. They serve breakfast and lunch. Next visit we will have lunch. I was very impressed with Morgan's Country Kitchen. I recommend this restaurant and will be back again soon. read more

There is no other restaurant for breakfast in palm beach county. Well, technically that's not true, but after eating at Morgan's I will never willingly eat breakfast anywhere else. The ladies working were all extremely friendly and considering I was there at 7:15 AM, more than pleasant. The restaurant is small, just a few booths and tables, but that's ok. It oozes charm and character. The coffee was amazing. I could drink it all day. My breakfast was a platter heavily laden with delicious food. Breakfast is served all day and that's a huge W for us breakfast loving people. Chances are you would never pass by this place because it's off on a side road, but you need to make your way there for some friendly service and yummy food. read more

I Love Going to DIVE DINERS that don't look like much when you walk in. But the Service, the Food, the Prices...tell All! I looked at the menu before Entering the Restaurant & knew what I wanted to have, MEATLOAF SPECIAL, Comes with Mash Potatoes & Corn & Texas Toast. Finally found a diner that isn't priced insanely high. Classic American Breakfast, eggs were excellent as well as the hashbrowns (I like them extra crispy). The server was fantastic and my coffee cup didn't get below 1/2 full until I didn't want anymore coffee. Overall, it's a diner, so it can get loud with diner noise but an excellent find. Pros: Prompt service in an intimate Mom & Pop Restaurant along an unbeaten path. Their pancakes are fluffy & delish! Cons: Very limited parking and yes intimate = quite small. Guess they are really thin to keep their costs low. The food did take a while to get to our table. I believe a simple meal like this should only take just a few mins to make. I will go again and try something else. I did try a little gravy and it was good. Maybe will do a gravy dish on the next visit. The place is small with counter seating & approximately 10 tables Sorry no outdoor seating Parking lot is on the small side considering it shares the parking with the auto place next door. I know I mentioned pumping out the food but I'm a stickler for hot food. We ordered a to go order & immediately went outside in the car to eat it. PS here's where the pumping out the food went wrong everything was absolutely cold & not tasty at all. After reading a lot of reviews I so desperately wanted to find something delicious here. The topping on the grits was good but the grits themselves did not live up to the reviews for me. Grits were hot tho Yes sadly even the tater tots ice cold Egg sandwich with ham cold too. This is definitely a gem in the rough. Looks like a warehouse district. Parking is some what limited because this place gets busy. They serve breakfast and lunch at very good prices. There breakfast came with many options for carb hungry and Keto diets. Opening hours are at 7am which I recommend going then to beat the rush. Looking over the patrons I seen a couple of police officers having coffee. That's normally a good indicator on the quality of coffee they serve. I love a good, cheap greasy spoon spot and Morgan's is it. Other Yelp reviews weren't lying-the location is a bit random but I'm sure that all the businesses in the business park appreciate that it's there. There's a small parking lot that may take a minute for a spot to open up. This place is small and very busy, but the staff handle it excellently. Breakfast and lunch are served all day. Like many small no-frills diners of its kind, Morgan's stands out due to the down-home cooking -- especially its breakfast menu, which is my primary focus when paying a visit. For my money, the Georgia Breakfast is king with a side of dirty grits. Sausage patties on top of biscuits, smothered in sausage gravy speak to me in a poignant and profound, profound and poignant way. Sometimes I order with a side of bacon; sometimes, I don't. It depends on my mood and appetite, which is filled by the time I complete my breakfast and spiritual goodness. They have some good eats for breakfast and lunch on their menu in addition to the glory of the Georgia Breakfast, which I have not yet ordered. But this place is a definite recommendation. Really disappointed on this trip. We've been to Morgan's before for breakfast and everything was great. This trip I got the Reuben sandwich which typically comes filled with corned beef. This was about 1.5 piecesof corned beef on each half. That wasn't the worst part though. The meat was rubbery and one piece was totally inedible. I felt bad I had to send it back which the server was cool about it but really disappointing. My husband got the raging bull which he liked but I tried a piece and again the meat wasn't very tender. Maybe it was just an off day because I know this is a popular restaurant but they should stick to their breakfast offerings. read more

I've been promising "Ms. Patty" one of my epic reviews for quite some time. Andrea and I visited this Sunday Morning 26 November 2023. Food just keeps getting better and better. I get a lot of strange looks for all the pictures that I am taking; - Oh well! - To each his own! Service is amazing! Girls running the dining room are incredibly kind and efficient. I never have felt rushed, no matter what. Things can get kind of busy, especially on the weekend. The food is truly fantastic. Thanks for always ensuring that my eggs are extra soft and runny, the toast is well done and french fries are crispy. It's these little things that matter so damn much. The place is packed with locals, definitely not your typical tourist and/or "Snow Bird" place - But, I think you get plenty of the folk as well. Hands down, this has been our #1 spot for Breakfast in South Florida. The place has attitude and bite, I believe it is located in a former automobile garage repair shop, but I can't be for certain. It feels like I'm apart of the family as the staff has watched me grow from high school to college, with new friends and old, and with every visit with my mom and Cindy tidd. I tell everyone about this place. The food is amazing but so are the people. The small but homely restaurant provides a sense of belonging.
