The restaurant is very bright and open without being overly loud so we happily enjoyed our breakfast with conversation. E had the farmhouse hash and pesto chicken quinoa bowl, both of which were nicely done. The pesto bowl has fantastic flavor and kept me full straight through lunch. My daughter had the hash and said the eggs were perfectly done and enjoyed the seasoning on the potatoes. We would definitely go back again!

This is such a a great brunch spot! Even on a busy Saturday afternoon we only had about a 15 minute wait. The service here is friendly and food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the Elevated Egg Sandwich which came with potatoes. The sandwich was very tasty and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly! I would definitely come back to this place!

I love First Watch! I never have a bad experience and the food is always great! This location is especially nice! Most First Watch are in a shopping plaza/strip mall. This location is a stand alone with its own dedicated parking lot. The ceilings are high. With all the windows, it's so bright and open. This location also has a bar where you can sit to eat/ order drinks. Our service was great as usual. I tried the Bananas Foster French toast ($12.99). It had great flavors and was delicious! It is very sweet, so beware if you are watching your sugar intake. The elevated egg sandwich ($12.49) is always a solid choice and their fried potatoes are a good side. If you haven't tried this spot, you should!

First Watch always has quality ingredients, a reliable menu, and always hits the spot! I met up here with a friend for lunch in June. I love the Pick 2 for lunch special, so if you're undecided, you can get two. And if you're still undecided, you can get a side to go with your lunch. If you see my photo, I was absolutely undecided, haha! The Cobb Salad was great, I loved the presentation and all of the toppings. The Club Sandwich was filling and also not lacking for toppings. The fruit cup was fresh. I love how quick you can get in and out here. The service is always fast. The high ceilings here make it feel larger than it is. And although typically full and somewhat loud, it is always a great place to meet up with friends and have an enjoyable and comfortable lunch. I highly recommend First Watch.

Went with my girlfriends in sunday for brunch and it was first time. The wait wasn't long and the host was being great! The deco inside was simple but it makes u feel homey and comfortable! Our server was very attentive and quick with taking care of us! He was super awesome. I ask him some drink suggestion, and he explained to me and also suggested some fresh squeeze juice. I took my chance and try it and very delicious!!! I order my food salad and sandwich combo, similar to Panera Bread, but like an upgrade version. My ham and cheese sandwich was so bomb!!! My salad was good, I wish they have raspberry vinaigrette that's would compliment my taste. But overall, the food and services was top notch! My friends food was good too, we all kill off everything Lolololol. I would come back for another brunch. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay in the mansion! My daughter booked it and I didn't know what to expect…read more The place has a really interesting story and the owner has put a lot of love into its restoration and operations. Heck, she even had Brad Pitt's dad help with wallpapering! The place, obviously, is not a chain hotel and if you are expecting things to be like a chain hotel, you might not be happy here. But if you are reading the reviews you probably already know this. We stayed on a Friday night, so we were there for the weekend breakfast, which I enjoyed. We had not heard ANY sounds from other guests at any point during the night, so were surprised that other people were there at breakfast. A guest at the other table said to us that he was surprised to see anyone else was here as they had not heard us either! It turns out that their room was very close to ours; and there were guests in other rooms as well! Wish all hotels were that quiet! Because of the historic nature of the building, it seems it might be inaccessible to people with mobility issues. Our room (the Chapel suite) was pink and frilly and not really my style of decor - but it's not like I'm moving in! It was definitely a change from usual hotel decor, which is never to my style either! It's a pretty large place and is not as cozy as a small B&B. But it's very reasonably priced compared to those. Beds were quite comfortable, more so than most hotels in my experience. We had reserved 2 nights, but had to cut our vacation short due to weather predictions on the route home. They were completely understanding and didn't charge us for the cancellation of the next night. Will definitely stay here again!

A very cozy and unique place for a reasonable price! The breakfast was also great! I would stay…read moreagain!

I will absolutely make a day trip from St. Louis to go have a meal here again, undoubtedly. The service was impeccable; everyone on site was warm, thoughtful and made sure the experience was perfect. They answered every one of my gluten free questions without even blinking and even make recommendations that I wouldn't have even considered. I was absolutely stuffed when I left; and have no regrets. The ambiance was warm, cozy and inviting; the absolute stop on a bubbling district street that has some of the best Springfield has to offer. If you're considering stopping by here? Go! The menu is extensive, generous and if you make a reservation, try to avoid the bustle of what all the locals already know-- this place is popular!

Started off with the orange zest caramel latte and it was great: noticeable orange flavor, not overwhelmingly sweet, and served hot in a big campfire-style mug. We split the "super basic brekky" (biscuit, 2 fried eggs, 2 sausage patties, and a side of dressed greens) and the "bean gurlie" hashbrown bowl (hashbrown casserole, fried eggs, beans, onions, peppers, cheese. Also came with a side of dressed greens). Portions were filling and everything was DELICIOUS. The biscuit was our favorite part of the meal (tall, fluffy, amazing), but the sausage and the hashbrown casserole were close contenders. I'm not a huge greens person at breakfast, but whatever they dress them with was super tasty and I loved it. Decor gives thrifted grandma vibes in the most fun and curated way. Staff was very efficient and kind. We'll absolutely be back!
