This First Watch is not as good as the Broadway one. I really like the food and service there. Here they have one person managing 2 registers and taking names at the door so you stand there for minutes before anyone greets you. When we got our table no servers came for 15 minutes until finally the overworked hostess/cashier brought even more people back and realized the servers didn't know the tables had been filled. We ordered food and it was good. No complaints there. No one checked on us so it was a good thing we weren't unhappy. When we went up to pay at the register there were 2 people working but ours stopped right before helping us in order to do the hostess role. We won't be back. But we'll definitely go back to the Broadway one. read more

I haven't eaten at a First Watch since I was in Florida a few years ago. Friend and I went as she's become addicted to the place. I have to agree the food is usually consistent in quality and quantity. The place is fairly new. We walked in to a clean place. The greeter came to us within less than a minute and seated us at the only table left. Our server was there in a quick moment and took our drink orders. It was a considerable delay in getting our drinks (the place was packed) and then our orders were taken. Friend went with The Works omelet; I had the Farmhouse Hash, eggs over easy. Another short delay and the food arrived. The bowl looked good. The toast was cold - it had been toasted and then when cool, was slathered with butter. So it was toast with butter sitting on top of it, not melted in to the bread. My eggs were not over easy; they were over medium to almost hard and they were almost cold. I was surprised at the lack of quality in my food. Given the difficulty in getting help these days I can somewhat understand. Hence the 4 stars instead of 3. Actually we've been coming here several times and always satisfied with the food but Injust had a chance to put the review. We stop by around 11.45 today (Saturday) for lunch, there were some people ahead of us, about 3 groups. We have to put our name in the waiting list. We waited for about 15minutes. This restaurant looked really good when reading reviews. I found it very underwhelming. I ordered the avocado toast. It was basically just sliced avocado on top of bread. Although, the bread was very good, there wasn't much seasoning at all in the avocado mixture. The bacon was also overcooked and not worth $4.99. Perhaps the other menu items are better. But the people at the front counter were very friendly and gave us an estimated time which they actually got us within 5 mins. The server was super pleasant and helpful with suggestions. I actually suggested this place to eat based on previous experiences at First Watch in Ohio. My boyfriend was so pleasantly surprised how good the food was. We were in the mood to grab a bite for breakfast this morning so we decided to eat here. Upon skimming the menu I decided to try out the traditional breakfast with red medicine to drink. The red medicine was quite refreshing but was disappointed that there were no refills on it. The atmosphere was nice, got seated a few tables away from other people, respecting the 6ft rule. I got the eggs scrambled with bacon, potatoes and toast. The portion size was bigger than I expected, I could barely finish the whole meal by myself. I was surprised to see how quickly the food came out, it took probably about 10-15 minutes. All-in-all the price was pretty reasonable for the amount of food I got. Just doesn't do it he must have spent huge sums of money on Crafting and wordsmithing their menu with just the right type of the effetist descriptions of their food, that they had no money left over from their marketing budget. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star is really that I didn't see a dedicated kid's menu. I will likely share a plate with my daughter or order a la carte when I bring the family next visit. If you like your coffee more on the bitter side then their coffee is for you. I'm more of a light to medium roast person but it was fresh and they offered various creamers so that won me over. I had to take a conference call and I did not want fast food. I knew First Watch was next door and decided to walk in. I felt awkward because I had to be on the phone but the waitress was completely friendly understood and walked me to a single table in the back. She quietly said coffee? While I prefer top dine a locally owned businesses, I can't deny that First Watch does breakfast/brunch really well! You can indulge on sweets or savory or enjoy a lighter breakfast. Their fresh juices and protein pancakes are awesome for a healthy breakfast. But for those indulging moments....the millionaire bacon is fun to share.
