This is an odd place in an odd location. While doing some errands we came here for breakfast. I like supporting local businesses and places I have not tried before. The place is tucked away and is cozy inside. We were the only customers upon arrival at ~1030 on a Wednesday and we were the only customers sans a food delivery person who was filling two very large bags to I am guessing hungry college students. I had the royal breakfast which has a fantastic appearance. My wife had a bacon omelet. Both were ok, but I thought the taste was off. Our waitress was friendly. I do not like that there is no restroom inside and one has to walk down a path, use a key, and in my case, someone was in already in there which is awkward. read more

Absolutely love the outdoor patio area it's beautiful! Comfortable dining area, lots to enjoy and experience and our service was excellent. Very friendly and pleasant staff. However what I ordered wasn't the best. Traditional breakfast two eggs scrambled, hash browns, and two strips of bacon were subpar. Hash browns although plentiful were greasy and needed seasonings, eggs kinda tasted like they had just cooked some fish on the same grill, and the bacon served cold need salt for flavor. My wife enjoyed her chicken and waffle sandwich but it was served with cold fries. This was a bicycle ride stop so keeping our bikes next to us was perfect. read more

Geronimo Taste Test! As much as we love our regular spots- our favorite thing about Tucson is finding new (to us) places to try! Geroniml has amazing taste for a fantastic price! Posted up near campus - they offers casual dining with taste. The waffles are crisp and fluffy - no syrup required! And the breakfast sandwich hit all the spots. The bagel had SO MUCH avocado- absolutely worth it. We each got a Lassy and it was the perfect breakfast beverage! The service leaves a bit to be desired- took awhile to place our order (which was okay for our first time because there is a lot to look at)- but on the regular ehhh. And we were not checked in on once we got our food- went in to pay. So understand you might not get great service- but legit, I want that cibatta breakfast sandwich again already- so there is that. 10/10 will be back for brunch, lunch, or dinner!! read more

Don't let the low reviews fool you. I think people are under the impression that will be waited on while you are there. You order inside and wait for your food. The food is excellent!! Everything we got was super tasty. The outdoor seating area is in a beautiful courtyard. read more

I had to remind myself what and where Geronimo is. Once I remembered, it was good but nothing remarkable. When we first arrived, the lady seating us wasn't the friendliest. Our waitress was better. We went there for brunch before a matinee showing at Centennial Hall. There are a couple of seats outside, and a few inside. There weren't too many people dining while we were there. They seemed to have several to-go orders. They had a good variety of breakfast and lunch items. I got the chicken shwarma on a sub. It only comes with the sub and any sides are extra. The taste was good. I enjoyed it. My brother got a french toast sandwich type thing. He said the sausage had no spices in it and was just pork. read more

Small, clean well appointed restaraunt. Spice mixes are bold, slightly unusual fusion blends that delight. Presentation was artistic and enjoyable unique. The ultimate benedict and the spaghetti were wonderful suprises on our last night in Tucson. read more

Came here assuming it was just a brunch spot but it was an Arab restaurant, how fun!! I ordered dolmas and a gyro sandwich, but they had a ton of other options as well. Super good and filling, I really liked the pickles they came with as well. Service was quick, took about 25 mins to get food after ordering. Overall, I would reccomend if you want some good Arab food. read more

Strange little restaurant in Tucson near the university. It's in Main Gate Square but tucked away in a courtyard. Service was terribly slow, but maybe they just had a bad day. They have an interesting breakfast menu and decent coffee. I had the Ultimate Benedict, which is an unusual eggs benny with sausage patty, spinach, and mushroom. It had a gorgeous presentation except for the weird kebab garnish. But it was oddly flavorless in spite of a nice (not Hollandaise) sauce. The mushrooms were canned, not fresh, which is a cardinal sin. From what I can tell there's not another diner for weekday early morning eggs in the vicinity, so I'll definitely go back. Next time I'll just get a simple breakfast, which seems safer. Nice vibe inside and wonderful patio and courtyard area. Will eat outside next time as well. read more

I showed up for breakfast on a Sunday at 8:00. A.M. All of the public websites said that the restaurant was open. The young woman who greeted me said that they wouldn't open until at least 9:00, because the chef wasn't arriving until at least 9:00. So I said I would wait. I took a seat on the patio, underneath an umbrella, and the young woman kept giving me along sideways glances, while she was putting cushions on the chairs. I was definitely not made to feel welcome, nor was it worth my while to wait an hour under her glare. Disappointing. The menu looks good though! read more

We were staying at a nearby hotel and was looking for a sit down breakfast place. Location was convenient and located in this pod of bungalow style house/store fronts on University. Staff was super friendly to my daughter and me. No one else was there but we got there super early for a Sunday breakfast. The previous comments/ratings made me a bit weary but we gave it a shot. Nothing super fancy, my daughter had eggs, hash brown, and bacon, while I had the Nutella crepe. She enjoyed her breakfast but she's not hard to please with simple items. The coffee had what I thought was a weird spice after taste. I wish I could rate the food better, maybe it's better for lunch.... My crepes looked yummy but the crepe part itself was on the softer consistency which I couldn't get over. Again nice service though! read more

This little restaurant tucked away in Geronimo Plaza down the sidewalk from University's Main Gate is extraordinary. We both had the vegetarian omelet with coffee. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and folded into a generous sized omelet. It was almost too much to eat. I am a connoisseur of coffee and again was surprised at the smooth, full bodied flavor that rivals any coffee shop in Tucson. I don't know how it's made but it's delicious and worth going back for and perhaps a dessert. The humble atmosphere is quaint as you look out on the sunny plaza. The service was friendly, polished and makes you feel at home. Love this place and give it a hearty 5-Stars. read more

Zero customer service ...lengthy wait even though very few others in restaurant. Eggs were undercooked. When I notified the waitress she informed me it was the cheese. I showed her with my fork the slimy white undercooked egg, she told me it was Monzarella cheese and part of the cheese combo they use. Needless to say it was clearly undercooked eggs. All of our meals were not well cooked. Despite this, I think what was most appalling was her argumentative and flat out rude demeanor. Truly sad for the owners who likely are trusting their business to someone incapable of treating customers well. We left after we asked for the bill. LOVED THIS PLACE! Not only was the food delicious, but the service was amazing! Food came out super fast and was flavorful, fresh, and clean. Had trouble deciding what to get with so many great sounding options, but our server gave plenty of recommendations, and the one we landed on tasked AMAZING. Our experience this morning was truly disappointing. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed, with one waiter handling, not only the inside, but also all of the outside tables, which were mostly full. We ordered coffee, both hot and iced. The iced coffee had so much syrup in it that it was undrinkable and the hot coffee seem to have been sitting and tasted burned. It took over half an hour for our food to get to the table and when it got there, it was ice cold. When I asked to have mine remade, all they did was throw it in the microwave, making the toasted bagel a chewy inedible mess drenched in lava like cheese. Coffee refills were never offered, and once the microwaved food was delivered, the waiter never came back to the table. We had to go inside and hunt him down to get our check. While they did take the uneaten sandwich and two soft drinks.(??) off of the check, the experience was so bad that I doubt that we will ever return. It's a shame because when we have come here in the past, it has always been great food. read more
