Party of fourteen, they absolutely refused to work with us on a reservation for a weekend breakfast and were borderline rude about it. I'm not bringing a huge group like this with no guarantee of space, are they crazy? Very pleasant waitress while we sat on the outside patio. We had delicious foods and great service. Prices are reasonable. Sister had an omelette with toast & potatoes. Chickichanga was its name & she had it without avocado. She loved it. Aunt's summer special brisket hash was delicious with two eggs & potatoes. My 1/2 sandwich & 1/2 salad was wonderful! I had the avocado chop salad that came with chicken. Mmmm...the 1/2 beef & havarti sandwich was yummy. They must have forgotten the horseradish that should have accompanied it but I totally forgot. Haven't been back since due to non-compliance of ADA certified service animal rights. Was told my service animal had to remain on the floor. The floor was dirty with food and dust. Having been a steady repeat customer, I obliged although it obstructed my service animal from performing trained tasks. Five stars for three good reasons: 1. Customer Service: The service here is stellar; we came for brunch the day after Christmas; and, boy, it was super busy in here. My family of 8 waited only 18mins to be seated after we put in our name for a table. The employees work hard here making the the turn-around time for tables quick. Our server Sydney was very attentive, super friendly, and got our order correctly and promptly. 2. Food: Everything we ordered on the menu for 4 adults and 4 kids was delicious and fresh. We loved everything we ordered. My kids wanted to order more food after we finished eating. I've never seen them wanting to eat that much food. 3. They aspire to be great but my breakfast was nothing like the picture. Imagine ordering 'elote hash' that was all potatoes and 5 kernels of corn. Topped with eggs and two slivers of avocado. The hostess/cashier offered me an iced mint mocha saying, "We're not a Starbucks; we're more of a traditional breakfast place. We only have hot drip coffee or these iced coffee beverages. This is the second time in a row we've had mediocre service. Both servers pretty much walked past our table several times to help other customers and completely ignored us. It's not worth spending our money here. We generally tip 25% plus, but the service here wasn't even worth 15%. We will be driving to the Fort Collins location from now on. So this place use to be the Egg & I and man am I glad it changed. The new menu and decor is on point. Fabulous service, clean place and all around mist eat for breakfast in Windsor. I had the BACADO OMELET - Bacon, avocado and Monterey Jack. Topped with sour cream and served with a side of housemade Pico de gallo. The pick was tasty with not too much heat. I got my potatoes well done with a side of sourdough toast. Eggs were fluffy and full of bacon goodness. Avocado was both inside and on the top of the omelet. One of, if not the best place to get breakfast in Windsor Colorado. All the food here is fantastic. I often get and recommend the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos as they are amazing. The potato's on the side are okay. I tend to like my breakfast potato's a little crunch where as here I ordered the potato's and they were a little under cooked for my liking but that is on me as much as it is the restaurant for not specifically saying that when I ordered. In the fall they have a special fall menu called "Fall In Love With Every Bite". If this menu is available when you are here. I would highly recommend the "Million Dollar Bacon" as it is some of the best bacon I have ever eaten. First Watch is a little expensive ($42) for my girlfriend & I but it's worth the money. I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a good breakfast spot in Northern Colorado. I had a morning meditation and although not a fan of beets, the drink works amazing if drank from the glass and not a straw allowing just hints of beet to compliment the drink. The employees were all in a good mood and I overheard one mention how much he enjoys and looks forward coming here to work because of the healthy options and work atmosphere compared to a previous place worked which I will leave unnamed (no, not egg & I). Dark and pretty miserable if you're facing the wall on top of it. Service was attentive. My food arrived lukewarm. Kinda bummer when cheese was not melted. They were happy to warm this up, but the meat then was dried and my poached egg a little overdone. Not a big deal but all this could have berm avoided. We waited for an hour for our food and ended up having to take it to go, I am pretty sure they completely forgot our order and only made it when I asked for it after waiting for our food for over 45 minutes. The waitress also completely forgot to bring us our coffee. The previous 2 times we were there they were more organized; this was completely unacceptable service and we will not be going back again.
