Fischer Brother's Moving did a great job. Due to family medical emergencies, I canceled the move and then last-minute called and requested the date back. They were so friendly and understanding, it made me very comfortable and made a difficult situation so much easier. The movers were friendly and efficient. I was planning on taking lots of items over myself but I was so impressed with their ease and detailed packing I had them move everything. The owner himself reached out after the move to make sure I was happy and satisfied with everything. I greatly appreciated that, and will recommend them to any friends in the future and will absolutely use them again in the future if needed. We have used Fischer brothers moving about five times over the last fifteen years and they have also provided special service. For this last move, we were not able to make it back into town but we had to be out of our house for closing. We had our Realtor meet the movers and let them in. Jim called me from our house and did a facetime call a d walked through with his guys and they packed everything in the cabinets , the dishes , our clothes , and everything. They moved everything out and put in a storage unit. He mailed me the keys to the unit and attached a nice thank you note. Makes us feel appreciated as a customer. He is more polished than your average mover and just an all around good guy with good workers and a good company. read more

I rarely post reviews but my grandfather past away last year and we hired Fischer Brothers to move everything out of my Grandfathers condo in Palm Beach FL. Fischer Brothers was responsible for packing and transporting the goods I inherited from Florida to Washington State. Not only did it take over 4 months to ship the goods from Florida to Washington during shipping they broke or damaged several items (see pictures of some of them below). I contacted Fischer Brothers several times via email and left several messages with Mr. Fischer's receptionist to attempt to resolve this. To date they have not responded so it is time to make sure everyone is aware of the the poor service you get with Fischer Brothers, find someone else to work with. read more

I would NOT recommend this company. I hope that by writing this review, other potential customers will think twice before hiring Fischer Brothers, and instead do their homework and hire a more reliable and PROFESSIONAL company. My wife and I used this company a few months ago, and our experience was as follows: They were quite friendly when we first called, as they do their best effort to earn your business. But once they have your furniture, that completely changes. First off, they will quote you a price that ends up being about HALF of what they actually end up charging you. They told us our move should end up costing around $600, but when they were done they presented a bill for over $1100! Secondly, they FORCE you to pay cash or check only, and they do NOT mention this during time of booking. If I did not have a check on me, they would have not gotten paid, and I would have not gotten my furniture unloaded. Its 2019, who doesn't accept credit card!? And who carries over $1000 cash on them to pay for a service like this? Thirdly, god forbid they should damage anything, you will receive the worst customer service ever trying to submit a claim. Their movers caused some damage to a couple pieces of furniture, and I was given the run around for over a month with unreplied emails, unreturned calls, and eventually one of their managers verbally insulting me and my wife on the phone by calling us "stupid" and "pains in the ass." We were told they have "better things to do than deal with people like us" and that "our claim was being denied" despite him ever looking at the pictures, solely because we were "bothering" him. The funny thing is that I only called a few times over the course of a month, which is hardly considered "bothering." Also, I was never seeking monetary compensation. I was very reasonable in asking if they would send a repairman to see if the damage could be fixed, but apparently they prefer to drag on the process until you just give up. At one point, the manager that insulted me said they would give me $50 and that it would take 3 months to receive the money. What a terrible experience... as if moving isn't stressful enough, I would hate for anyone to go through what I or any of the other poorly treated customers before me went through! THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE. I would never expect movers to scream at me 'GIVE ME CASH'. It was as if I was in a stick-up. Especially since the assigned movers are yelling at me and contradicting the quoted rates and accepted payment methods. The movers were hostile and obviously lying and taking advantage of a single girl's move. I am disgusted with this company. The movers told me that I must pay them in 30-minute intervals, not 15 as quoted. I must pay with cash, not card or check as quoted. It was an extremely uncomfortable situation. This company does not practice good ethics and they are ignorant of what is customer service. There was no confirmation call prior to the move day and no communication the day of on an estimated arrival time. Sending an aggressive, lazy, mover under the influence is atrocious. read more

Extremely unprofessional. Movers demanded full payment AFTER the truck was loaded and held the furniture hostage until paid in advance, plus an additional hour worth of labor. Refused to unload until payment was received. This was after they got lost for a half hour while they were on the phone, distracted, and managed to lose track of the car they were following. Movers were disrespectful and the management office wasn't any better. Customer service instructed that I should "just deal with the movers" and repeatedly hung up the call instead of managing the movers or triaging. Between the shady business practice and awful attitudes, save yourself a bait and switch situation and find another company. It all started when Richard Harris came to our house and gave us a quote for our move. The window for the quote was 11-1 and he came at 12:00 so not off to a bad start. He explained everything to us including moving process, procedures, the truck, insurance, storage, etc. They were thirty minutes late the day off the move but they got to work pretty quick. Had is all packed up and out of the house in a few hours. They stored our stuff for a little less then a month and delivered it out and everything was good condition. Let me tell you something. I first encountered this company 30years ago when we moved from Connecticut . We had a problem with our slate table tops. Mr. Fischer quickly resolved the problem and we were reimbursed for replacement. 30 years later, I used them to move out of our house. Far and away the most reasonable and reliable moving company I ever encountered. I highly recommend.  An extremely positive experience from estimate to final destination.. Alex and his helper who packed were timely and clean. The Driver, Chris, and Todd arrived on time and loaded efficiently. Pleasant group of people. Almost five stars, like a four and a half. Only thing that bothered me a little was that one of the movers had the mouth of a sailor. But he worked well and the other men just as well. The estimator was on time and polite and they gave us a fair price. The moving truck and crew showed up on time and the men jad enough padding and supplies to protect our stuff. We needed a last minute move when we closed after we thought we were not going to. We had a lot of furniture and our place was a mess and we were not really packed or prepared. Fischer Brothers came to the rescue. Jim came out for an estimate and got us set up for the next day. First , three beautiful guys showed up to get everything packed. They had a lot of boxes and we needed it. They were very careful with our delicate glass and China and made sure everything was organized and labeled. They wrapped up our piano real nice too. The next day, a gigantic truck showed up all shiny, clean, and new. It was all lettered and jazzed up with their logos. Their shield logo is second to none ! I like the symbols. The four beautiful men were all in lettered shirts and got to work like they were on a firetruck showing up to a fire. They were polite, professional, and started wrapping all the furniture so fast. They bagged the mattresses, wrapped our glass furniture in stirofoam, and plastic wrapped our sofas at no charge. Their moving blankets were new and clean. They put down padding to protect our floors. Watching them work was like watching a magic show. They got us loaded up fast and delivered to new two story house and had everything set up by five o clock. They made sure our kids rooms were set up perfectly. It was a magical experience. BEWARE This company in the best of times is unreliable. They took Over 5 months to deliver my items to California from Florida where they are located , well before Covid 19was in China even. Multiple items were inadequately wrapped by them and thus were broken in transit.They subcontract with other carriers who charge an extra "fee" for transferring your items from Fischer bro's trucks to their own trucks. They will not unload your stuff unless you pay up front! No one at Fischer brothers tells you about the delivery time frame or the "extra fees" before you sign up with them!!! As you can imagine over 5+ months, I felt the need for periodic updates to see where my items were. The staff is polite but totally unhelpful referring all questions to the "moving manager "who virtually never answers. I got one email to say my items were in the Midwest then weeks later they gave me less than 24 hours to make arrangements when I was not home(which I had let them know in emails and on the phone Multiple times)so someone could be present AND pay the new drivers(!) when my stuff arrived An altogether frustrating experience with a totally UNPROFESSIONAL organization. Beware! WORST experience of our lives! Think twice before calling White Lion / Fischer Brothers! We have never been treated so poorly...damaged furniture, unprofessional, unprepared, underestimated, and over charged! When we initially called White Lion (who we used for our previous move), we were told our belongings were going to be packed into a pod for easy storage (one month) but, Fischer Brothers showed up to move our four bedroom home with a UNDERSIZED rented Enterprise truck. They were NOT prepared for the move...not enough stickers, did not wrap the furniture correctly, did not log or keep track of the boxes and took three times as long as the quoted estimate to pack the truck (because it was too small). Once our new house was ready, we contacted Fischer Brothers to schedule a move in date. They called to confirm the night before, we took off the day from work and...they did NOT show up! We were told they didn't have enough trucks or men to complete the job and that they would come the next day...which they did. They started to unpack a sufficiently sized truck and unloaded our beds which looked liked they had been keyed. Our Thomasville furniture was dented and scratched! They screwed on our daughter's head board to the wrong end of her bed! Our 2 artificial trees were in pieces...leaves were everywhere! Some of the wrapped furniture had BLOOD stains in between the layers of plastic wrap! Over 12 of the boxes looked like they were attacked by dogs and many of the others were dented or crushed! A brand new (still had the price tag) side table was dented and scratched! So...we called the Fischer Brothers about the damage and were instructed to email the company pictures. We sent 17 pictures and made 4 follow up phone calls! We have NOT heard anything except..."Our claims office is reviewing the information and they will contact you in a few days." I just this past month had scheduled a local, Boca Raton FL move consisting of a 2 bedroom townhome and the whole process could not have gone smoother. After calling around to over 8 different companies, Fischer Brothers quoted me with the most realistic quote and they are licensed and bonded and they assured me everything would be handled with care.. They definitekly held up their end of the bargain. Having moved many times myself over the years, sometimes it best to exppect the worst but the crew led by Bruce was definitely top notch. And everything arrived in flawless condition just as it was taken. The crew was genuine and extremely friendly, all pieces were wrapped, blanketed and then fixed back together upon arrival on site and the price was very reasonable. Total scumbags!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I thought that I was hiring Fischer Brothers, instead an enterprise rental truck showed up with the guys demanding cash as soon as they walked in my door. I texted David from Fisher Bros who said a credit card was ok. after sending pics of card and ID the guys loaded the truck (which took 4 hours) as they stood there talking most of the time .... when they finished they demanded cash or money order again and said they were not releasing my stuff until they were paid. I called the office and was hung up on I had the police come who spoke to David on the phone and david was not only nasty but also left the officer on hold and never came back. they accused us of threatening them when the reality was they were threatening us. absolutely unprofessional and disgusting ! This is the worst moving company ever ! They broke, scratched, and destroyed my beautiful furniture. The Fischer Bro. Quoted a reasonable price and then sent 2 men in a small U-Haul with t-shirts who talked most all the time on the phone then demanded cash and a bill for 2x's the quoted amount or they would not take the furniture off of the truck . The older guy pushed and shoved my furniture in doorways leaving holes and huge scratched walls and doors etc.. then left furniture throne against the walls everywhere and left more then our carport in a pile. I called the owner and he told me to bad there was nothing I can do about it and good luck , because he knew cops and lawyer's and had a great reputation,. laughing at me. I had to hire people to move and setup everything. My husband is in a Veteran and in a wheelchair and very sick. This move was the most heart breaking and stressful experience we ever had ! My husband was hospitalized from the stress and my furniture is ruined. Every piece except for a few pieces were only a year old and the other pieces were missing wooden pieces that can not be replaced with deep long scratches. 3 glass tops and a dining table was broken. Our bed Stern and Foster cover was gone which is the bed.Among broken lamps and heirlooms.This company should be sued and not permitted to ever have a moving business again ever. We used them in the past as well, and had a very similar, positive experience. Both times we had tricky pieces of furniture that require them to disassemble things.
