I was originally given a price for the coolant leak repair, but upon pickup, I was charged an additional $100 with no clear explanation. The worst part is that my car was in perfect condition when I dropped it off--no unusual noises at all. When I picked it up, they told me there was a noise, suggesting it was the power steering pump and belt tensioner. They claimed they didn't notice it earlier because they couldn't test drive the car due to the coolant leak. However, the noise was obvious as soon as the car was turned on, a loud whining sound, and even more noticeable when accelerating. How could they have moved my car without noticing it, but suddenly it appears after they 'fixed' the coolant leak? Now they're saying it needs additional repairs costing $791, for issues that weren't there before. The front desk person, Joe, always says, 'I wasn't here when that happened,' but he was the one who quoted me the initial price and charged me the extra $100. He was also present when I returned to complain about the new noise and tried to cut me off, clearly not wanting other customers to hear our conversation. They told me to bring the car back the following week, supposedly to address the issue. After dropping it off, I received a call saying I needed to pay $791 for repairs to something that wasn't broken when I brought the car in. There's zero accountability here. I took my car to another mechanic, and they suspect the water pump was installed incorrectly, which could damage the tension belt--exactly what's wrong with my car now. They messed up my car, plain and simple. And from I read from previous reviews here, this is not first time they do shady stuff. Everyone beware!

While changing my oil, Dan and the tech, Nikolai, were able to find some other issues including my brakes, egr valve gasket and camshaft plug. They were honest with me regarding what they found and gave me a decent price without tryin to run me up which I appreciated. Overall, they did a great job with my car and they didn't try to push unnecessary work to be done on my car. I will continue to use them and I would highly recommend everyone else to as well. I have been a loyal customer for 8 years, i had a family member who was a mechanic for years and just recently moved away, and he would always use Cassidy and always recommend the place for me for tire issues. I got a new car about a year ago so it had been some time since I've been to the shop. i took it in last week for a simple tire rotation and balance something that would have costed me just under $100 has turned into a literally nightmare and costing me hundreds. Cassidy tires stripped my lugnut and claimed to me that the car came in that way, well that doesn't make any sense considering we were able to take the tire off by hand the night before and now the next day it's stripped and can't come off? Weird. Took it to another shop which confirmed with us that it seems like Cassidy put the impact gun on too aggressively and it stripped the lugnut... now i wouldn't have an issue if Cassidy would take responsibility for the issue but they refuse to, they want to charge us $175 an hour to fix a lugnut that they messed up... i am really not one to bash a place or leave a negative review but Cassidy tire has made my entire week and last week a living hell considering i had to get a rental car now because im in an out of town wedding this weekend. my car will need well over a hundreds of dollars in repairs to fix Cassidy's mistake, when they easily could have let me know they stripped it and taken responsibility.
