As usual, Everything was great; Food, Service, and Ambiance! Sad you closed the restaurant in North Hills, closer to us, and I spent a lot of time there.

I met my mom here for dinner recently. We've been to this location before and have always had a good experience. This time was no different. Our waiter was nice and efficient. My mom ordered a noodle bowl and I ordered green mussels. Everything tasted great and had good flavor! Our experience was smooth and the food was great!

Great seafood restaurant with a TON of options If you like seafood boils... look no further. This is the only place I've encountered in the Pittsburgh area that has seafood boils. You can customize one or order a preselected boil. They have 5 different seasoning options and you can also choose your spice level. I had the medium spiced house blend (all of the seasonings mixed together) with lobster, shrimp, and turkey sausage. AMAZING. They even provide you with bibs, gloves, and claw crackers if applicable. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. They also have a full bar with daily drink specials. I may have a new obsession...

Hola First let me just say this. The service is more than adequate. The people are very kind and provide very kind service. The ambiance was also adequate. However, the food was cold. My girlfriend and I go to many seafood boil places. We have a knack for it. We always take our food out of the bag to eat it. Storming crab in the Waterfront taught us this and they are still to this day the best seafood boil place. Back to the story, it took 5 mins for the food to be cold and the meat did not taste fully cooked and the crab was definitely not fully cooked. Also, our appetizer, fried calamari was not fully cooked either. Very sad and uneventful but we will not be returning to this place to eat after this first and only adventure here. Even though the service was fine, the food was below average and we can't rock with that. We waited about 20 minutes at the end of our meal to even get out boxes or bill when there was only 3 other tables of people. Unacceptable!

I have been to the Ross location earlier this week and this Monroeville location can't hold a candle to the other one. This Monroeville location is extremely disappointing. Met some girlfriends for a birthday dinner at 6pm. It took 15 minutes to get a drink. I was ready to leave at that point but the others wanted to stay. It took another 15 minutes to just have our server come back to take our order. They only had the front bar part open so it really wasn't busy for how big the restaurant is. Our food finally came and was not the same quality I was used to at the Ross location but it was hot and still seemed good at the time. We finally left at 7:30. Slow service is an understatement. There where 2 servers and for the amount of customers that where there, really shouldn't have taken so long. After eating I went to restroom to wash my hands and I noticed how filthy the bathroom was and then I started looking around. I wish I would have done so before eating because the whole place was dirty. Now I am home and my stomach isn't feeling so good. While our server was slow she was nice. However I know people twice her age that could have ran circles around her. Either way I will never be back to this location. I regret not taking more photos of the filth but I didn't take my phone to the restroom.

The food isn't fresh and not tasty at all. We regret driving 30 minutes to this place As you can see in the picture. We payed and our food is as it is (couldn't eat it)

The first seafood boil restaurant in Pittsburgh! I've been waiting patiently and it did not disappoint. I've been to restaurants in other cities so I know how they work. This place got it right and I highly recommend it. They dont have their liquor license yet so I'll update my review once I've tried their drinks. The menu was impressive so I look forward to checking it out. I had the shrimp and snow crab boil with mild cajun flavor. Love it! Not to spicy or overpowering. The portions were perfect and it was cooked perfectly. The restaurant was clean, everyone was friendly and they have a great menu. I look forward to trying other menu items. Parking is hit or miss since it's in a strip mall but I think I'll make a habit of going during the week to avoid weekend crowds. First timers or veterans alike will love this place.

Shrimp (no head) and Clams Combo 3.5.2023
    Fed D.

On Sunday, March 5, 2023 I went to the Ocean Treasures Cajun Seafood and Bar restaurant located in Monroeville, Pa 15146. I ordered the shrimp (no head) and clams combo. The only complaint I have is the clam meat was too small for the price. The clam meat was smaller than a U. S. penney (see the attached photo for details). I do not recommend the clams. My server (Niambi) and the manager (Brooke), in essence said the clams I received is size they always get.

    Chardae J.

I had a very pleasant experience. The service was quick, the food was flavorful and came out perfect. I was in a hurry and needed a quick bite before a speaking engagement. I got their shrimp and I would definitely get it again. Next time I'm going to go for the crab boil as that's completely up my alley.

Shrimp, Black Mussels, Crab in house sauce (medium spice)

Visited for the first time over the weekend and left thinking that it may be one of my new favorite places. The food here is unreal. They have all manner of fresh seafood which you can order by the pound, half-pound, or in combo form and they take your selections and boil it all together in a bag with your chosen sauces and seasonings (I highly recommend the house seasoning) and at your chosen spice level. Depending on how your order, you'll get potatoes, corn, and eggs in your bag as well soaking up those same juices. It's messy, but they do provide you with a bib and gloves to dig your way through it. I usually don't enjoy food that makes me work for it but, in this case, it was more than worth it. To top it off, our service overall was excellent and very helpful. We'll be making a return trip sooner rather than later.

If I could give more stars I would. We have been so happy every time we've come to Ocean Treasures on McKnight Road. The quality of the food, the service and of course the friendly robot that wanders around playing a happy tune. We heard him singing happy birthday the other day to someone and it was delightful. Our food has always been outstanding, if you are looking for a fantastic, delicious seafood meal this is definitely the place to stop. Oh the fried shrimp is delicious their calamari is fantastic. Are usually get one of their seafood boils. I think my favorite so far has been I combination of 1 pound Of crab legs and a half a pound of shrimp altogether with whole red potatoes, 1/2 ear of corn, And a hard-boiled egg. I always get not spicy and their house blend of seasonings. OMG it's simply delicious. Thank you Thank you for opening & for being so close to our home. 10 stars

From Cuddy's soul food I ordered a pork soul roll and a steak and cheese soul roll. I started out with the smaller of the two which ended up being the pork roll. It was a bit on the greasy side but the flavor was good. It was very porky and I appreciated the collard greens which cut through the pork and then the sweet potatoes which added a bit of sweetness. Then the steak and cheese roll is what you would expect. Lots of steak and cheese with a hint of peppers which made it a very tasty roll. Then I would I be remiss to not mention the sauce which was sweet and spicy and absolutely delicious. I enjoyed dipping both rolls into it and imagine I would like it on just about anything. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I ordered the 4-piece chicken wing dinner thinking that full-size wings and two sides would be enough food. I was wrong. The wings were about 50% as large as I expected, leaning closer to what I would order by the dozen at any sports bar. My friend's 4-piece chicken tender meal had noticeably more meat and even cost less. Which was very disappointing because the wings were delicious! Perfectly fried with a textured, well-seasoned skin and juicy meat inside. My side of candied yams was fine; the sauce was too watery to stick, but it was sweet enough and the yams were cooked acceptably. My side of macaroni & cheese was flat-out inedible. The noodles were boiled/baked into mushy oblivion with no detectable texture. The cheese sauce had separated both from the noodles and from itself, into grainy lumps and oil. It was repulsive and should never have left the kitchen. After I housed my wings and yams, I was still famished. I quickly ordered a batch of chicken tenders to satisfy my craving, and they were delightful. Juicy, well-spiced and the perfect amount of breading. Cuddy's chicken comes with dipping sauce included, but only two flavors are free and the rest are $1.00 surcharge. Which is odd, because these premium choices are relatively standard wing flavors like "tangy gold" (BBQ), garlic parmesan, and spicy BBQ. Overall, I was disappointed. I might return now that I know what (not) to order, but I would never go out of my way for what is a roll of the dice on food quality.

I wound up walking two blocks downhill to a park with benches. Second, that all orders are cooked to order and take 25 minutes. The food: the chicken and catfish are fried in light crispy breading, very fine. The chicken wingettes were delicious. The catfish was not easily flaked and was ever so slightly rubbery, which would have been a very bad sign if it had been any more so. But it wasn't too bad. Green beans are a good side dish at this sort of joint, and these were good, seasoned with meat and sautéed onions mixed in. The white rice was entirely plain but tasty.

No one came to greet us for maybe five minutes, and I started to get nervous because there were only about five other occupied tables in the restaurant and I figured that servers would be pretty prompt. The person that served us turned out to be the bartender as the bar was right next to our table. This person did not offer us water, ask have you been here before, or any of the other pleasantries that all the other wait staff was telling to the other tables that we could hear. The other wait staff was telling people about the breakfast and their specials and the biscuits and everything and we got nothing. I don't know why we weren't seated somewhere with a server who didn't have to also deal with the bar, but our service was extremely slow and I am sure that is why. I ordered the lemonade and it was really delicious except that I would've liked to have had a water to drink as well. My husband ordered an iced coffee which he said was good but it was in a very tiny brandy type glass that could not have been more than 6 ounces. They were definitely not over easy; they were overcooked. Everything else was acceptable but not delicious. My husband's chicken was very juicy. He didn't get his salad until a few minutes after our entrées were delivered though. A different server brought the salad over to us and she said "ha ha found it" trying to make a joke, but it was like yeah we get it. You guys aren't very good at running food out. When it was time to pay, it took us asking for the bill to get it and then at least five minutes for it to be picked back up when we would've liked to have been on our way. The food was ordinary and the service was pretty bad. We won't be back again. Our breakfast was $50 plus $10 tip and parking and we can get much better service elsewhere for that same price.
