    Cajun Pasta

So, this spot has become an option in our "no cook" dinner nights. Their fried and grilled fish were seasoned well and delicious. Their garlic bread was just ok, and their hush puppies were still kind of too sweet. But, my family's go to dish lately has been their Cajun pasta. They gave us a generous amount of chicken, shrimp, and bell peppers. Their pasta was also plentiful with good texture. We could taste the Cajun spices coming through. I really enjoyed the creaminess and the tomato sauce undertones in this pasta as well. It's not much to look at inside. But, most people come here for quick takeout food. Overall, my family and I enjoy the food here. We still have to try out their poboys and etouffee next time.

We ordered the Cajun pasta, fried catfish and grilled redfish. The Cajun pasta was creamy without being over indulgent. It had notes of tomato and tasted similar to a vodka sauce. The fried catfish was moist and crunchy. The overall flavor wasn't as pronounced as the pasta. The grilled fish was a little fishy. The flavor was stronger than the fried catfish though.

Ordered Fish Place via Uber eats and I'm not quite sure how "Fish" can be in your business name, and you cook it so poorly. I ordered the fish and onion rings and my husband ordered a shrimp poboy. The fish was nearly inedible. I have no idea what "particular fish" this was, as they did not state on the Uber menu, but I'm positive it's a low quality, more than likely swai. It was over cooked, hard and the breading they use is a strong miss, in both flavor and texture. Onion rings were hard and tasted as if they used the same grease they fried the fish in. They give you a stake piece if garlic bread for what is unclear but I ended up throwing it away. The poboy was NOT much better. There are so many places in the area, Eat here at your own risk. Quite frankly I'm surprised they have any stars. Would never go back.

This was my 1st visit in a long time. I must say my fried fish dinner was delicious. Even the fries were seasoned to perfection. The fish wasn't over cooked and dry. I don't normally post reviews, but I frequently rely on reviews to determine where I'm going next.

They have great fried redfish. Red beans and rice taste pretty good. Hot and fresh food.

The food is consistently good, and most of the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the manager is a completely different story. This is not the first time I've been there and heard her yelling at an employee loud enough for customers to hear the entire conversation. Sitting at the bar and hearing that is uncomfortable, embarrassing, and honestly very unprofessional. No employee should be spoken to that way, even if they made a mistake. If this is what customers are hearing, I can only imagine how often it happens behind the scenes. Erick and Dylan are amazing and always take great care of me when I'm there. My order was for one of the lunch specials which was a cup of seafood gumbo and 1/2 poboy (crawfish) with fries for $15. The seafood gumbo was very good tasting with a rich roux taste but it had 2 or 3 shells in it. The 1/2 po boy was the same with quality bread, fried crawdads and dressed well. The fries are also always a winner. Deb was my waiter and was very professional. I've had this lunch at the other locations and it was equally good. I like Floyd's and believe they serve very good seafood. I wish their regular dinner entrees weren't so expensive. My lunch is a real value but most of their menu items are in the high twenties or even in the thirties $$$.

I tried the French Quarter and my friend had the Mack Daddy's Hangover Burger. I want to vent regarding the parking situation. All the outside parking places are only for people who have a parking app, & pay for the privilege of patronizing businesses. The French Quarter was excellent the cornbread at the bottom was soft and flavorful with a tiny kick of heat! The crawfish were perfectly cooked in a savory sauce. The only thing I would change is the eggs were cooked about 7 - 10 seconds too long congealing the yolk. Other than that my dish war perfect. My friend's Mack Daddy's Hangover he said was outstanding! He could only finish half, the rest he said would be lunch tomorrow. Paul, our waiter was attentive and responsive. This was expected and performed flawlessly. I recommend this restaurant, but they do not get 5 stars. GN3

The space itself is massive with plenty of indoor seating, so even with the usual Sunday crowd, we got a table without any long, drawn-out wait. The atmosphere is completely laid back, loud, and smells like pure garlic and butter the second you walk through the door. For the main event, I went with the Combo #10, which comes loaded with a half-pound of snow crab legs, a half-pound of headless shrimp, a half-pound of sausage, three boiled eggs, corn, and potatoes. I opted for the signature Juicy Crab seasoning at the hot level. My baseline for heat is naturally pretty high, and while this didn't have me sweating, it had a legit, beautiful kick with serious depth. It wasn't just mindless spice; the garlic-heavy cajun blend was firing on all cylinders, and every single thing in that bag was perfectly saturated. The crab was sweet and slid right out of the shell, and the sausage added a great smoky contrast to the seafood. Because we clearly have no portion control, we also shared the shrimp fried rice. Usually, side dishes at boil joints are a dry afterthought, but this was surprisingly elite. It was savory, packed with a generous amount of shrimp, and served as the perfect canvas to pour the leftover bag juice over. By the end of the meal, the table was a complete disaster, but the flavor and execution were top-tier. I will absolutely be back to handle business again.

I actually drove an entire hour in bad weather just to try it and it was worth every single minute. From the first bite, the flavor was unforgettable. The seasoning is executed to perfection bold, buttery, Cajun-forward with the ideal balance of salt and spice. Rich, well layered, and deeply satisfying. The crawfish were easily some of the best I've ever had: generously sized, beautifully seasoned, and packed with flavor. While a few were smaller, they were still impressively meaty, which speaks to the overall quality and consistency. Every bite delivered that crave-worthy, finger licking goodness. We also ordered the shrimp and crawfish fried rice combo, and fried tilapia and it was phenomenal hands down one of the best fried rice dishes I've had in a long time. The flavors were bold and perfectly infused throughout. Just thinking about it again has my mouth watering. The service was exceptional friendly, efficient, and welcoming.
