I ordered two Poboys togo. And asked for some cocktail sauce on the side. They wanted to change me extra for it solely because I was asking for on the side not on the sandwich. Next time I'll take myself to Pappadeaux's. They will give me all the extra cocktail sauce I ask for. I feel bad for the people that work there. The cashier was very sweet. The acting manager just lost a customer " Jose" for life and I'll make sure everyone on my social media. Knows they to petty to give out condiments!

I went into Callioppe Seafood and APO boy and I saw a worker there did not greet me , but continued to sweep. When she was through about three minutes she went behind the counter and took my order. Then it happened again another customer came in and she ignored her, until she filled the beverage container. Definitely not mirroring the Belfort location. Roast beef was super dry, bread was hard, and I'm not happy about it. Roast beef should stay in hot gravy. My sandwich had dry roast beef and a sprinkle of gravy With a hard slice of cheese. Ridiculous!

Saw this place on tic tok and decided to try it out, the restaurant itself was small chairs we're not to comfy. The day we went it was warm, we wanted to eat inside but ate pretty fast and left because it was a little warm. Service was fine, I don't think I would go back and eat there again. Although my husband and son did enjoy there food, definitely try for yourself.

AMAZING! Louisiana ambiance and totally takes you back there. Food is always a 10/10 and the service is super friendly. I always come here when I'm in town.

I went by for dinner a couple of weeks ago for the first time. Parking is plentiful as the restaurant is located in the end cap of a strip center on Westheimer. Walking in, I immediately liked the interior. Whomever decorated this restaurant did a good job capturing the feel of New Orleans. Smaller inside than expected, I walked up to the counter to order. This location also has a drive thru window. I ordered the small surf n turf poboy combo for $9.95 before tax. The food was ready in about 10 minutes and during the wait I visited the self serve drink station for their sweet tea. It was very good and I fully expected an excellent meal. The surf n turf is a shrimp and roast beef combination poboy and this one was not up to my high expectations. While the small poboy is plenty of food for one, the taste just wasn't there. I thought the roast beast needed more flavor and the fried shrimp average with the bread being decent. I thought this might be a 4-5 but it turned out to be a 3. The French fries were standard frozen out of bag and a bit of a disappointment at that (2). Not a bad meal but only average and if I return I might not order again and instead try something else on the menu. I will be generous here and give a 3 overall.

I went thru the drive thru and the customer service far exceeded my expectations. I wanted to try the Cajun shrimp salad but was told it had just been added to the menu and wasn't available to order yet so I went with the grilled shrimp salad. It was pretty good overall. I didn't like that the shrimp still had the tails on them so I had to peel them off of each of them before adding it to the salad to eat. I also would've preferred the onions and tomatoes to have been cut up a lil more as opposed to huge slices. The veggies were fresh tho and I also ordered a small side of jalapeño hush puppies which were decent as well. I would give them another try just bc the customer service was really great.

I ordered the small hurricane daquiri along with the 2 piece catfish with fries and a side salad and a slice of french bread. It was pleasantly good. I will definitely be going back because they have a convenient drive thru just in case you dont feel like a crowd. Pros-The fish is big so you only need one. The spicy tarter sauce was a nice surprise. The spicy ketchup was even better. Cons- I need more than one container of ketchup and tarter sauce and they only put one in the bag. Also the ranch dressing was tiny.

Soo..I can't tell you how much I've passed the place right on Westheimer...and just kept on going. One evening, I had a taste for boudin balls and this place came up on my search. I decided to finally stop in. I decided to order the chicken fried rice along with an order of the boudin balls (carry out). You order at the counter and you can either carry out or dine-in. The food is prepared as you order (I suppose), but they were super quick. My food was probably ready in about 10 minutes. I got in my car and drove home, which probably took about 5 minutes. I then changed my clothes and piddled around my apartment for a few minutes before diving into my food. When I dug in, the food was still piping hot! I mean, I found this quite amazing. The food was HOT and maintained the heat as I made my way through the food. I was literally amazed at how fresh everything was. The boudin balls were large and well seasoned. They had the perfect exterior crunchiness and were soft and yummy on the inside. The fried rice comes with a sauce (presumably, butter based) that you are able to spread over the rice. It definitely enhances the flavor; however, the rice is definitely good without it. The only gripe I had with this dish is that the chicken was a bit overcooked. It was crunchy and hard and for a minute, I thougtht I had ordered fried shrimp. That definitely wasn't a good look, but it wasn't that big a deal. There actually isn't much chicken in the dish to really downgrade the whole experience. The rice is definitely a huge portion....and I enjoyed every bite. I would definitely recommend this gem of a place...and I can't wait to go back to try other things on the menu! FYI, they do have a drive-thru! :)

Not a lot of seating, more of a togo place.

The place was like walking into the 50's, with the old school metal tables and ample linoleum. I LOVE Louisiana cooking, and it couldn't have been more authentic. The only problem I had with my shrimp gumbo is the bowl was too small (actually a filling portion) and loaded with succulent, tender shrimp. Yummmmm! The cornbread was sublime and dipping it in the gumbo was killer! John had a Po Boy and said it was heavenly. The fries were obviously fresh cut and perfect. We finished with the bread pudding as we are both connoisseurs, and boy did it not disappoint. Thank You for yet another 5 star experience and a return visit will be on the horizon! Cheers, JimG

Time to Appetizers: 20 Minutes Time to Crawfish: 25 Minutes It's a solid branch from the main location in Bellaire, but they're missing some things. For example, the Bellaire location has the new Viet-Cajun flavor of sauce that hasn't debuted here yet (though you can DIY a mix). (Review is for July 2026 if they've updated since then) We got here at 6:05PM and got seated with no issues. Ordered the following: Combo #1 with extra corn and potatoes (3.5/5): Crawfish isn't in season, so don't be surprised at my low rating. It's still great and flavorful all around. Garlic Noodles with Shrimp (4/5): Still incredibly rich and buttery and garlicy and great for a palate cleanser. I'd skip the shrimp; you get eight pieces for $10 extra and that's not really worth it. Crawfish Beignets (4.5/5): Still a fantastic appetizer. Comes out hot, crispy, buttery, and is a really indulgence. 1 lb. Little Neck Clams (4.5/5): I liked these more than the crawfish tbh. It really does depend on what's in season. Very easy to eat, very flavorful. Service was generally good but our server seemed slammed; it took a long time to get water refills and to place extra orders (we got a second order of beignets to-go). Market price for crawfish is high and they're not in season, so don't be afraid to ask. The Combo #1 in July 2026 was $22. Overall, I'll probably be back during crawfish season especially because it's more convenient for me than the Bellaire location, but the Bellaire location has it beat for general atmosphere after the remodeling and much better options for mixes there.
