I wish I would of read the yelp reviews before calling this company for an appointment. I've used them Nearly 10 times though and always found them to be fair priced and reliable. I've referred them out literally dozens of times. I called them to install a drain. The price was insane so I told them no thanks. Last night when I got home from work I walked in to see my boyfriend turning into the hulk. He was very upset that the kitchen sink stopped working and the water was coming out as a sad drip. We just had an expensive plumbing company out here a few months ago dropping a few hundred so this was not ideal..especially at 9pm. I quickly went to my new BFF, yelp, and saw Fisher plumbing. We gave it a shot and everything worked out better than we could have imagined when we talked to Paul. For night calls he charges time and a half but he first walked my boyfriend through the problem and ended up solving it on the phone right then and there. It was a miracle! The other guys were going to charge us $179 just to come out and wouldn't even ask what the problem was as the phone operator was clueless to plumbing. Probably would've dropped $300-$400 if we had them come out. Instead we have gotten our faucet working thanks to Paul and just need to replace the sprayer, but can still use it in meantime. He saved us time, money, and most importantly a lot of stress and frustration! We will definitely be going to him from now on. I have used Fisher plumbing several times. I have always received excellent service. When I had a leak in the garage of my townhome and could not easily locate the source, they sent Donny, hired for his leak finding specialty. Donny spent several hours testing, retesting and inspecting pipes for leaks. He was being thorough and could honestly say that he did his due diligence, and that I apprecited. The leak was not coming from any pipes in my unit. Occasionally, leaks find their way down beams originated outside your unit. When he could not find a leak after several hours inspecting through a hole he cut in my ceiling in the garage and running every faucet for long periods and flushing every toilet 20 times, checking for visible leaks, inspecting each faucet and drain, he was able to say with confidence that it wasn't my leak. And the kicker? He did not charge me for his time, though I had signed a contract agreeing to pay $250.00 for his work to find the leak, to be applied to the cost in repairing the leak once found. He said that he didn't feel right charging me for a leak that was clearly not mine and that being outside my unit, he was unable to locate and fix. I was able to give notification in writing to alert the HOA and he said they could call his company and him personally for verification. Whenever I have a plumbing issue I call Fisher Plumbing. I always have a great experience. Today I had to call them as my washer decided to flow over and flood the main floor of my house. Steven showed up with a smile at my door and early. I wasn't sure if there was a clog in the drain or if it was the washer that caused the flood. He was very professional and went straight to work to determine the issue. Well it wasn't a plumbing issue, but the washer. So no charge for the visit which I was thankful for since I was going to have to put out money on getting a new washer or at least repair it as well as the cost involved for cleaning up the flood mess. Gouge should be in their name. I used Fisher for a few clear outs and then a larger sewer re-sleeve for my house and sisters a few years back and they were good and reasonable. Had a larger clear out issue 9 months ago and the price they quoted to redo the pipes under the house was laughable. I passed. I gave them a second chance yesterday on Father's day when our water heater looked like it died. Water on the floor and not hot water. The guy came out and didn't touch anything, looked at his handy rip off pricing book, and quoted me $4900 to replace a 75 gal. water tank. I laughed and he said he'd call his boss. They came back with a good customer discount down to $4400. I asked him to leave. I spoke to another company on the phone and same water heater replace would be $2100 with a better warranty. When he came out this AM he looked all around the existing heater and took off the insulation sleeve on the pipe and noticed a tiny pinhole leak. That was it!!! $40 in parts and $90 for the call. The Fisher guy didn't even walk within 3 feet of it. Paul used to get involved, but I think their M.O. now is to get the max price they possibly can and walk if it isn't a huge profit job. Sorry, but we've taken them out of our contact list and will use this other plumber going forward. read more

Great service. From the time of call to the time the job was done was one hour. Amazingly fast service. I am in Simi so maybe that has something to do with it. Some reviews saying they wouldn't come out for days may have been something else going on but for me everything was fast and great service. Joe was my Plummer that came out and he was so nice gave me some tips on how to prevent future problems. He was great. Even gave me a magnet. Haha. Really happy with the service I received! I had a leak that I could not locate and called Fisher Plumbing. A friendly rep took my info and was able to get a plumber out to me the next day. Joe arrived as scheduled and could not have been more friendlier and informative. He spent about 20 minutes diagnosing the problem. We both were not quite sure visibly where the leak was coming from but he was able to eliminate possibilities (i.e. Irrigation system, Hot water heater, sewer etc.) It came down to where he told me he needed to call the "Camera Guy" which would cost me $350 bucks for him to run it through my lines to see where the leak was coming from. Not to mention that it was going to cost a pretty penny to tear up, fix and replace. Now we are talking some serious bucks and getting my Insurance company involved. So just as Joe called the camera guy to come on over - he looked over and noticed that I had an old Water Softener System (Which I was not using but hooked up to the pipes) He reached over and pressed the bypass button. THAT DID THE TRICK! Apparently it was leaking into my irrigation drain all of this time costing me money on my water bill. I thanked him and he was on his way. Like I said about 20 minutes AND didn't cost me anything for the diagnosis. Love it when things work out well. I went from stressing about costing me 1,000s to zero in a couple of minutes... I have used Fisher Plumbing over the last 7 years. Last week, on a Saturday, I had them out to connect a sink drain after remodelling the bathroom. (No extra Saturday charge!) Can I start by saying the call to a plumber is a similar feeling to taking my car to the mechanic. I don't know enough about the issues to know if I am being taken advantage of or not. I called Fisher out for a clogged tub and sure enough I had a bigger issue than just a routine snack out. The plumber ANTONIO gave me a walk through of all that was wrong. With their advanced technology even showed me exactly where the blockage was. I quickly googled and did a fast price comparison and was pleased with the price quote. Adeedo bought out Fisher Plumbing who I trusted and worked for many years. They told me on the phone that they were still Fisher Plumbing...but that this is not so!!! They have too many coordinators and project managers inter mingling in the project. There was a lot of miscommunications, with very little follow up. I had to keep calling them to get updates and rescheduling the work. They damaged my wood floor and because the communication was so difficult and no follow through....I finally gave up. FAIR PRICES AND GREAT WORK!!! My home was built in 1963, and although the plumbing inside the home was changed to copper plumbing before I bought it, the original pipes that go from the home to the street are the old pipes that now require snaking once every 1 - 2 years. The previous plumbing company tried to suggest that there might be tree roots or a cracked pipe that would require thousands of dollars to resolve my overflow problems. When I insisted they do the "free" camera inspection, it didn't show any of that, and they had already cut a hole in my bathroom wall that they didn't repair after they snaked my bathroom pipe. The next time I had a drain stoppage, I tried Fisher Plumbing and Joseph just came in, snaked the drain, only charged $79, instead of the $99 I was charged by the other company and gave me some helpful hints to keep it clear longer. It lasted almost 2 full years before I had to call them again. This time Alberto came out and did the same quick and efficient job for the same $79. Neither one of these gentlemen tried to "scare" me or gouge me. They both were knowledgeable and efficient, gave good suggestions and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave anything requiring repair. Color me happy. Called with a problem @ 4:00 on a Friday afternoon. Vinny came at about 5:30 and ran a camera from the far end of the house all the way to the street and showed me I had no root problems. Then he went to the problem bathroom in the middle of the house and worked from there. 10 minutes later, problem solved. with multiple 5 gallon buckets of water poured through touilet in rapid succession to prove all was OK. Fisher Plumbing sent Antonio out to to my commercial plumbing work. He started the job on a Saturday and even offered to finish on Sunday (which was also Father's Day). The job was fully complete by Monday. He was friendly, respectful and kept my shop nice and clean. We are new tenants in an industrial complex and the management was very happy the water to the building was shut off on the weekend instead of the week during business hours. The city frantically contacted us because we had a "major leak" in our home. We thought there might be something happening outside underneath some tile on our porch, but nothing was visible. Since we've never needed a plumber and didn't know of anyone reputable I came here to Yelp to find some info. I saw Tiffany's review and decided to call Fisher Plumbing. I asked for Paul (thanks Tiffany!) but unfortunately he was busy. That's to be expected. So I left my number, but unfortunately he didn't return my call (I think this is my fault, I never notified the person who took the message that it was urgent). I called again and asked if Paul could call me back, this time letting them know it was important. Paul called me back within 30 minutes. I let him know the of the issue and he offered to stop by on his way home. Not out of the ordinary right? Well it was 8PM at night. Plus I got the impression he was not going to charge us to check out our situation, but I don't know this for certain. 9PM Paul shows up, takes a look at our problem, fixes it in no time, we pay him, give him some cookies and poof he was gone. Called Fisher to snake a drain and unclog a toilet. Our tech, Alfonzo, was timely, polite, efficient, and smart. He could have left and charged me after clearing the back up but something was bothering him. He went the extra mile and it paid off. He found a rubber ball wedged in one of our drain pipes that has probably been there for decades and slowing clogging our guest bath. Huge fix. They have made multiple visits to my home over the past 30 years but this most recent weekend was very disappointing. My "confirmed" appointment for Saturday afternoon did not arrive. I was called and told it had to be rescheduled after waiting at home 3 hours. When the service man arrived on the rescheduled day, he gave me a price to do a 40 gal. Water heater replacement of $2500.00. Needless to say I had sticker shock. I called several other plumbers and I will have the job done for well less than half of fishers quoted price. read more
