I originally met a man in his Fisher Plumbing Truck, parked in the HOME DEPOT parking lot, four years ago. I had a question about a toilet, and he answered me straight forwardly, and I asked for his business card. I saved it for years. ----- Now I have a problem, that may or may not actually be a plumbing issue, but I have to do the checking out of it, in the event it is..... I now have a weird smell only at night wafting in my house. It smells like a high pitched, acrid, almost smoky smell. Some people say it might be a "dead creature", and it might well be, but it comes in as a "gaseous, noxious fume" that sucks the air out of the room, and makes my nose and eyes burn from about 1am to 5am. Then it smells normal all day long.... I said it was WEIRD!!! I did my research. The internet, shows a lot of people with NIGHT SMELLS..... I called the Gas company, the City Sewer, my Handyman and we checked under the house in the crawl-space, the attics, etc. Last thing to get to was the ROOF vents and drains and all the ptraps and sink drains.....Through two days of investigation, I think I met most of the Fisher Crew. My vent pipe on the roof was too small for th e camera or snake to get in, BUT, they ran hose water through it and that really cleaned it out. Nothing seemed to be leaking anywhere.... They snaked all the drains and found one "hair plug" in one sink. Everything else seemed clear. They were kind, and smart, and made me feel comfortable with everything. If I end up needing the vent and sewer lines snaked, we have to go in from the pipes in the yard, and that is a whole nother thing. So I am waiting. Meantime, the smell is still there, but not gaseous or heaviness in the air. I think clearing the vents and pipes has helped. Meantime, I need to wait it out a while. If the smell gets worse, or starts to permeate like gas again, I will call them back to do the SEWER CLEANSE. I give them five stars. Not every problem is actually a plumbing issue, but they really helped make it better..... Plus, they explained it as they went along, so I could make my decisions, and they were very fair on price as well. HONESTY and FAIR PRICES! WOW!!!! read more

I too have been using Fisher Plumbing for the last few years and with mixed results. I actually met Paul once when he came to my house in response to them seriously dropping the ball on a missed appointment. He was a good, knowledgeable guy, but he is certainly sub-contracting out work and the pricing is not standardized. Today I called for a quote to replace an 8' section of gas pipe in my backyard. Someone in an Adeedoo van showed up. When I asked about the van, the guy said Fisher(?) had just bought the company and they "haven't peeled the sticker off yet". Then quoted $2,300 from a book to "install new gas line and appliance". Needless to say I told him I needed to get a second opinion. Fisher plumbing is now Adeedo. I called for an appointment to review my plumbing issue and made an appointment. I received a timely call to notify me of when to expect my service rep. Alfonso arrived, I told him of my concern with a bad odor in my hall bathroom. I did remove my toilet in preparation for my appointment. I told Alfonso I didnt have a blockage, just a bad odor. He did a video scan from my master bathroom all the way to the street via the sewer system. My pipes were in great condition, I could see the water Alfonso started in our shower. No debris, no blockage. What a relief! The video service gave me amazing relief!The smell was coming from our hall bathroom shower, not getting use for an extended period of time, the trap was dry. 7/17/12 Called this morning and got an appointment later in the day. Alberto came to the house with a smile and friendly attitude. I explained that the water from the washing machine was backing up in the kitchen sinks. He went right to work and snaked the drainage line. He had to go over 100 ft. for it to finally drain. He then explained the cause and other options if I wanted. He offered a "Hydro Jet Cleaning" of the pipes. Told me the procedure and the total cost. I was pleased and agreed to have it done. He hydro jetted the lines several times to make sure they were clean. Years of sludge was built up and after he was done, water flowed freely as if they were new pipes. There was a 40 foot snake cable that was left inside my main sewer line by previous rooter plumbers. I wasn't sure it could be removed without digging up and replacing the sewer pipe, a job that would cost $3500. I called a plumbing company that was suggested by two separate Facebook friends. They said to call Fisher Plumbing who specializes in sewer repairs. I talked to Paul Fisher, who spent almost an hour with me on the phone listening to my situation and presenting several options including some that involved work that would not even be done by his company. He said he thought he could retrieve the snake after Hydrojetting the line to remove the heavy roots that were preventing the retrieval. He quoted a flat rate of $750, including camera inspection, no matter how long it took. But what sold me was his guarantee that if he couldn't clear the line and remove the snake, I would not have to pay! I called other Hydrojet companies and found their prices to be $500 for Hydrojet and camera for the first hour, then $150 for each additional hour. If they failed to clear the line and remove the snake, I would still have to pay. Then I would have to pay thousands to dig up and replace the pipe. Paul's no success - no pay guarantee gave me the peace of mind to try the Hydrojet option. After an initial mix up between Paul and the office about scheduling the job, the Hydrojet crew, Alberto and Jorge showed up to start the job. They were both very friendly and took the time to make sure I knew what their actions were, especially when it came to viewing the camera screen to see the extensive roots and snake which were preventing any flow. By this time, a few weeks had gone by with the sewage flowing on to the front yard. The tenant and neighbors were at their wits end with the horrible smell. Alberto and Jorge did their jobs with a positive attitude and used creative thinking to overcome some stumbling blocks that threatened the job. Even though it appeared that there was no way to get past the blockage, they persisted. Water from the high pressure machine was flooding the yard until they were able to punch a hole in the roots. It was all downhill after that. The camera showed more and more roots had been cleared and then I looked up to see Jorge pulling the snake out of the clean out by the house. At this point, the job was almost done. Instead of packing up and leaving like some other plumbers had done at the first sign of success, they ran the camera again to make sure the entire line was clean. A couple of sections of roots were still there so they cheerfully brought the jetter back and ran through the line one last time. They also cleaned up the mess, shoveling the mud off the sidewalk and mitigating the smell by spreading fresh dirt over the sewage overflow. They spent almost four hours maintaining a "can do" attitude until the job was successfully completed. Their flat rate price was cheaper than the competition would have charged with no guarantee. I don't know what it is with this company. We call set up an appointment and they do not have the decency to let us know they are going to be late. This has happened a few times already. Once they are here the work is good. But their communication is lacking and they have difficulties keeping appointment times. Only reason we called is because the toilet they installed is leaking. I was originally quoted 3500 to replace a cleanout pipe going from a sink (a little pricey, but okay). I was later told that the pipe below that cleanout pipe was corroded and also needed to be replaced and was told the job was going to be 6500 (again ouch, pricey, but okay). I was then notified that the 2 charges were added together instead of the new quote being the the higher number. All told it was $10K which translated to about $250/hour. Granted the job required digging up the slab but i believe a bit of excessive pricing was being employed. Another issue i am having is that the charge on my credit card shows a different company "RHS - PLUMBING & HVAC" which leads me to believe it might have been sub-contracted to another company. read more

I have used Fisher plumbing for a couple of years. Always thought they were honest. But today is different. I had set up an appointment the day before for 4pm-6pm. When 5:30pm came no technician came so I called the office. I spoke with a lady name Erica and said no appointment was set up. I was mad, but Erica was able to get me an appointment same day between the time 6-8pm. A Supervisor named Donnie came and looked at the problem. I had a broken pvc pipe that connected to a metal pipe. What I thought was a simple fix became a quote of $7000-$9000. All what needed to be done was just to simply put a new pvc pipe no longer than 8inches. The supervisor/ technician said it will cost $900-$1100 to do the work. I said that it is still high. Then he said since they missed the appointment initially he is willing to do the work for $500. Which I thought is still a ridiculous price. I feel like the Donnie was trying to take advantage of us, because I said that the fire department had to shut off the water from the main line because the water will just keep running. I called because our whole house has no access to water. I think he was quoting us so high because he thought we are in need and desperate for the water to be turn back on the house. I just feel like no one is honest anymore, all they want is your money. read more

I have been using Fisher for years to perform any type of plumbing service I required. From clogged drains to new sewer lines. I had a galvanized pipe rust through in my backyard. A plumber from Fisher came by & told me there was nothing he could do except put in a new main line from the street to the house for $1300. I found this odd since I had just put in a new main line a couple years prior. He said he would not start digging holes to try & find the tee so it could be capped off. Which also did not make sense because to put in a new main line you have to dig a trench & would eventually find the tee to the leaking line & cap it. He left with no remedy & my house with no water. His diagnosis did not make any sense. Regardless of what he was going to do with the main line, he was going to have to find the leaking line & cap it off. If not the problem would not be resolved. Fortunately, my gardener was working at the house. I requested he dig a trench to expose the main line to attempt to locate the tee. Within an hour, the tee was found AND the leaking line capped. This experience was about as unprofessional as it gets. Having some experience in the field, the individual seemed afraid of a little work. read more

I have used Fisher plumbing for both residential and commercial settings and have had an incredibly positive experience overall. It can be difficult to schedule larger projects right away because they are very busy (however, a good sign of great work!) Most recently I was experiencing plumbing issues in a restaurant sewer line. I had a $20,000 estimate from Mr. Rooter, a $9,700 estimate from a smaller competitor, and finally Paul Fisher, who determined the issue wasn't even within the building, it was located right at the city portion of the sewer line. This means potentially $0 cost to fix the issue - only time spent dealing with the city of beverly hills-which hasn't been so bad I must say. Of the three camera inspections I had, Paul was the only one who recorded, and offered detailed insight into what the other plumbers described as emergency fixes - though now I know it was not the case. Paul was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and very transparent with figuring out a solution for us. I wouldn't hesitate to call Fisher Plumbing before anyone else now. read more

After paying 375.00 for a mini 25 foot hydro jet then being told that I should have the line camera and that it would cost around 225.00 but would have been free if the camera was on the truck I'm not real happy. Also found out that Fisher plumbing which I have used regularly and have been real happy with is now owned by "A Dee Do" plumbing.
