    $7 fish taco/each. Phenomenal.

Great selection of fresh fish. Honestly, one-stop shop for a morning session. Coffee, fish tacos, which were amazing, select your seafood, and they have a service that will clean/filet what you buy. Great idea. Can't wait to return. The fish tacos are definitely worth trying.

New fish market at the Oceanside Harbor. Starting 4/28/24, open on Sundays from 8a-2p or whenever sold out. Fresh fish caught by local fishermen that day. Park at 401 Riverside lot and walk under the tunnel.

They had ceviche in the cooler, and honestly the 5-star reviews almost convinced me to grab some, but the breakfast burrito was calling my name. Glad I listened that thing was packed with ingredients and seriously good. Absolutely loved the vibe here. Part fish market, part café, with a steady morning rush of coffee drinkers, locals, and regulars coming through the door. The team was professional and friendly from the cashier all the way back to the line cooks. You could tell everyone was working in sync back there. Definitely coming back... and next time I'm finally trying the actual main attraction: the fish.

Absolutely the worst meal I've had in a while. Was craving a…read moremeal while walking around the harbor and stumbled across this place. Saw they had burritos, so I ordered their harbor burrito. What I received was a tiny burrito (see picture) with no salsa. When I went back in to ask for salsa, they handed me several Heinz taco sauce packets. Seriously? I'm not asking for fresh made salsa/pico here, but at least some store bought salsa, even Tapatio would suffice. When I bit into my burrito, I felt and heard a loud crunch. The tortilla was overcooked and crunchy. I also had to wait 10 minutes for my burrito to cool down enough to edible levels. The "Italian sausage" advertised was hot dog. Literal hot dog. Ridiculous! I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that their seafood and sandwiches are better, but I'm never eating here again, so I guess I'll never know. +1 star for said benefit of the doubt. *Note: The prices advertised are not current. When I asked the cashier why the burrito was $3 more than advertised, she pointed to a tiny sticky note on the menu that was curved so far it was not immediately readable that stated, "Prices are subject to change." No explanation, just point.

Gorgeous harbor views + fire fish & chips = quite possibly the perfect meal!…read more Everything you've heard about this spot is true. The fish & chips are some of the best around! The cuts of cod are HUGE and the batter is sooo crispy and fresh. Their tartar sauce is delish and pairs perfectly. For sides, you can do fries, coleslaw, beans, or salad- seriously can't go wrong here. Try to snag a table outside with harbor views for the best vibes :)

When we arrived, there was no line which was pretty shocking because every other time I've been here there's always been quite a line. The girl who took our order was friendly and quick. We also had drinks, but they only had iced tea and lemonade, and sodas were all out. We were given a receipt with a number on it and we went to find seating. There are several big picnic tables, but they were all in the sun despite having umbrellas and the patio was full so we ended up having to eat inside, which was very hot. While we waited the line got pretty long. Our order didn't take too long and we brought it back to the table after getting condiments like ketchup for our fries, tartar sauce for the fish and plenty of napkins. The portions are huge and could definitely be split. Everything was too hot to eat (no complaints there) so we started with the slaw. I'm not a big slaw fan but it was good. I broke apart the fish so it would cool faster. The fries were perfectly crispy and delicious. The chowder was thick and tasty but mostly potatoes and very few clams. The shrimp were perfectly cooked inside the thick batter. The fish was well breaded and tasted good. I just wish it was a bit less greasy. This is definitely a divey spot but it's an Oceanside institution and hits the spot when I'm craving fish and chips.
