    $7 fish taco/each. Phenomenal.

Great selection of fresh fish. Honestly, one-stop shop for a morning session. Coffee, fish tacos, which were amazing, select your seafood, and they have a service that will clean/filet what you buy. Great idea. Can't wait to return. The fish tacos are definitely worth trying.

New fish market at the Oceanside Harbor. Starting 4/28/24, open on Sundays from 8a-2p or whenever sold out. Fresh fish caught by local fishermen that day. Park at 401 Riverside lot and walk under the tunnel.

They had ceviche in the cooler, and honestly the 5-star reviews almost convinced me to grab some, but the breakfast burrito was calling my name. Glad I listened that thing was packed with ingredients and seriously good. Absolutely loved the vibe here. Part fish market, part café, with a steady morning rush of coffee drinkers, locals, and regulars coming through the door. The team was professional and friendly from the cashier all the way back to the line cooks. You could tell everyone was working in sync back there. Definitely coming back... and next time I'm finally trying the actual main attraction: the fish.

Saw they had burritos, so I ordered their harbor burrito. What I received was a tiny burrito (see picture) with no salsa. When I went back in to ask for salsa, they handed me several Heinz taco sauce packets. Seriously? I'm not asking for fresh made salsa/pico here, but at least some store bought salsa, even Tapatio would suffice. When I bit into my burrito, I felt and heard a loud crunch. The tortilla was overcooked and crunchy. I also had to wait 10 minutes for my burrito to cool down enough to edible levels. The "Italian sausage" advertised was hot dog. Literal hot dog. Ridiculous! I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that their seafood and sandwiches are better, but I'm never eating here again, so I guess I'll never know. +1 star for said benefit of the doubt. *Note: The prices advertised are not current. When I asked the cashier why the burrito was $3 more than advertised, she pointed to a tiny sticky note on the menu that was curved so far it was not immediately readable that stated, "Prices are subject to change." No explanation, just point.

Our server (Chuy) was great. Very attentive but not overbearing. We started with a few apps. Crab cakes - yes, coconut shrimp - yes, calamari - meh...they're strips and were decent but no actual cocktail sauce which I think would have been nice to add. I got the pan seared Black Sea bass w/ a couple scallops. I was excited for the bass and it was good but honestly it was slightly dry. The scallops were delicious. Wasabi garlic mashed potatoes - couldn't taste wasabi or garlic. - the table tasted and agreed. Not a big deal but just saying Hahha. Anyway, always worth coming for a meal. The host, Chris, told us to sit where we wanted, then he kindly moved my walker out of the way. Very soon our server, Oracio, came with menus and to take our beverage orders. Too many times we have to wait, but our drinks were delivered quickly. We chose one of their local craft beer offerings. Then he gave us a perfect length of time to study our menus and order. Then our dinners arrived, also quickly. As we ate, there was the nice bonus of a beautiful sunset -- with no pressure to turn the table. If you go here on a Tuesday or Friday, ask for Oracio. The food and beverages, and the ambience were all great, and the excellent service tied the whole experience together. We'll definitely come back.

I came on a Friday where they served a sampler special. It came with one fried fish, two fried shrimp, coleslaw, clam chowder, fries, and crackers. The clam chowder was especially delicious. For about $21, it's fantastic value. I also had the two piece fish and chips, which is perfect for shareable. One thing to note is the fried fish pieces are large - portion size is great here. There's a self serve station for grabbing ketchup, tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and lemon wedges. The service was quick and friendly. The person who took my order explained the portion sizes and menu items very well. Overall, I had a fantastic meal and would 100% dine here again the next time I'm back in Oceanside.

The batter is light, crisp, and not greasy, which is exactly what you want from good fish and chips. Add their tartar sauce, a little malt vinegar, and honestly one of the best coleslaws around, and the whole plate just comes together perfectly. The shrimp was also a hit with us. Big, crispy shrimp with just the right amount of batter so it still feels light and not overwhelming. This made for such a great family lunch, but we've been coming here for over 10 years, so nothing about this is surprising. It is just as good as it was the first time, and it truly never misses.
