The host, Chris, told us to sit where we wanted, then he kindly moved my walker out of the way. Very soon our server, Oracio, came with menus and to take our beverage orders. Too many times we have to wait, but our drinks were delivered quickly. We chose one of their local craft beer offerings. Then he gave us a perfect length of time to study our menus and order. Then our dinners arrived, also quickly. As we ate, there was the nice bonus of a beautiful sunset -- with no pressure to turn the table. If you go here on a Tuesday or Friday, ask for Oracio. The food and beverages, and the ambience were all great, and the excellent service tied the whole experience together. We'll definitely come back.

This used to be an excellent fisherman's market and a blessing to have a local option in north county for fresh fish without having to drive all the way down to seaport village evety weekend. Unfortunately the market has been taken over by non fish vendors selling art, juice drinks, hummus, yogurt, clothes, and sweets. Some of the fishing vendors have also stopping selling here, leaving only 3 mainstay vendors selling fish. It's really sad. Why would i want to go to a fisherman's market when there are hardly any vendors selling fish? Oh well. It was nice while it lasted. Back to seaport village on saturdays for us...
