Absolutely AMAZING island style Poké. I have been in search of something to this caliber since leaving Kauai. Market manager Keegan?(hope i got that right), is exceptional! Very friendly, store is spotless. Overall a solid 10/10. You are the bomb, and i will absolutely see you regularly! Best-BretD

06/04/2026. the guy selling fish was extremely rude! never again do i come back. good luck selling fish with this attitude. aggressive, charged me extra for nothing, wanted to charge me for cutting fish. i told him my budget, he charged me way more. i've been going here for three days, every day, i was a loyal customer. the very first (other) guy was very nice and helpful, he OFFERED to cut fish for me. but after this aggressive encounter, good luck and bye bye. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST P.S not to mention the fact that he cut me some hard connecting tissue in the fish, i almost broke my tooth while chewing. then when i came back for the receipt he all of a sudden was nice and "just doing his job" (in front of other customers), but when i came first one on one he was rude and aggressive, THROWING the container and rolling his eyes. WTF? is it because i am a girl, or a younger customer, or what? what's the base for discrimination? FIRE HIM, doesn't respect customers AT ALL

If you can't tell I come here for the tuna poke!! lol. Always freshly made! Ive been coming here for a long while now and my weekend routine is to get in a morning walk on the beach then smash on about 12 ounces of fresh made tuna poke topped off with a little bit of seaweed salad. Bam!! That's my jam!!! The dudes are always super cool when I come in and always ready to make up a fresh batch! Great service and great views lol. Can't pump this enough!! Go try it!!

They had ceviche in the cooler, and honestly the 5-star reviews almost convinced me to grab some, but the breakfast burrito was calling my name. Glad I listened that thing was packed with ingredients and seriously good. Absolutely loved the vibe here. Part fish market, part café, with a steady morning rush of coffee drinkers, locals, and regulars coming through the door. The team was professional and friendly from the cashier all the way back to the line cooks. You could tell everyone was working in sync back there. Definitely coming back... and next time I'm finally trying the actual main attraction: the fish.

Saw they had burritos, so I ordered their harbor burrito. What I received was a tiny burrito (see picture) with no salsa. When I went back in to ask for salsa, they handed me several Heinz taco sauce packets. Seriously? I'm not asking for fresh made salsa/pico here, but at least some store bought salsa, even Tapatio would suffice. When I bit into my burrito, I felt and heard a loud crunch. The tortilla was overcooked and crunchy. I also had to wait 10 minutes for my burrito to cool down enough to edible levels. The "Italian sausage" advertised was hot dog. Literal hot dog. Ridiculous! I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that their seafood and sandwiches are better, but I'm never eating here again, so I guess I'll never know. +1 star for said benefit of the doubt. *Note: The prices advertised are not current. When I asked the cashier why the burrito was $3 more than advertised, she pointed to a tiny sticky note on the menu that was curved so far it was not immediately readable that stated, "Prices are subject to change." No explanation, just point.

Our server (Chuy) was great. Very attentive but not overbearing. We started with a few apps. Crab cakes - yes, coconut shrimp - yes, calamari - meh...they're strips and were decent but no actual cocktail sauce which I think would have been nice to add. I got the pan seared Black Sea bass w/ a couple scallops. I was excited for the bass and it was good but honestly it was slightly dry. The scallops were delicious. Wasabi garlic mashed potatoes - couldn't taste wasabi or garlic. - the table tasted and agreed. Not a big deal but just saying Hahha. Anyway, always worth coming for a meal. The host, Chris, told us to sit where we wanted, then he kindly moved my walker out of the way. Very soon our server, Oracio, came with menus and to take our beverage orders. Too many times we have to wait, but our drinks were delivered quickly. We chose one of their local craft beer offerings. Then he gave us a perfect length of time to study our menus and order. Then our dinners arrived, also quickly. As we ate, there was the nice bonus of a beautiful sunset -- with no pressure to turn the table. If you go here on a Tuesday or Friday, ask for Oracio. The food and beverages, and the ambience were all great, and the excellent service tied the whole experience together. We'll definitely come back.

Gorgeous harbor views + fire fish & chips = quite possibly the perfect meal!…read more Everything you've heard about this spot is true. The fish & chips are some of the best around! The cuts of cod are HUGE and the batter is sooo crispy and fresh. Their tartar sauce is delish and pairs perfectly. For sides, you can do fries, coleslaw, beans, or salad- seriously can't go wrong here. Try to snag a table outside with harbor views for the best vibes :)

When we arrived, there was no line which was pretty shocking because every other time I've been here there's always been quite a line. The girl who took our order was friendly and quick. We also had drinks, but they only had iced tea and lemonade, and sodas were all out. We were given a receipt with a number on it and we went to find seating. There are several big picnic tables, but they were all in the sun despite having umbrellas and the patio was full so we ended up having to eat inside, which was very hot. While we waited the line got pretty long. Our order didn't take too long and we brought it back to the table after getting condiments like ketchup for our fries, tartar sauce for the fish and plenty of napkins. The portions are huge and could definitely be split. Everything was too hot to eat (no complaints there) so we started with the slaw. I'm not a big slaw fan but it was good. I broke apart the fish so it would cool faster. The fries were perfectly crispy and delicious. The chowder was thick and tasty but mostly potatoes and very few clams. The shrimp were perfectly cooked inside the thick batter. The fish was well breaded and tasted good. I just wish it was a bit less greasy. This is definitely a divey spot but it's an Oceanside institution and hits the spot when I'm craving fish and chips.
