What a great find! We stopped at the Wildlife Park on the way to Portland. We wanted a quick bite on the way and this place had great reviews and didn't disappoint. They only needed about a week's notice, and didn't bat an eye when we said the amount we wanted. They were delicious and a total hit at the wedding. The staff there was also as nice as could be. We had lunch outside on the only seating available which were small picnic tables (no ambience here, and on a busy road). We went there yesterday for the 1st time & were quite disappointed. When we walked in I noticed a bit of a "fishy" smell. Husband did not, so we ordered anyway. Clam cakes were tasteless, lobster roll was tasteless, & seafood chowder was acceptable until I tasted a "fishy" piece of haddock. We will not return except for a live lobster. Service was fine. Such a good value. Most of my family lives out of state, and every summer we bring down a cooler of seafood from here - lobsters being the favorite. We have never been disappointed with the quality and freshness of them. The best part: the staff here cooks them and then chills them for free - so much easier to just sit down and eat as soon as we get to our family's home (400 miles away).
