I wish this was closer to Portland. Then again, I don't wish that at all, as the snobby city-folk would probably destroy the charm of this place. It is a relaxed and unassuming vibe. Everyone seemed to be locals/regulars. The fish market is on the left side, and the dining area on the right. They let me know to just sit anywhere, and yes, they do table service. The haddock sandwich is outstanding. The fish was fresh, of quality, and still moist. The bun is nothing to scoff at, as they use quality bread from a proper bakery and not a factory. It makes a difference! Pay with cash and get a whopping 4% discount.

Oyster were amazing! We also ordered the Haddock, Coconut shrimp, and clam chowder. Overall 10/10

Amazing! 10/10 Great food, service, and ambience. Best part were the raw oysters. Would visit again

We ventured out in the cold to take Wayne's dad out for haddock. The menu options are quite extensive, and lots of combinations available. The fried haddock & shrimp were super fresh, lightly breaded and a generous portion. The fries were good, the onion rings and clam cake seemed like frozen - would probably not order again. On the way out we noticed the pre-packaged stuff - so will look more at that next time. Service was friendly & efficient. I thought the use of plastic utensils seemed a bit off, and the place was chilly, but will go again.

The fish is fresh or frozen and doesn't sit around. They also sell lemons, slaw, and one or two other things to complete your seafood meal.

Super fresh all the time. Prices are always on point. As a seafood lover and somewhat snob this place really stands out for me

One of my favorite seafood places in Southern Maine. My ex wife brought her family from Los…read moreAngeles. She also brought them to Eventide. This is the place they couldn't stop talking about. I brought my friends from New Orleans. They loved it. It has a fun clean, sports bar vibe inside. That is mixed with the whole sea theme, which makes this a unique place. The food isn't cheap, but it is high quality and filling. They have one of the best clam chowders any of us have ever had. It is rich and creamy, but light and lemony at the same time. The service is great. Parking isn't bad. Overall, we leave here happy every single time.

07-14-26 Review My girlfriend wanted to go to Bob's today…read more I did not. I agreed. She wanted fried clams. I did not order anything. She ordered the clam basket with fries and coleslaw for the paltry sum of $38.00. Seriously? What are the clams made of? Gold? Diamonds? She also had dessert. Cheesecake for $9.00. In my opinion, these prices are "highway robbery". I've lived in Windham for years, and because Bob's is the only seafood restaurant in town, they get away with charging "tourist prices". 10-05-24 Review Remember the seminal television series "Cheers," where everyone knows your name, and they're always glad you came? That's a complete 180 in contrast to Bob's. They couldn't care less about who you are and why you're there. My server tonight was Haley. Her focus was on taking selfies of herself and being coy with the boys. As her customer, she shows zero interest. It was like she couldn't wait for her shift to end. That said, Bob's fare is mediocre and overpriced. I won't be back. Two thumbs down.
