No frills place to pick up fresh lobster and crab. But, they also make a mean lobster roll. We were driving through the area headed to NH and needed a lobster roll fix before we left Maine. We were a tiny bit hesitant to stop in since there weren't any pics of their lobster rolls*. But I'm glad we took the chance. It was worth it. Their lobster roll is simple, but so yummy. Generous portions of lobster - simply dressed with just enough mayo on a perfectly buttered roll. And you can't beat the price. The lady running the place seemed really nice too. * I've uploaded a pic so now others can see for themselves.

I had a decent experience here last weekend. Friendly staff and the lobster was $1.00 less a pound than Hannaford. I'm looking forward to heading back next time I'm in Bridgton.

Best fried fish I've ever had to this day! First found this place several years ago and I haven't had better fish and chips since.

The site is transformed inside from the driving range outside and has fantastic food and drink. We got a specialty coffee and mint tea to start. My coffee was good, but overshadowed by an artistic and extra special mint drink. So desperately trying to reproduce at home, this is not to miss. Fresh mint and wonderfully steeped with sugar to smooth. From there- wings were on our table. As with everyone's input we devoured these as a special recipe. Charred perfectly and spiced with extra lemon and zip. As advertised- spectacular! Lastly we got a salad and then the lamb with cous cous. So tender, great sweetness to contrast the somewhat spicy wings. I have never been to Morocco but felt like I did for this meal. Definitely cooked with tradition in mind and expertly to get fall off the bone brilliance. Service was exemplary for a holiday weekend. Even entertaining as funny quip showed great care to the patrons. All food was served quick and with care. Highly rated from me and my guest - come hungry. Portions are great (even a side Misto salad was large). Need to come back!

The beer selection was decent and had a great local variety to choose from food was delicious. Everyone else got a different version of burger while I ordered the pound and a half of baby back ribs. Everything was cooked exactly as ordered all while our server never wrote a single thing down. I'm not sure if anything will bring us back to that area but if it does, we will definitely be back.

When seated I had no problem that I wasn't seen until 5 minutes passed, or that I was not handed a drink menu until I asked for one. What I do have a problem with however is being treated differently to other patrons for no apparent reason. Visiting this town as a person of Latino descent has been a joy so far but at the Black Horse Tavern I finally understood why I was warned about coming to Bridgton. After the hostess sat us down, we waited about 5 minutes to see hour waitress, as she approached our table she immediately asked if we wanted drinks or appetizers, my boyfriend asked for a drink menu which seemed to bother her. After receiving the drink menu we waited another 5 minutes to then be met with another waitress because our original one passed us off to someone else who ended up taking our drink and entree orders. The original waitress did eventually return with our said beverages she slammed them down in front of my boyfriend and I. The only reason I know the waitress's name is Shannon is because I heard her greet another table and because it was on my receipt. We carried on and made the best of our situation as we enjoyed what we could of our dinner but even as she returned with the bill, she slammed it in front of my boyfriend yet again and continued having pleasant conversations with another group of people. As we left we didn't even get a "thanks for coming" or a "goodnight" as we left the restaurant.

This is the place they couldn't stop talking about. I brought my friends from New Orleans. They loved it. It has a fun clean, sports bar vibe inside. That is mixed with the whole sea theme, which makes this a unique place. The food isn't cheap, but it is high quality and filling. They have one of the best clam chowders any of us have ever had. It is rich and creamy, but light and lemony at the same time. The service is great. Parking isn't bad. Overall, we leave here happy every single time.

07-14-26 Review My girlfriend wanted to go to Bob's today…read more I did not. I agreed. She wanted fried clams. I did not order anything. She ordered the clam basket with fries and coleslaw for the paltry sum of $38.00. Seriously? What are the clams made of? Gold? Diamonds? She also had dessert. Cheesecake for $9.00. In my opinion, these prices are "highway robbery". I've lived in Windham for years, and because Bob's is the only seafood restaurant in town, they get away with charging "tourist prices". 10-05-24 Review Remember the seminal television series "Cheers," where everyone knows your name, and they're always glad you came? That's a complete 180 in contrast to Bob's. They couldn't care less about who you are and why you're there. My server tonight was Haley. Her focus was on taking selfies of herself and being coy with the boys. As her customer, she shows zero interest. It was like she couldn't wait for her shift to end. That said, Bob's fare is mediocre and overpriced. I won't be back. Two thumbs down.
